    Those are really good motors it's crazy seeing it on a Trx4 lol. You got a big block in her now brother. Looks really good hopefully it all works well for ya. The Hobbywing setups are bulletproof and seem to be under rated. I know a hobbywing Quicrun BL 120 amp esc can do 4s no probs even though it says 3s. Iv ran 4s 80c on mine for over a year now in my Arrma Granite mega v3 I got a Hobbywing Quicrun 10BL120 3s sensored/Sensorless esc pushing a big block 4076 2200kv sensorless motor on a 23T pinion 57 Steel Spur. Truck does 58.3 mph on 3s and 70 on 4s atm which is plenty fast for me anyway it does standing back flips ect already lol

      Thanks, HobbyWing is probably my favourite company for motors. I’ve run my slash 4x4 with a HobbyWing 4000kv motor on 4s and it was insane. It’s only rated for 3s but it took it!

    Using the HW Axe 540 snaller can 2300kv combo in my TRX4 (with 2S). Awesome upgrade to the stock one. I mean yeah super expensive but absolutely worth it (if it´s in the budget plan).
    But since I´ve updated the receive+Remotecontroller for arround 65 bugs (FlySky GT5 - available from different brands, inter-compatible with different "branded" receivers, incl. gyro and 6 channels for 10 bugs) it´s completely differen driving experience over the TRX stock stuff. Even just locking the Diff´s seperatly is so much win.
    Maybe an option for you too, even if you can modify a lot on the Axe with the BT module, with this (or any better than TRX receiver) it´s so easy. Also servo endpoint adjustments will stop microServos from breaking.

    • @TrekRC
      @TrekRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @JEJ Copteros cool, may consider that👍. I currently have problems with my diff lock servos.

      @@TrekRC so mine "run on block" and the electronic died, or they tooth´s weared out multiple times, the most frustrating on my trx4. Both hard to fix. I´ve clicked some waterproof metal gear micro servos in china (~15bugs each) and set servo endpoints, cause they must not go the whole way up/down for lock/unlock. Since then i never had a broken servo. But not sure if it´s up on the Servo´s or the adjusted endpoints. However, the new remote is much more fun to use and much more conveniant than the "old" TRX transmitter, which is Okayish for an RTR car but yeah ... theres so much more options to tweak

    • @TrekRC
      @TrekRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @LEJ Copteros. I agree. The endpoints are not set up that well out of the box.
      FYI, I am going to do a few small quadcopter videos in the future👍.

    I am buying this but would you consider 2700kv option or the 3300kv? Which one has more power? I see some fast RC run on smaller Kv numbers but waaay faster.

    • @TrekRC
      @TrekRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe a lower KV motor has more torque and a higher KV motor has more speed. You can calculate the RPM of the motor by doing Voltage ( from battery) X motorKV. Generally much lower KV motors can run at a higher voltage than higher KV motors which can make them fast. I hope this helps 👍

    Hi I like your channel! Hows the Hobbywing holding up all this time? Can the TRX4 drivetrain handle it pretty well? Did you break any internal parts with the added speed? Or noticed any increased wear and tear in the parts? Thank you

    • @TrekRC
      @TrekRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, I haven’t had anything in the driveline break on my trx4. It’s handled the extra power perfectly. The only thing I’ve ever broken on my trx4 is the little servos for diff locks. 👍

      Hi so I just got this combo, but Im kinda confused on the Hobbywing AXE 550 ESC, so if I set the built in BEC to 7.4V, my mini servos ( locking diffs/high speed low speed servo) cannot handle it as it only runs on 6v. What should I do if I wanna use the built in 7.4V BEC on the Hobbywing AXE so I can upgrade my servo to a higher end one without destroying my mini servos? And I also have the Traxxas light kit installed. thank you for the help!

    • @TrekRC
      @TrekRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Power HD makes upgraded metal geared servos that replace the shifting servos. They can run on 7.4v. There is probably other companies that makes servos for trx4
