What a disaster infrastructure this city has. Our city is handicapped in comparison to other big cities. Cars, bikes, and transit will always be essential and will always coexist. Always. It's amazing how things have become the drivers' problems because of how little foresight our city planners had. Oh well.
Bikers. You'll always be dealing with this crap. And will only get worse. Drivers. Same for you.

This makes me wonder how is the price of the parking tickets determined? Does the government just pick a random number or is there a mathematical formula for determining parking ticket prices?

You forget to pay on the TTC, fine is at least $235. Forget to pay on GO Transit, first offence fine is $35. Forget to pay for parking, fine is $30. It's basically all the same offence (stealing a transportation good you are not paying for) so why is their not more similarity between parking fines and transit fines!

Good idea as long as it's on residential streets where speeding is the most dangerous. Instead cops sit on big boulevards in commercial neighborhoods. This shows its all about $$$ , because of bad management. And yes, Automate enforcement. Paying cops to chase people to hand them a citation is STOOPID, outdated and causes disruption in traffic flow.
