I absolutely love how honest he is, indicating how he is disappointed in the clear spots - I saw it before he said it and was like, "yeah, I'm not going to do that," and BAM, then he comes in with the humility, love it.
A absolutely beautiful ring Patrick! I LOVE those colors
I really enjoyed watching this process, I’ve always wondered how that was done. Thank you for sharing. Loved this❤
I love how light the titanium blank is. And I love the red and black opal
Really nice very new as in first time seeing this .. Be sure will view them all. Thanks
Could you use the black pigment without the glow dust to get your solid black?
1-2-3 blocks are some of the most useful things in my shop, they have so many uses!
hey kyle! im a new subscriber and a new woodturner and i would love to turn a ring for myself but idk what size i wear though. chris
Missing Description/Link. I agree with Kyle, would be nice in black ceramic for sure!
I just did this in white ceramic....omg even better
Just my opion but you should take everything down past the rim on the inside just a little. Then put in more CA that was there is just a small solid rim of clear and no stone will be poking threw and no solid bits on surface. But thanks for posting to show your process.
nice job
This might be a silly question but I'm new to turning. I ordered a bunch of ring blanks as I am experienced with resin but turning is new.
I got a ¿dual wheel polisher? for christmas. Is this fitted-ring/turning attachment something I could add on to that or would I need to purchase a whole new system?
I think it'd look better with the black ceramic blank honestly
What's the point in putting opal if you are gonna get rid of all of it when you are evening it out?
Where are the ring blanks sourced from?
where can i get one of the expandable ring mandrel
What colour of glow power is that? I may have missed him saying
Do you still do these boxes?
Where do you sell them?
How do I get that ring thing that you put on the lathe with the different sizes?
yes i'm wondering too
I am Interested in Black In lay do Sale Black powder For that
where buy ring catcher
Glow powder, but no glowing pics?
How much is this one?
Ok. Results are excellent. Yours is only the 2nd video on rings I've seen. Having never done a ring I'm se I clueless as to al, the steps. As I found out when I started pen turning, the finishing process is key to the final product. You burned thru at warp speed all the important sanding and finishing without any explanation, only that annoying music. For a beginner, it wasnt a complete video. Now I've got to keep watching. BTW, Mike at Craft Supplies , does his finishing totally different. No Dreamland. I'm checking out your website for supplies.
Yeah there no link for pictures
First impression: turn down that extremely annoying music. I'll be back after I watch to the end
Dude really digs the sound of his own voice eh
😂
