Imagine Gordon narrating his life the way he cooks.
Open the door, step forward, door's behind you now, close it. Beautiful.
He's Gordon Ramsay not Randy Newman.
Don’t forget to season the door…
let the door do the work ...
I’ve seen this comment before on another gordon ramsay video but I’m okay with it bc it’s so good
@@mimamimo6975 Now add a touch of butter *dumps vat of butter onto door knob*.
My man put salt on the patty 3 times, salted the onions, salted the lettuce and salted both layers of cheese. Definitely an all American burger ready to give you an all American hospital bill
Long live insurance
@@LawlessLonewolf
American "insurance" sucks and only benefits big pharma
how does salt send you to the hospital though?
@@TaylorPhase too much salt causes high blood pressure, deadly for fat americans
@@TaylorPhase Too much of it lol
My dude probably salted the cameraman as well
😂😂😂😂😂
And most importantly, a little touch of olive oil!
Bro hahahaha salted all burguer include the bread
I'm saying, geez. I put a pinch on anything and feel like it might have too much salt lol
This comment made me laugh right up in the funny bone. That side bend from the mid rib finger prod tickle. Eye juice on top of the cheek cramps. Tissues vital. Loved it. Five stars.
At this point, I'm convinced that he is trolling us with the seasoning.
It's an All American Burger. I think he's doing both. XD
No I usually season both sides of my burgers with Kosher salt and ground pepper and lightly season veggies that are caramelized.. cooking the salty foods reduce the sharp salt taste compares to adding salt 3 times after cooking g
Salt, fat, and acid is what makes food taste good. That's why he uses lots of salt, butter, and the pickles. Not something you want to eat every day, but it's a nice treat
no, thats how you make good tasting , truly american food.
If you visit about thirty countries, you'll add more seasoning
Ramsay literally seasons the season with seasoning to make sure its seasoned enough.
It's about the cooking. You lose a lot of seasoning with beef once it's applied to heat so it's not at all unreasonable to thoroughly season it.
It’s about salt, it’s about pepper, we stay seasoned, we devour, put in the heat, put in the seasoning and take what ours
The only way this video could have had more seasoning is if the soundtrack was Vivaldi's Four Seasons.
That why his food was not bland
I AM DYING RIGHT NOW!!! Hahahaha!!!!
"That is a burger to die for" litterally 😂😂
how u cannot even fit this in any mouth i don't get this trend making burger bigger then u can bit out of it
@@Maceventur I was thinking the same thing
@@Maceventur Well…Cut the burger vertically in half, if that doesn’t work then halve each half (basically quartering it) and if that doesn’t work then gg I suppose
I get that LITERALLY
He probably meant to say "from".
"Chef Ramsay how much should I season my Burger with Salt and Pepper?"
Gordon: YES
had the absolut same thought in my head 😂
"Reuse generic comment formats to get likes", yes.

Not enough salt and pepper, but apart from that it looks delicious.
I hope thats sarcasm. I got dehydrated thinking about how much salt went on there

Could use just a smidge more salt and pepper
And just a touch more butter.
Nah, definitely need more salt, or else how is he going to get diabetes?

Hi there,
If you do not mind me sharing; a well-planned, organic, unrefined and untempered with vegan diet (consuming raw plant foods where possible so as not to denature or destroy the life-forces and enzymatic activities beneficial to the human system. If disagreeing on this matter, please take some steamed carrots, plant them and see if they will grow; if not, it is because they are 'dead' plant food that cannot benefit one's 'living' cells) consisting of organic fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds and whole grains is the best diet to provide mankind with ultimate health and longevity.
Regarding the whole protein concern for vegans is exaggerated from gathered information especially that there are 'high protein' plant food sources e.g nuts and legumes; People showing signs of deficiencies e.g those showing signs of anorexia, actually need plant food sources such as starchy carbohydrates that help with weight gain than protein.
I highly encourage being a sceptic, research things for yourself, and you will find out that the diet shared with you is actually for your own good (even if it means making small changes here and there, i would encourage) e.g processed meats are classified as carcinogenic to humans in Group 1, which is as bad as it can get, where as plant foods are classified as anti-cancer foods.
Please avoid factory produced meat alternatives whose chief ingredient can be 'soy' and may contain preservatives as well as additives (e.g vinegar, a corrosive agent). Food toxicity and nutrient deficiency (e.g white bread, white rice and white sugar) are a deadly combination as one is hindering the body's building materials needed to action healing whilst at the same time taxing the system with more toxic stuff, thus bringing about disease and possibly even an early death.
GOD Bless
💙💙💙
@@Look.Upward If humans aren't meant to eat meat, why did we EVOLVE to hunt? Did we evolve a complex brain and sophisticated social structures just to sit around and munch on plants? Is it a mere coincidence that some of the first tools we created were used specifically to kill and hunt animals for consumption? You vegans always claim to be "on the side of nature," yet can never explain why humans are supposedly the only "herbivorous apex predators." Chimpanzees, our direct ancestors are omnivorous and eat whatever they can find. Even herbivorous animals like deer, when facing nutrient deficiency, will supplement their diet with birds or small animals (there is footage of this available online). God doesn't exist and humans evolved to be omnivores. "Plant foods are anti-cancer foods" is a generalization. Morphine comes from plants and is therefore natural, should people consume it? Plenty of plants-derived substances are carcinogenic and plenty of animal products have anti-cancer properties. What matters is the CHEMISTRY of the substance, not "life-forces." Also, if "dead" cells cannot benefit one's "living" cells, how will eating a raw cucumber benefit my body after my stomach acid kills its cells? No logic whatsoever, go pray to your imaginary god.
This is a salt video 😂
He added salt to everything but the "watery" tomato :p if there is anything on that burger, that needs a pinch of salts, its the tomato!
exactlyyyy
Came looking for this comment
Who da fuck is that guy..
I think cause salt draws out water so it would have made the burger soggy and sliding apart. Even a “dry” tomato still makes a burger a lil soggy slip slidey which I hate 🥲
SEASON THE CHEESE!?!?
Gordon done lost it now
He probably seasoned that cameraman before they start recording 😂
1:38 "Season the cheese"
It sounds like a typical Gordon meme but he's actually gotten to that point now 😂
I tried this, I'd recommend maybe just a bit more salt and pepper cause you can hardly tell it's there but otherwise great recipe!
^
U r taking da Pi$$ aren't you?
Now that looks like a Krabby patty.
My man really out here seasoning the cheese lmao.
I love these videos. Simple, straight to the point and from the done perspective of confident experience.
Made this recipe tonight and it was the best burger I’ve ever cooked, and I’ve been tinkering with the recipe for years. Fabulous!
With all that salt? Or did you reduce it? Seriously asking
@ you’re right- I did reduce all that salt.
Looks great! Glad Gordon didn't do the typical pretentious chef thing and use a bunch of expensive oddball ingredients. I've been making lots of burgers myself recently, been getting fresh ground beef from the Butcher and hand making the patties on top of fresh buns from the bakery. I love burgers. ❤️
Amen
You shoulda seen his 10 million special burger lmao.
Simple is usually best.
My most recent favorite burger uses a bread mix binder in the beef.
2 slices of bread no crust cut up into cubes
1/3 cup milk in and turn bread to paste
1 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire
2 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon pepper
2 1/2 teaspoon salt
A few garlic cloves
Mix and add to beef.
Add chopped scallions if desired. New fan favorite with friends and family.
This one is simply perfect.
Well it's an all American burger, of course he's not gonna deviate from the classic ingredients.
Finally a burger you can eat every season
I tried your recipe for the All American Burger, and it was the best burger I've ever eaten! Thanks so much!
Did you add burger to the salt and pepper?😜
it wasnt really a recipe, just how to build a burger
Im still questioning if it’ll rival my normal burgers with Goya Adobo, a little salt and pepper, and paprika
You’re welcome!
Did you make your beef patty from ground beef or did you buy a ready-made patty?
Very interesting to see Ramsey make such a simple burger. Normally there’s a little something special like a sauce or ingredient you wouldn’t expect but this is cooking for the everyday person. I like the new direction. Would just recommend a little bacon.
Fat
I swear to god my guy Gordon is the only guy who would season American Cheese
Made three last night. Wife takes a bite. Eyes widen. Looks at me. “I’ve never tasted a burger like this!” WINNER. Well played! BRAVO. I cooked. She cleaned up. Still worth it.
“Dad I want a new car”
“hold on let me make another identical burger recipe, that should cover the cost of the car”
“thanks dad!”
when he’s cooking, the way he just touches it like it’s not extremely hot blows my mind
He definitely knows how to burger the season
i was making eggs this morning and i didn’t put enough salt, when i tasted it i imagined gordon scolding me for them being bland
"You call these EGGS, you fucking donkey? They're under-seasoned and bland! I wouldn't feed this to my dog!"
This is by far the most American burger I've ever seen Gordon create. It looks delicious! (And of course, I don't think badly of any of his burgers, just this one really does seem the most "American" in ingredients.)
Not really. This is almost the same thing he does every time except he didn’t use Chili powder.
@engineer gaming ok. But it’s still the same one he always makes
To cook a burger, just add salt to the pan. Then cook the salt and add to a bun. Later on in the evening, go out for a burger somewhere and put some food in your stomach to absorb the salt.

As an avid griller, I've had my fair share of experiences with different grills. I was previously a Traeger+ user, but recently, I switched to Asmoke, and boy, what a change! The temperature control and consistency of the Asmoke grill truly impressed me. I love the fact that Asmoke uses 100% applewood pellets which gives my burgers a unique smoky flavor, something that I never got from my Traeger grill. Also, the portability is a game-changer! Now, I can bring my Asmoke grill on camping and road trips with ease. The battery-powered feature is just the cherry on top, allowing me to grill anywhere without worrying about a power source. It's not just a grill, it's a lifestyle change. #Asmoke
The fact that Gordon made Jimmy break his fast challenge.
Means his food are super delicious.
so far gordon’s secrets to a great burger have been 1. in the bun 2. in the seasoning blend. finally, the secret behind a great burger is in the color
gordon ramsay is the bob ross of cooking
I learned how to grill burgers from Gordon Ramsay and they are still a hit every time I make them. I'll have to give this skillet method a shot! Also the variation of having mayonnaise and mustard on the top and bottom. It's little things like this that go unnoticed but undoubtedly have an impact on the deliciousness.
well its technically just a very quick and easy way to replace a traditional burger sauce which always has mayo and mustard in it anyway.
dont forget salt and pepper tho
@@HerrderHoden *Technically* its just 2 sauces that work well in a burger regardless of how quick and easy it is.
Such a beautiful burger you made! I love that you cook onion with beef juice on the same pan. Can't wait to try it ;)
Dont try the salty burger
It ruins the onion for vegetarians though.
As an avid griller, switching from Qstoves+ to Asmoke was a game changer for me. The precision of the digital controller on the Asmoke grill is unparalleled, allowing me to maintain a consistent cooking temperature and achieve perfect results every time. And the variety of flavors from the different wood pellets is just incredible! I love experimenting with hickory, applewood, and mesquite, each adding a unique smoky flavor to my burgers. Plus, the grill's portability and battery life mean I can take it on my camping and road trips without any hassle. And let's not forget the convenience of the Asmoke app, which allows me to monitor my food temperature remotely and even share my recipes. It's not just about grilling anymore, it's about creating an experience and Asmoke makes that experience deliciously unforgettable. #Asmoke

"And because of all that BEAUTIFUL HEAT in the pan..."
Heat in the pan: *Blushes*
Gordon Ramsay I love the way you cook! Your beautiful verbal articulation of food is incredible 🖤🙌🏻
Gordon: ,,that is a burger to die for."
Me: ,,no that is a burger you die from."
Man... I'm sure it's delicious but between frying it in the pan, adding butter twice, and adding salt to everything, even the lettuce, this burger is perfect for the heart attack grill
"Season the cheese" wtf lol
The fat in meat doesn't give you a heart attack nor does butter or salt. Your arteries get clogged with cholesterol when you have high levels of insulin running through your veins for years. What causes insulin to spike to abnormally high levels ? Eating carbohydrates, or eating frequently throughout the day, or both.
Humans are designed to eat fat. Have a look at videos from Dr Jason Fung or Dr Ben Bikman, to name just a few.
You're welcome.
he did say its to die for at the end
He only put a pinch of salt each time, that's a fair amount compared to probably any fast food place. Mcdonalds fries literally are drenched in salt it all accumulates at the bottom.
@@geechyguy3441 correct plus they fry with bad quality and overused oil.

They can make double and triple cheeseburgers with chili in certain fast food joints with chili. It's an experience that all burger lovers must experience before they kick the bucket.
50% burger 50% salt and pepper
This burger was absolutely fantastic.
I'm but a lowly youtube commenter, Chef Ramsay, but I want to share something with you, as an American and burger lover, about most gourmet burgers. The toppings are tall enough as is. Most of these, you'd have to dislocate your jaw to bite into it. Also, the beef patty shrinks when you cook it, making it smaller than the bun. I propose you use thinner and wider patties. This makes it easier for the jaw and ensures beef in every bite. Something to consider.
Yeah, I think if you're gonna make one of these burgers, you should have to eat the whole thing on camera, too. So we can see the regret.
YES! THANK YOU for having common fkn sense. Ridiculous overstacks burger recipes shit me right off. I had one these wanker burgers once, impossible to eat crap.

I'm so used to Europeans making fun of American food that I love how much this man appreciates burgers. Thank you for this video! ❤✌️
That just tells me that Europeans have generally never had American food. Some of the stuff I've had in Europe that was billed as "authentic" American was obviously made by people that have never eaten the real thing, or consulted someone that had.
What's "American" food?
2:35. The one thing that actually needed "more salt" were the tomatoes and he put no salt on them--hahaha. Why would you ever put salt on cheese? Gordon is a renowned chef and he knows a heck of a lot more than me on cooking, but I think he over-seasoned that burger and the butter was not needed.
I mean everything tastes better with butter plus it helps soften the onions and it helps with steaming the cheese after the lid comes on because og the moisture it provides. I will agree with you on the salt and pepper thing tho, wtf was he thinking
@@CizorHP I agree that everything tastes better with butter, but he put the butter in the pan to baste a HAMBURGER--hahaha. Put butter in to baste a STEAK. Gordon was basting chopped meat.....
@@jasonmistretta4295 To be fair, he probably made the burger patty from high grade beef himself. It probably *_was_* a steak.
This man puts Burger King and McDonalds to shame with that burger. No squashed or sat-on looking burger. This is the real deal.
Tried this and found that it could definitely use more salt and pepper. I made it again and salted the pepper and it was much better
Have you also tried seasoning the salt?
This one is too healthy to be called an American burger lmao.
"My buns are getting toasted thats gonna give them more crispness"💀
Ive been cooking my burgers for too long , gonna try this , with some good burgers I got from the butchers yesh
*Personal Tip:* If you plan on doing this with veggie patties try using “Gourmet Burger Seasoning” in addition to all the other seasonings. The spice blend along with the added “smoke flavor” in it really enhances the flavor
*2nd Personal Tip:* If you’re using something like butter-flavored coconut oil in the pan instead of real butter, I’ve found you can enhance the mouth feel of a veggie burger if you only add like 2/3 the amount of coconut oil and replace the rest with actual raw coconut butter.
*3rd Personal Tip:* IMO vegan cheese _(besides cream cheese)_ is usually pretty terrible and being on a burger doesn’t mask it. So use real cheese on that burger or none at all.
Thanks! :)
Yeah know one cares pal 👍

fresh cracked peppercorn, coriander seed, mustard seed, smoked paprika, onion, garlic. Now for the twist...30% Ground moose, 30% ground pork, 40% ground beef. Add in local wild herbs/plants For me Wild arugula Or Ramps And dad's add in - Livarot cheese from Normandy , And a toasted brioche bun - French Canadian Hamburger
I’ve noticed over the many years that I prefer smashed burger style over the gourmet style of burger.
This means two small golf ball sized Patties seared over very high heat where they are charred, homemade brioche buns toasted inside, a slice of American cheddar cheese on each patty and a mayo/katchup sauce mix.
If I’m going all out, I’ll add grilled onion.
No lettuce, no tomato. Keep the greens in a salad.
