It made my day when I got a notification that you had posted a new fishing trip! So great to see you out there catching again. I’m looking forward to many more of your videos. Salmon season is only a couple weeks away ip in my neck of the woods. I’m itching to get back out on the salt.
Yes, actually we have Woodinville address but are closer to Maltby. If you are ever up this way I’ll treat you to a homestyle breakfast at the famous Maltby Cafe.
Really glad to see you back on the water, King. Have been concerned over your absence. I enjoy your content and delivery style very much. My wife and I frequent Newport and really like the area having grown up on the south Oregon coast. Looking forward to more videos.
Another great trip Jerry, glad to see you back. I fished along the Jetties on 5/18, similar trip...did get a limit of blacks and one ling cod, but had to work for them. Seems like every trip is a new learning experience. For me it was this...check engine light on a Suzuki 15 hp doesn't mean there is anything wrong, just that it's time to change the oil (which I had already done). TH-cam is a great thing, got on my phone and found a video about that light and how to reset it, but it caused a 1/2 hour delay getting out of the boat basin🥶
Hey King Slew glad you got back safely. I'm glad you are on my new phone subscription. Looks like you're in Great shape brother! Enjoy the fresh lingcod!!!
Glad to see you back! I always enjoy watching your videos. That looks like a lot of fun I mostly fish the willamette and Colombia near Portland. But I’m tempted to learn how to cross the bar and head off shore do you have any tips or advice? Books I could read or recommend. Thanks for the video and have a blessed day.
Thanks! Sorry, I don't know of any books on the subject. You could start catching rides with some of the fishermen. On Ifish they advertise for riders. That might be a way to get started. Ride along and see what the various fishermen do. There's always TH-cam...
Nice to see your videos again, I've missed them! If you don't mind me asking what type of boat do you have and how long is it? Thank you for the videos! God bless
Glad to see you doing better and back out there Slew, picked a heck of a day for the comeback tour. Nonetheless, nice fish and look forward to the next video.
Thanks Dan! If you were watching that in Auto 360, which I'm sure you were, I apologise for the resolution. Because, while the Audio was sketchy due to the wind, the Video resolution was top drawer. I guess it takes time for TH-cam to resolve it...
Definitely looked like a day that I wouldn’t fair well 🤢 But good to see you back on the water Slew and glad you caught some fish. When is perch season up the bay?
@@johnbolton9957 I wish I knew, but I guess it takes a while for them to get the resolution squared away. This was filmed using two new Gopro cameras that cost me over a thousand bucks. I think the solution is to publish the Video as Private until they have it resolved and then go Public with it. Live and learn...
Thank you for the video! Very glad to see you back on the water. You’ve been missed.
Thanks!
Been looking for u king… glad to see u out fishing again.. love watching your videos 👍👍
Thanks Mark!

Nice work... gonna be great fish tacos
This is so awesome to see I live here in Newport, fish the jetty a lot
Thanks Andrew! The jetties hold a lot of fish...
I never seem to have any luck. Maybe one of these days we can meet up and maybe you can show newbie like me some gear to have some better success.
@@andrewsellers2041 Mooching rig, with whole or half herring, works good for lings from the jetty...
Thank you I will give it a try. Love the videos btw
Good to see your back at it,
Thanks John!

Great to see you back , tough day but a nice meal or three . Always fun to watch your videos .
Thanks Keith!
Nice you could finally get out. Got a couple of good meals there. Rough days are never as fun as the nicer days. You did ok though.
Thanks Earl!
I hope I can still get out there when I’m in my 80’s.😊
Thanks FishBustin!

Good to see you back and looking well. I'm worn out from watching you take a beating out there.
Thanks! I've got a good boat and I never take unnecessary chances...
Welcome back King, we missed you!
Thanks FishBustin!
Nice to see your videos again, I've missed them!
If you don't mind me asking what type of boat do you have and how long is it?
Thank you for the videos!
God bless
Thanks Eric! My little boat is an 18' 1989 Hewescraft SeaRunner that I converted into a center console. It's set up for one person...
I missed your videos. Glad you’re feeling better.
I’ll be waiting for your next video. You are an inspiration for us seniors.
Thanks Big Steve!
Glad you’re back 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks Todd!
You're back! So cool. I'm nowhere near Oregon but I do really look forward to your adventures.
Thanks FF...

Yeah, I did didn't I...(grin) Thanks!
It's good to see you again. Been missing you and wondering how your recovery went on that injured shoulder.
Thanks Glen! Shoulder has mended well. WIsh it had never happened, but it did. I heal fast...
I passed you on the way in as you were going out right at the entrance, I said to myself hey I think thats king, pretty windy for sure
I prefer NW wind to SW... better drift, better ride home...
It's great to see you back on the water "king" Yes looked like a snotty day.
Yes, it was a bit lumpy...(grin)
I'm days away brother from living the life. Enjoy yourself and that fresh lingcod.
Great news!
We love watching your videos. Good to see you back fishing. Maybe we could take you out fishing with us, sometime
Thanks Dawbie! I appreciate your interest...
I hope you have better conditions next time! So glad to see a new episode.

I was just happy to see the new release!
I’m from Newport and have my own gear if you ever need company haha
We talked to you on the long crabbing dock my gf ask about your camera.😊
Yeah, I remember. How you guys doing?
We are doing wonderful, she been trying to get into photography, what’s a good camera to start with?
Definitely looked like a day that I wouldn’t fair well 🤢 But good to see you back on the water Slew and glad you caught some fish. When is perch season up the bay?
Thanks Nick! Right now is a good time to chase those perch. Get an early start because the wind can kill the bite...
Good day with another wrong forecast !
Yeah, I was hoping for better...
Nice to see you healed up.and back on the water!!
Thanks John! Really sorry about the quality of the Premiere. Come back and watch later. I'm sure you will appreciate the difference...
