    I still watch these even though I can't afford any of the equipment or the box itself half the time, they're just entertaining. Like on the main channel you see all these exotic rings and you think that you could never do it yourself but on here you realize that it's not as difficult as it seems and with a bit of practice you can get into it, can't wait till I can get lathe and some materials to work with!

      This is an old comment but you're right I actually bought a crushed opal ring and then I actually made a crushed opal ring for my brother's birthday but it was a struggle because it was my first time and now I've ordered everything to make my own crushed opal ring with glow powder and pigment powder and I'm more ready this time around but the ring I made my brother turned out really well and I don't own a lathe machine yet I got someone to make me a 3D printed thing so I can put this attachment part so can put an inlay ring on and it's working out great especially because I just ordered glue activator so glue drys almost right away

    I cant wait to get started making my own rings, thanks for the tutorial. I prefer to have more details and information rather than less, keep up the great work.

    Pack the glass in shredded paper in a small jewelry box separate from everything else. Seriously, really protects them breaking. Also environmentally friendly.

    I like the glass ones so much better. The plastic just doesn’t smash into as sharp pieces.

    Never turned a ring ….. but really getting interested in the idea and loving the TH-cam videos. But you not able to ask live questions so that would be good…😊

    Maybe for the glass vials you could increase the price for bumble wrap or a bigger black box, because I don’t know about others, but I love the glass vials.

    Try and pack the glass vials in a deeper protective layer, plastic bites.

    Patrick: I have been studying up about buffing machines and I am suspicious that you may have your buffing wheels reversed? I'm not sure exactly but my thought is: The wheel with the stitches is firmer and should be used with the white compound. The wheel without the stitches is softer and should be used with the green compound. You could easily change the wheels - but you would want to wash (?) the wheels first to remove residue of the old compound.

    Yes to live streams for sure!!

    I thought about this again last night and you may not want to make any sort of change due to cross contamination of the compounds.

    Also... I vote for Glass viles.. glass is better... perhaps a little Cotton ball or bubble wrap could help.. 🙂

    What viscosity of CA glue do you use for the pigment/glow powders?

    • @PB-wb2kj
      @PB-wb2kj 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Use a low viscosity glue. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M8JT9LI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    ok, i went to your site and spent some $$.
    Site is fine, it's probably just me, but it would be if there was a better/larger/custom beginner kit(never made a ring before)
    Lets see how it goes.
