Said it before, saying it again: any 47 to 50 Plymouth begs to be a Mad Max or 60's era Gasser. If I was a millionaire, I'd buy them all. Thank you, Mr. Goodpliers for the VIP tour, as always!
Seeing all those '57 Chevys brought back memories. In the late '70s I bought a 150 that had a V8 in it for $150 sold it for $350 I wish I had it now better than money in a savings account.
I just picked up two 1955 Chevys both of them were two doors the one had a 327 motor that was a post great shape inside & out the other one was Primer gray with no motor I picked up both cars for $550 dollars..Same guy had a 1964 Cadillac two-door White black interior black vinyl top he wanted $100 dollars.. the Cadillac was in pristine condition ran great.. I gave him the money he gave in the title I said I'll pick it up later this was two weeks ago..Deals are still out there..💰🇺🇸💰
That old oil well pumping steadily along in the back may help explain where the deceased owner of all this got the $$$ to acquire all of it. Even at "back in the day" pricing there was whole lot of stuff there.
Tube bender, lot of exhaust jobs to pay for that one. Still a good buy. The red C-30 dump truck nice sounding. The 72 K10, like the front push bars. The black 1957, not a bad price for a driver. Great auction.
The 57 Chevys four doors I don't even think they sold for what they would sell for and scrap weight. I hope somebody list them on eBay Craigslist they'll make a fortune off those cars. I'm sitting there counting parts for what I'm working on. The title hardtops hard to say but anything under $5,000 is probably a good deal. God be a reason why they barely broke $2,000 a piece. Hey thanks for showing the auctioneers trailer in the background. I'm going to get it on his website and his mailing list. Wonderful video you had a wonderful time and I wish I was there. I couldn't resist that play on words. But thank you for putting this video together and that Malibu back in the mid '80s to the mid-90s I was saying hey they are the up and coming cars. The market's only gotten better for them. Congratulations I didn't see a price on it but I'm sure you bought it right
Great video but that is an extremely mush mouth auctioneer and a trash sound system they are using. It reinforces why more and more auctions similar to this are going to online only (with in person preview).
Being from a rustbelt area, they all (mostly) seemed to be pretty good buys. Transportation costs keep them cheaper out there I know. Thanks for sharing.
@@mr.goodpliers6988 Hi! I did; thanks so much! I have a bunch of mail to open, but I wait until the fellas are here and film it all so we can share it... All the best from me and the Menace dog!
That CJ5 fiberglass body 1975 just made me happy what it sold for cuz I bought a 1974 all fiberglass CJ5 454 Chevy with a 4-speed for 1800 bucks same color but mine's going to be satin Orange with black accessories🤔
Hi, Thanks , I thought you would buy the nice 49 Plymouth for Joe and the rust ranch to sell to someone to fix up . These old 2 door sedans are very nice when fixed to look like old used cars . Hope it has a good future . Thanks
Wow I wish I could find any tri five chevys for those prices. Rusted out junk 4 doors are $3-5k and extremely hard to find where I’m at. Same goes for the 56 pickup
hey you can get hold of me im in texas .i have 10-55-57 cars for sale .4 56 2drht 2 57 2drht and 4 other real nice 56-57 2dr post cars .and tons of parts .a local auction in west, near waco just sold over a 100 55-57 chevys and tons of parts .the guy had 75 hoods for these cars and lots of rustfree clips .
Thoroughly enjoyed both related videos! I would have KILLED to be there!!! That Chevy truck with the camper top IMO was a steal at $2K. That gap can be remedied with time and torches. Both low-buck CJ's were total DEALS. Just sooo much eye-candy - that 3100 was definitely the belle of the ball and a helluva deal at $4.4K. I would've needed a fleet of trailers!!! Riveting review!
$7400 for the Tornado. Was it that nice? The Marlin. I never liked them. I think I would have been more interested in the 2 dr 49 Plymouth beside it for $250. Your Malibu buy is not bad. Of course cheaper would have been even better!
Thanks for sharing these videos Mr. Pliers. It's interesting to see what projects sell for in the mid west verses out here on the west coast. Do you know what that real nice 69 or 70 Honda CB750 sold for?
Enjoyed both walk around videos and the auction sale; prices were interesting and thanks for putting in so much time and effort 👌 One question for you, do you know how much the red Studebaker GT Hawk sold for? Just curious 🤔 Thanks again
Yes, bought by the junk man unfortunately. The car had sat long enough that the fuel tank had spoiled and killed the pump. They poured some gas in the throttle body, but not all cylinders fired. The car had only 50K miles on it. I thought about saving it, but it was too far from home with the known, and potential, repairs needed.
Not sure if its the same car but looks like that 66 Toronado or one just like it was recently wrecked in Scott City Ks. Turned it into an expensive parts car.
Unfortunately, the auction was split into two rings by the time they got to the bikes, and I was in the car parts ring while they were selling. I heard that the nice orange one was around $3500. I did run over just in time to catch the dirt bike sell for around $1000
Most everything sold would of broke the heart of the man who collected them knowing true values... sold so low, I just wish advertising of them would of been better as they gave most stuff away
those old c20 and c 30 farm trucks are just for farms .i never saw one at car show . it has been the same for over 40years i have been doing it .the cars worth money are gm from 64-72 .
The TBIs in 1991-later Caprices with roller cam were okay. I think I have yet to get a carb'd one that still turns. All of those so far have been locked up junk
Hi Mr. Goodpliers!🤠I had a "80" Malibu, 2 door like yours, 6cyl.(I think 🤔) with 11k mi. back in"83" and dark brown, beige interior, beige pinstripes, new Goodyear Whitehall tires and full chrome wheel covers ( hubcaps), all stock. Great car, tough to let it go.🥲♥️👍🙎♂️🦧🏣👨🏫📚🖊🏁🇺🇲🇮🇪👋🤓
Nice Collection of Cars and trucks

Great video and information! Thank you for sharing with us Tim!

Very good prices!!
Enjoyed your post sale review. I would love to attend sales like this one.
Great auction.
50 plymouth was the best deal I seen
Thanks for reading off the obituaries of the state of the sales.
Keep up the good videos!
66 charger is what I had and it is the same still as this rambler nice thanks BigAl California
I love that '49 Plymouth. $250 is a steal. I love 49-50 Plymouths. There not popular, and it's a shame. I would have bought it.

P/S that Buick Century was a steal of a deal.
Great video but that is an extremely mush mouth auctioneer and a trash sound system they are using. It reinforces why more and more auctions similar to this are going to online only (with in person preview).
Another cool video, cheers mate
Being from a rustbelt area, they all (mostly) seemed to be pretty good buys. Transportation costs keep them cheaper out there I know. Thanks for sharing.
Those two door ‘57s would go for 10 to 15 grand in Commiefornia. The four doors would go for five.
This is your best presented video and I've seen many of yours.this should be your new style
.good job!!
Fun! I do want one of those Toros one day... Glad you scooped something for yourself...Cheers from here!
There was such a great variety at this sale! Thanks for checking it out.
I mailed you a package on April Fool's. Have you received it yet?
@@mr.goodpliers6988 Hi! I did; thanks so much! I have a bunch of mail to open, but I wait until the fellas are here and film it all so we can share it... All the best from me and the Menace dog!
Thank you Mister GP
thats what I always want to have a car like that thoses prices that they are giving are great prices
Wow every single one of the c10's /c30's are worth double what they went for .
That CJ5 fiberglass body 1975 just made me happy what it sold for cuz I bought a 1974 all fiberglass CJ5 454 Chevy with a 4-speed for 1800 bucks same color but mine's going to be satin Orange with black accessories🤔
that beautiful 57 chevy would've cost in New Zealand dollars $26,159.00 so a 2 door would've been a whole lot more [great work]
Hi, Thanks , I thought you would buy the nice 49 Plymouth for Joe and the rust ranch to sell to someone to fix up . These old 2 door sedans are very nice when fixed to look like old used cars . Hope it has a good future . Thanks
I considered it. If they hadn't bid, I definitely would have. They seemed happy and enthusiastic over it!
Wow! Chevy 57 150-250 dollar! Dream❤ perfect!!
Nice prices for the 57 chev
Wow I wish I could find any tri five chevys for those prices. Rusted out junk 4 doors are $3-5k and extremely hard to find where I’m at. Same goes for the 56 pickup

Enjoyed content. Would of purchased either of the 57 2 doors.

'Lil carry deck crane had it's place back in the day, but those days were long ago
Loved that marlin, dirt cheap too
Whoa! A lot more money than sense wandering around that pasture.
$7400 for the Tornado. Was it that nice?
The Marlin. I never liked them. I think I would have been more interested in the 2 dr 49 Plymouth beside it for $250. Your Malibu buy is not bad. Of course cheaper would have been even better!
The 4400 ddollar chev was my favorite
These auctioneers who go " bubble bbibble bbibbleblsah blish blah blah " instead of calling the vids are hilarious!.
Thanks for sharing these videos Mr. Pliers. It's interesting to see what projects sell for in the mid west verses out here on the west coast. Do you know what that real nice 69 or 70 Honda CB750 sold for?
I heard it was close to $4000
Marlin went cheap best deal was the c20 4wd for 2K
I want the concession stand for XXXL t-shirts!
good pickup on the malibu. sir
Enjoyed both walk around videos and the auction sale; prices were interesting and thanks for putting in so much time and effort 👌
One question for you, do you know how much the red Studebaker GT Hawk sold for? Just curious 🤔
Thanks again
Just to let you know, the old 61 Caddy made it home just fine from Automobilia!
Great to hear!!
What was price on the Malibu?
wow, lots of ppl with deep pockets
The Grand Am only sold for $150
Yes, bought by the junk man unfortunately.
Was that very exact car 😪
Wow, looks like an aarp convention.
the 6 cylinders in those were trash. I wrecked my Dad's 4 door, smoked and gulped oil right off the bat. I knew you'd buy that thing
250$ wow lots of guys cutting those in half
I was hoping to see how much the motorcycles went for. Apparently you didn't put the selling price in your video.
Unfortunately, the auction was split into two rings by the time they got to the bikes, and I was in the car parts ring while they were selling.
I heard that the nice orange one was around $3500. I did run over just in time to catch the dirt bike sell for around $1000
What price did the 1965-1967 4door late model CORVAIR sedan sell for? Saw no coverage on either video. Bill
It was bought by the scrap man for $100 or $200. The car was very rough. Not too many useable parts left on it.
Thanks for the reply! Bill
The auctioneer sounds like if I tried it.
Do you happen to know what the lathe went for?
Way too much money for that 57 Chevy .😳
Disagree.
What did some of the other bikes sell for?
Top one (orange) was around $3500. Dirt bike was $1000. Unfortunately they had split to two rings to sell them, so I was not able to catch them.
what brand were the slicks? or were they recaps
Most everything sold would of broke the heart of the man who collected them knowing true values... sold so low, I just wish advertising of them would of been better as they gave most stuff away
Those 57 Chevy 2 doors must have been gutted for that price? Wow, that's cheap
Car's 💯 narrative 25%
those old c20 and c 30 farm trucks are just for farms .i never saw one at car show . it has been the same for over 40years i have been doing it .the cars worth money are gm from 64-72 .
The poor guy that had to hold the flag all day. If you can't keep up with the auctioneer and know what's being sold you better not be bidding.
👍👍👍
Yikes! Prices were a bit much or I'm a cheapo.
Who needs that junk? I got my own. Already rotting into the ground.
😎👍😎
Auctioneer needs to cut back on the peanut butter.
Worst I have heard!
Things selling for way too much considering

If you don't know anything about old cars why the comments?
Pontiac Grand Am is a forgotten jem. Loved those engines, easy maintenance.
the only thing GOOD about the 305 chev V-8, is that it will, inna pinch, make a useable boat anchor.....other than that, they are TOTAL JUNK.....
The TBIs in 1991-later Caprices with roller cam were okay. I think I have yet to get a carb'd one that still turns. All of those so far have been locked up junk
Manawi dimana
Auctioneer was hard to follow with the blubbery lips motions and noise between the called bids
Worst auctioneer I’ve ever heard, but great content for sale.
Was this a klan rally/ auction?
Cars and trucks went hogh
the flag guy had one job, but no interest in it
Large turnout.
cant half hear what the auctioneer is saying, lol

I will say the guy doing the auctioning and that blah blah blah real fast is stupid and not necessary.
Not impressed with auctioneer!
i have 10 55-57 chevys and cant get rid of them .there arent any body fixing them up nowadays.
👍👍
