04:38 A non growing "stable nation" is not a stable nation. Growth leads to stability overall. Maintaining any specific living standards in a Global economy one needs growth. 05:22 The number of entrepreneurs is a percentage of the population, thus the larger the population the more entrepreneurs you have. There is something to be said about quantity vs. quality but you will still get an overall higher quality of top "producers" with a larger populace. And I am not placing any blame on the Jpn. youth not having kids or what not. What I am thinking of is the restraint of new blood from outside of the country. Again I do understand that there is A LOT of historical dynamics going on and that I do not understand all of them but to totally disregard outsiders that want to be a positive part of Japanese Society seems a little misguided and fool hearty. Im not saying that this needs to be a concentration/consideration for the Jpn. youth but maybe for the whole.

26:23 I am a proponent of upcoming tech breakthroughs (I think they are cool as heck and should be praised even if they don't pan out) My distaste is in the 2030-2050 talk and how (to me it seems) like there should be no other option and or outcome. An all eggs in one basket type of ideal. Where in in that there isn't a continuation on a focus of the tried and true way of doing things. Now not to say that things cant be changed for the better just that (I think) there needs to be a "keep on keeping on" where humans continue to do what we have been doing for quite a wile. The time that is talked about is one to almost two Generations of people away. My concern is what happens in these 2 maybe + generations? And not just in Jpn. but South Korea, EU, China, the continent of Africa, the Americas. The world passes you by as you wait for the future. (I am pointing at myself here). The need for chubby cheeked little bb's and good education, food, and living environment seems to me to be a giant commonality. We praise the youth for looking forward into a bright future but we still need them to continue trudging along in the humanity of it all and to not make it easier (in some aspects) for them then the last generations to do so, is I think irresponsible. I could go on, and may somewhere else. I think this G7/G20 talk is pretty cool. Thanks for the vid (the H.S. comment was pretty good) (obvs this was written before the end of the vid. sry)

Sorry one more thing that bothered me was the 38:10 comparison of Israel and the Continent of Africa. Two very different populations, places on the map along with history. I mean they do both get Billions a year on financial aid from the US but I guess maybe the concentration of said funds into the size of them both may just skew the numbers. IDK just a thought. So might not wanna use that comparison. Also that what is the overall "GDP per. cap. Growth" around the world? Is it tech based? If so where is the means to create tech growth? I think the easiest pointer would be in Semiconductor Fabrication Plants. Israel has 4 and one under construction. On the other hand Africa The ENTIRE Continent has (from what I have seen, not exact #'s) just 1 in Kenya. For comparisons of wealth for countries talking about very very different countries as equals is disingenuous and leads to to many holes in an discussion. That will bring the conversation to a halt and or derail it all together.
