30 seconds later those brave state troops were sandwich by chariots and the fiends 😢
I really love the aesthetic of the Keepers of Secrets, as if theyre walking over a catwalk through the battlefield.
And then you've got N'Kari naruto running everywhere.
KoS is probably my favorite unit for this reason. And Nkari is an absolute beast with his Naruto speed

But legend, you used your superior speed, maneuverability and charge bonus to your advantage to compensate for your lack of missiles and durability, that's cheese!

Nkari, or as I like to think of him, Crab Naruto.
Damn that was a real fun battle to watch, it really reminded me of MedII era battles where you can decide a big battle in a series of lots of small battles rather than a big brawl. Really an excellent example of defeat in detail where the movement advantage and the time to kill really shone especially with the pacing. All the damage done by magic and taking out missile units and single entities meaning you could surround and route/crush the 1st army and then pick off the last reinforcements of the 3rd and 4th army.
I mean at this point I'm just describing the entire battle but it was all so damn smooth. I just looked at the start of the video and all I could think was I would seduce Hellstorm Rocket Batteries (I don't know the costs) or something to lord snipe and beginning to phantom the absolute infantry brawl this would end up in.
And instead I got one of the cleanest and most satisfying WH III battles and that with a really unspecialised army mostly consisting of infantry and cavalry. Really shows what one can achieve with some patients and some good planning.

This fight was so beautifully Slaaneshi! All of it perfect and almost like you were toying with the poor souls! Watching Legend play Skaven or Slaanesh is so thematic every time!

It often feels like seduction is more of a "As long as the enemy doesnt have it anymore, i dont give a shit about how much good it does me", especially with how only few armies/units really work well with Slaaneshi tactics

I wonder what's making the AI constantly reform their formation like this, is it the Very Hard battle difficulty? I play on Normal battle difficulty and I never see the AI do this; usually their formations are pretty tight

Jesus Christ, yeah, I feel the power of single entities first hand in small unit scale, Skarbrand has been a constant calamity every time, three armies are an even fight against that guy, though also, Skarbrand is Skarbrand
Just a little detail: N'kaari's heal triggers whenever a unit is wiped out near him. He doesn't actually need to be the one who kills it for the heal to trigger.
Legend have you considered making a tier list for attributes for lords/units like frenzy, regeneration, strider etc.

Have you seen the video on how to steal allied lords? You have to have the lord and his army die to attrition and the lord be immortal. Works great.

I didn't play WHTW3 for like half year... I was hoping they fixed at least this weird reforming AI behaviour... This makes battles so much easier If you have flying casters in the army. Sad...
seems that kiting the ai is far too easy with a single fast unit and the way their formations were just walking backwards and forwards for 20 mins looked so bad and basically meant those units didn't exist. is this standard behaviour, or was it because they had those artillery units? on the other hand, yes your micro was great, singling out specific units so you'd get better encirclements and take less damage on key units, solid use of spells, it was just so jarring to see how poorly the ai plays even on very hard difficulty
I wonder how trained AI might do if CA were to somehow record solo campaign battle behaviors of human players then train an AI on it so kiting and other cheesey maneuvers might have creative responses from the AI.
Why even set up control groups if you're still selecting units with your mouse instead of the keyboard numbers?
