As someone who plays competitively please let it crash. I’m tired of spending in the hundreds for a few cards since I didn’t start playing until set 3. If this was your investing strategy I’m sorry to say but their is better ways then a card game.
I really hope bandai reprints these sets like crazy, the only people it will negatively effect are scalpers and investors. Its a huge positive for all the players and non investor collectors, which make up the majority of the community.
Yeah that and then small businesses can actually get them and sell it. I really believe they hold back supply to let demand outpace it and let hype go rampant
New player here just purchased a whole saku deck (51 cards) . For a little over $300 usd as a ex Yugi and current mtg player the prices aren't all that bad ? This is a personal perspective of course
The problem is that Bandai isn’t only dealing with One Piece, they also deal with other TCG games (digimon, dragon ball and union arena). It’s very hard for them to focus on one piece due to this. Konami and Pokemon don’t have these problems cause they only focus on one TCG
You weren’t here for the Bandai sale alert for Digimon. That shiiitytt was chaotic xD I was laughing so hard. Anyways they will reprint old stuff. Op1 to op2 will have reprint version 2. While the rest will have reprints. That includes decks. Soooo yea
@@solpayne7698 again it was chaotic due to Covid. They had small allocations. Once everything got back to normal, Bandai started printing more and things started balancing out.
@@solpayne7698 Pokemon products will never skyrocket due to the big allocation numbers they have for there products. Even if they drop one of the best sets ever, it’ll still be hard. Pokémon has already dropped amazing sets after there market crashed but that didn’t do anything to the market due to the big amount of reprints Pokemon has been doing to counter the scalpers. Bandai will never do what Pokémon’s doing because Bandai doesn’t only focus on One Piece, they focus on 3 other card games as well. They can’t start doing big reprints because that’ll affect the other TCG games Bandai owns. There reprints will always be in small numbers and due to this the demand for one piece products will also be there because of the scalpers buying out all reprints and controlling the market.
Digimon was a whole different story. Digimon released during covid (when everything was on lockdown) and their allocation numbers were really low due to covid. Thats the reason why it was so hard to get Digimon products. Once things started to go back to normal, that’s when Digimon prints started getting back to normal and Bandai started hitting there targets on Digimon prints and that’s when Digimon products started dropping in price and everything started balancing. With One Piece Bandai as been printing A LOT. Op01 got so many reprints . Op04 had one of the biggest reprints and op05 is already on there 3rd wave reprint and still it’s so hard to find products and they’re always overpriced. Only way Bandai can turn this around is by printing like how Pokemon and konami does but the chances for this are very slim. Also another great example is op08. Pre orders dropped yesterday and most places already sold out and a lot of TCG sites had them listed higher then MSRP and people still bought them and it sold out. There are very slim chances for Bandai to reprint one piece like crazy.
Also let’s not forget, Pokemon and Konami only have to deal with one TCG game. Bandai is dealing with 4 TCG games. You got One Piece, dragon ball, Digimon and Union arena (which is coming out this year in English). They can’t focus on One Piece alone and keep reprinting. They have to focus on the other TCG games. That’s a big reason why OP05 first wave releases had such a small allocation because during the same time one of the other TCG games in Bandai had a big release for there sets and it slowed down OP05’s prints. Thats why it will be very hard for Bandai to print in big bulks.

It will don’t worry

That only means bandai focus that who can afford thier product. I mean they targeting those who can afford to buy a card for what ever the price.

i hope every price goes down even tho i had to pay 300+ for yellow kata and enel prices for new players are horrendous
"pokemon reprints are crazy" dude pokemon does not reprint, maybe you meant konami and wotc
God I hope it does, also battle spirits is their oldest game at 14 years of history
Just say it crash so I can buy more cards 😢😊
Pretty sure it was a mistranslation and thats it’s a reprint to fix the uta deck event promo situation, not a reprint for old sets.

@@ZKash I believe they will do the same. Right now OP is making them ritcher than Pokemon. Also, right now amazing time to pick up pokemon product

Bandai will reprint. You have no idea what happened when digimon first came out.
