I just got the same kit! I found it a lot easier to cut out the individual pieces and peel it as you move along the trim. I didn't need to trim and stretch as much, also I used a heat gun on the larger back piece.

Why do you regret it? Im guessing that the 11th gen will have a revised 1.5l
Plasti dipped mine. Came out great and so much easier

@@patriciasampier6705 just cleaned and wiped down with iso and then taped off and sprayed 6 or 7 light coats. About 7 minutes in between each coat. Also kept the can of plasti dip in a bowl of warm water as well.
The sport versions of the civic don’t have the chrome which was much appreciated.

Yeah, the Sport 2.0NA sedan doesn’t have chrome, as well as the Sport and Sport Touring Hatchback... SI chrome was always a head scratcher
Mine doesn’t, I have the sport hatch.
For some reason in Canada the sport trim doesn’t have the chrome bits on the window!
But man that wrap looks CLEAN AS HELLLL.

What I did. Super easy and looks great.
I used matte black plastidip over my chrome trim on my 9th Gen Accord and it looked great. You need to carefully peel away the parts surrounding the trim slowly otherwise if you pull back improperly, it will leave uneven spots where it will start to peel off. I finished off the plastidip with glossimer and it came out great. Just be careful when peeling away and wear a mask in an open air environment and lots of newspaper because that shit smells nasty.
I have the 2020 sport, and Fffffff I hate all the chrome.... I'll delete it soon enough

Good work dude. I see at least you are getting a more clear idea of what you want to do with your project. There is definitely some progress between the beginning and now. As far as I go, I plan to keep my SI stock till I pay it off, then prolly get a Stang GT. From what I've experienced with my SI, its a very quiet and reserved car, but also its deceivingly quick.

I tried doing a chrome delete twice and fail miserably, I finally gave up and paid a professional $150 to do it... looks amazing now. Matte finish for the win!

I did my chrome delete in satin black and blends in really well but that chrome looks clean!

My 3 cents.
1. Keep your current wheels. They r awesome. Save your money. Maybe buy some 20mm spacers though to make them flush. 2. Why not just dip your chrome. So easy! 3. I'd definitely buy a ticket. Do it!

Be carful on the ends of the film, where the small piece meets the big piece. They tend to peel up when washing your car
1st thing that i did after i bought my 10th gen si coupe was cover that chrome. its ugly.
Also just my opinion but I actually really like the stock wheels, and I don’t like the idea of changing out the seats since you lose some of what makes it the Si at that point. Def change the tires though that always makes a noticeable difference.
Im setting it up to be a good daily driver with a little more power, so losing the si seats doesnt bother me. The si was not made for the track, especially with the 1.5 liter engine. And with the wheels, it just draws so much attention on youtube, its doesnt even make sense. So i kinda have to do it if i want to set it uo to be something that hopefully several thousand people will buy raffle tickets for

I got a 19 Honda Civic 2.0liter sport, I want to make the car sound better just sound. Should I buy the prl cobra intake street or just get a whole exhaust new system for the car. What are you’re thoughts? I’m not expert on nodding cars so that’s why I’m asking not sure to spend $400 or just splash once for the exhaust.

Because they sell it in rolls that are 60 inches wide, so id have to buy like 8 feet long x 60 inches wide

As for the idea, I think it's a great one. Very reasonable too, as far as having enough entries and fees to cover your costs. It's a good idea for the channel, just have to make sure the channel has enough traction and viewership to get going. Even for non-Honda fans, a near-free car is a plus for anyone. Even if they don't like it, it's new and has decent resale value (well, maybe less than otherwise with the mods).

@@patriciasampier6705 oil level on dip stick would go above full line over time, plus it will smell like fuel. You also get a fuel smell in cabin.

But I also fancy myself one of the most loyal of your subjects, and I really have no idea what you should expect as far as random people buying in.
$25 seems like a good number to start. I’m guessing, if anything, you might want to aim lower and try to draw in more randos.
