I also use burn build, but I went for pure critical. Enjoying the +32% crit damage while the enemy is being burned. But instead of pyro dyno, I use the shadow hound. Not only does it increase all the damages, it also aggroes the enemies. You should also try molotov with the burn build cause it will keep proc-ing the explosive as if you have the pyro dyno. I quickly melt Ravenous this way with 13k damage per hit and around 18k explosive damage.
I'm currently using boom boom with burning wrath mod 3p settlement and 2p heavy duty with hardy gloves lol I would recommend burning wrath over ember because you can simply proc the explosion more often
@@FruityF00L the 25% chance stacks with the 15% chance the gun already has giving you a 40% chance to stack burn per bullet after the initial burn lol that plus rapid fire lmg you can get 6 to 7 procs per mag
I think this build has a lot of room for improvement , theres some mods you can loot from PW with status trigger chance, i wonder if that adds up to the boom boom burn chance if so you can get it prob to 35% to burn which will increase the explosion uptime, you are right is expensive.
if i recall correctly, arent the mods only farmable from prime wars? the lmg really needs that additional trigger chance, but farming prime war rn seems like such a chore when its so laggy and it doesnt feel as worth it to farm when the mod drops are entirely random 😭

There is one problem with the build - it has very low damage per second. This is due to two things: 1. Low rate of fire of the machine gun. 2. Low chance of burn.
@@FruityF00L The build is based on the maximum speed of increasing burn stacks. You can increase the firing rate by 30%, but this will not be enough with 18% base trigger burn + 6% trigger burn from the submod. I tried to get another mod with trigger burn into the mask, but I didn’t get it. In theory, with a 30% trigger burn build should produce average DPS, but it will require too much effort for average DPS. There are much cheaper builds with greater efficiency.
ill be honest thats pretty low on the test dummy. im hitting 18k and getting 420-435k total and ive not upgraded my mods or using the dino. Only just chucked it together cause of the wish machine. ive not even tried properly with this build yet
This gun is only viable if you can get a weapon mod and mask mod that increases burn trigger chance. The 18% it starts out with is super bad for dps. Getting those 2 mods with a gold trigger chance increases your explositions so much quicker. ATM shrapnel is just superior since you can basically just buy 3-4 piece of lone wolf for 9-12k and get the beret to level 4 easy enough.

@@Diemofoxx I’ve found that if you keep the stacks from embers you can quickly stack up the explosion again. I mean if you have a high burn chance it would be better with flame resonance for sure.
@@FruityF00L i think your set up is good for pvp with lot of explosion but for pve I can reach 16k dps and 4500 fire tick with 7 burn stack. I have a lot of damage over time and sometimes I can just shoot one mob let him burn and explode when he died, if there any mob near him they died to. There is a lot of different build you can choose and you can play with a lot of different waepon like the ak or the double fury shotgun which deal a lot of damage too. But whatever thanks for sharing your build it help a lot :D
@@FruityF00L Yeah I understand that. When this game came out I rolled burn LMG as first Legendary, so I just went with it. Tried a variety of things, shooting 1 magazine containing 130 bullets due to mag capacity increase from substats with Embers and Hardy gloves and 4x Shelterer would net me around 280k total dmg. However, switching to Flame Resonance and BBQ gloves yielded me a total dmg of 430k consistently per magazine. On Prime War I can reach between 8.5k and 10k burn dmg per tick, given someone applies Vulnerability. So, all in all, while I agree the explosion is fun, BBQ gloves is king for the moment.
the gloves actually takes away all the burn stacks so it's better to grab the weapon mod that gives chance to +1 burn stacks instead of the 50% burn stacks

Tried many build already. Fast Gunner Shrapnel and now the Shotgun Crit Build which ill be swapping over to a Weakness Build once i have the starchrom for the Key Armour Boots.

With Pyro Dino the hardy gloves can proc 50k and even seen 75k dmg per proc. But only on great ones and some high hp elites.

I have rapid shot style so the rate of fire shouldn’t be that low. Low burn chance yes but I go over this and talk about it in the video.

You get waaaay more dmg off for bosses with flame resonance weapon mod than Embers

It doesn’t take away burn stacks if you use embers. You only loose half the stacks
I guess if you really like burn.. All meta builds do at least 50+k dps.. i think i dropped my burn boom build because i couldn't get more than 20..
quick question why do you get the explosion proc i thought they only happen when someone dies while burning ?
