Testing Fujifilm's Brand New Film Recipe on Fuji XH2S

Testing Reala Ace film recipe with Photo (jpg) and video! This new recipe just came out with fujis new firmware update for the xh2s. This was all filmed in one night in san diego.
The video was lightly color graded with added halation. All photos were untouched. Straight out of camera.

Do you think Film Recipe's can be as good as RAW photos and LOG footage?

For photos it's great. For video, nothing beats flog2. But in a hurry, i think it could work!

Reala Ace is the only film sim I like as much as F-Log and F-Log 2. It's reactive, in a very musical way. I just use it at the photo native iso of 160 and keep everything at zero except for ISO NR which I dial -4. It's an extremely hifi, nice, reversal kind of look, more like actually shooting Provia on film than the Provia film sim in my opinion.
