For any and all of us who have ever competed in track and field at an even marginal level, the 4x4 is everyone’s favorite race, and it’s because of the number of times you see stuff like this happen
Remarkable victory for Femke Bol. One of the best moments of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Absolutely amazing from Bol.
Still lost finals against American women usa are by far the best. We leave the crumbs to rest😊😊😂😂 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
@@ciaran6309 Oh wow, you're not a sore loser at all, are you ? 🙂
@ciaran6309 @2millionlightyears

Yeah if you compare a country with 330 million inhabitants against a country with 18 million. If you however compensate the medals won at the olympics for population than the Dutvh did way better than the USA. The USA would need 275 gold medals to match it. But won 40.
@@ciaran6309 Really? The US got 127 medals for a country of 330 million people. That is 0.38 medals per million inhabitants. The Dutch team won 34 Medals with a population of 17.5 million inhabitants. That is 1.92 medals per million inhabitants (5x as many per million inhabitants!!)
Watched this countless times, one of the most scintillating Olympic performances ever. Staggering!
I've seen it 10x , and it still amazes
At last, at last. Denied the GOLD in the mixed relay in Hungary (2023 World Athletics Championships), this was her night to shine. Like the true champion that she is, she has RISEN to conquer all. That was an outstanding performance. This underlies why this may be the greatest Olympics we have ever seen. Femke Bol has stolen, STOLEN, the 4x4 GOLD for the Netherlands. What a finish.
yes the last 100m, is just unbelievable
Same here, just saw it again. Looks so unreal.
Femke Bol just doing the most Femke Bol thing ever.
Probably one of if not the best moment of 2024 olympics.
Spiff Sedrick
Rubbish she only second best to sydney mclaughlin
@@VegasRT500 completely untrue. USA's last runner was the 5th fastest ever in her country
Not even close. Only won the silver. Sydney breaking yet another WR and winning gold while dominating Bol and others far surpassed this feat.
@@Kobebok248 this was gold not silver lol. And nobody cares about McLaughlin
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 for me personally, this’s one of the best moments from Athletics in Paris 2024 besides Mondo broke the pole vault’s world record 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is historic olympics. One of the top 3 to ever golden medals on the olympics.
She made it look effortless.
Congrats
Genius defined...make the difficult look easy. She's pure athletic genius!!!
Femke looks like she is just jogging .. her athleticism is crazy
The long legs do that.
@ no not necessarily there’s plenty of long legs runners out there and often long legs can actually be a bit of a hindrance for running
Agreed, doesn't look like she was running that fast
My thoughts exactly. She turned it up a little at the end, but she was literally jogging in 4th place waiting to pounce.
Everyone is slowing down. Femke's running style is very smooth and efficient, takes less energy, so she's able to float from 200 to 300 meters, then keep the speed up in the last 100 while everyone else is "dying".
I'm not trying to take away from what she did. Femke is astonishing.
I've watched this numerous times and am just simply blown away with these athletes' ability . Then Miss Bol just blows by all of them . They have my utmost respect .
There is a story behind it....If I remember correctly 2 years before this Femke was the last runner of her team and she fell to the ground a few meters before the finish. She lost the staff so her team got disqualified while she was first before she felt to the ground. This is her comeback and that makes it special.
Yeah, no kidding. We all saw that video too. Thanks for nothing.
@@Robaatosensei ??
How did she have the energy to do that at the end. That was amazing
Ι΄m pretty sure that doped undoped she managed to unlock her mind. A very rare and amazing moment that few times athletes do experience in the course of their career.
She always does that. She always has a strong finishing spring in the last 100-50 meters.
3 REASONS: (1) She is the World Record Holder in the 400m and 500m indoor short track. (2) She is the World Title holder in the 400m Hurdles. No woman past or present owns more TOP 50 fastest times ever recorded over 400m Hurdles in official competitions. Bol owns: 20 of TOP 50, and 9 of TOP 20. (3.) "RED BULL GIVES YOU WINGS!". Just kidding on that 3rd one.
@@erichansen3641no woman past or present ??? Does Sydney M. Levrone no longer exist ?? Bol is aight , but she’s not in Sydney’s league, or haven’t you watched the sport and seen them race ?? SMH
Amazing strategist. Amazing athlete.
You won't witness many performances like this ever 😭
Pulling here for this girl and I'm from the USA! Great run!!
I watched the whole thing. The US team was one of the first to congratulate the Dutch winners.
Great sportsmanship.
Vernon Norwood (Team USA) is a Class Act, and a great athlete. Glad he got the WR and SILVER in the mixed relay at Paris and glad he got the GOLD in the men's 4x400m relay at Paris where he gave the recognition to Rai Benjamin for his anchor leg to hold the lead for USA.
That is true normally they are not that sportive
usually they are not...to be honest
That arrow above her made me finally understand what am i watching. Thanks !
Femke Bol !!! A athlete incredible, amazing, marvelous 🌻
I was one of the 75.000 lucky people who were there! We went absolutely crazy ("totaal uit ons dak"). It was a dream come true and it went even more incredible than we anticipated beforehand. Our little country the best nation on a mixed relay athletic competition and a stunning finish. Can it get any better?
It really bothers me when people lie about "being there" just to get some attention and a few likes. Those of us who already know the person in this account can tell that they're always posting the same message all over TH-cam videos that showcase sporting achievements. Pay no attention to this person.
For many people the best race of the Olympics!
Pace and timing perfection.
Femke, es ist einfach grandios, wie sie auf den letzten Metern an den anderen vorbeizieht, unfassbar!
Love it how the clearly American commentator only has an eye for the 2 SEC college athletes and kind of get surprised by the amazing talent of Femke Bol who easily takes home the Gold!
He’s focusing on the leaders at the time, as every commentator does. If Femke Bol was leading the pack the majority of the clip he would have given a little background on her instead. That’s kind of what they do.
I don’t see anything “clear”
What a run that was. Just amazing.
That was impressive! She saved the day...and then some. 😎👌
Dieses Video habe ich mir bestimmt schon 100 mal angesehen!
What a stunning and incredible effort! Just outstanding!
Love femke bol amazing love Lieke Klever too and i am a brit/irish
What a powerful Dutch woman 🎉
I'm a huge Femke Bol fan!
shes just amazing...love watching Femke, her form is amazing. Not too much body but plenty of leg movement.
Even her teammates were dumbfounded by that breathtaking finish. 😮
The most memorable moment I’ve seen in Olympics, it’s unbelievable what Femke did, from 4th to WR
Incredible final leg.
Recovering from over a full second behind to finishing within a couple hundreths of the world record is the stuff of legends!
I wouldn't have known her position without the gigantic 4TH hovering above her. Thank you Olympics
Best race ever seen.
She showed them ALL who is the best.
*_Não podemos esquecer do restante da equipe; foram eles (a) que deram os seus máximos para entregar a melhor posição possível para ela fazer história._* 🤔...
*Foi EMOCIONANTE !!!* 🥇👏👏👏...
What a fantastic kick!!
Wow! What a kick!
Bol is unstoppable. ❤
Stupid comment kyawkyaboljohnbol sydney mclaughlin destroyed het
Until she faces Sydney.
@Kobebok248 at least bol didn't chicken out for the relay. Got her one gold but likely lost her the other
@@diadorim273…exactly, and this is why Femke is my sentimental favourite athlete.🍀
Unstoppa-Bol
Great to see this on such a big stage. This will be inspiring to many young girl runners that think they can't do this because they never see anyone that looks like them winning at these distances.
Now that was a kick, well done lass.
Absolutely gorgeous
Absolutely spectacular win!
Now that was bloody impressive
Bol also went from 6th to 3rd in her 400h final, incredible indeed.
🤣🤣🤣 AND She destroyed your fancy American WR setting mixed Relay team with two of the best 400m runners in the US, and while missing the two fastest Dutch male runners due to injury... She destroyed them coming from 20 meters behind, overtaking your 2nd best 400m runner like a Schoolgirl, 😘
If Femke had run her leg in 48.8 or so you might say she just did what she always has done. But no, this leg was 47.93, Femke reached a new level and notwithstanding her run in 400mh final, her future will be very bright.
I'll never get tired of those 'shorts'
Absolutely nuts. Awesome job.
0:46 The moment she hits ‘Turbo’
It’s like the others were standing still at the end 😮
Running 400m all out is brutal. The last 150m is grit and determination because you are 100% out of gas.
Still watch this four months on❗️
[4 months!] Wonderful 🤗
What a finish!!
Her running is effortless... the leading American looked like she was making a 110% effort and Femke calmly sails past her
Amazing! What can you say. Really, this is over the top and so inspiring. All honor to Ms. Femke Bol. Now I shall watch this again, and send it to my friends. Doctor George Whitehead
Being only 0.02 second slower than world record, with not too fast teammates is unbelievable.
That was a lot of distance that Femke Bol made up to win!
That was amazing...chills
All hail FEMKE BOL!!!! Simply the best
Incredible performance.
That's really amazing.
So much ground that had to be covered. Wow.
It was the best moment in 204 Olympics femke bol was unstoppable
Femke da GOAT Bol... 💪🏾🔥👍🏾
Relay kick & 400m Indoors GOAT!
what a kick in the last 3rd
She didnt even go for it from the second she got the baton. She bided her time, didnt go for it til the back straight. Incredible.
She’s so great
The most incredible race I have seen since Dave waddle
You mean Dave Wottle, Munich 800 meters 1972 Olympics
Fantastic images. It's amazing to see what they can do.
Fantastic athlete
Truly amazing running
👍🇬🇧
Outstanding athlete.
0.02 seconds shy of breaking the world record, it would have been astounding if she achieved that as well! Unreal comeback though!! ♥️
Fantastic win!
A true Amazon 🎉🎉🎉
Incredible ❤❤❤
Legendary !
I would like to shake the hand of the person who made the decision to have Femke run the anchor leg.
That was amazing! ❤❤
GO Femke Unbelievable Run 🤣🤣♥♥♥♥
What an athlete 🙌🙌🙌🙌
That gap between 4th and 1st before the last turn was huge. Nobody would be expected to come first after the massive gap. This run is legendary
That was something else!
VERY impressive!!
Astonishing
Unbelievable! 🎉🎉
Just saying she will be by the end of her career maybe the greatest relay racer and the greatest hurdler in Europe ❤
She already is.
For now the 2nd (BY FAR) greatest IN THE WORLD. (just sayin)
@@rientsdijkstra4266 2nd best of all time even.
@@nahadoth2087 That is BS, nobody, not even you, can predict what is going to happen in the future. That is why I wrote 2nd best FOR NOW.
Femke Bol is the best #1 hurdler in the world and she has the titles to prove it and the times. Current: World Champion, European Champion, Dutch Champion, Wanda Diamond League Champion. All at the same time concurrently. No other woman in history owns more TOP 50 and TOP 20 fastest times ever recorded in the 400mH. Bol owns 20 of TOP 50 and 9 of TOP 20. No other woman in history has won both the 400mH and 400m flat/open in the same major championship. Bol did it at the 2022 Munich European Athletics Championships and also took GOLD as the anchor of the women's 4x400m relay. No other woman in history has concurrently held both the World Title for 400mH and 400m indoor at the same time. Bol is the current WR holder in the: 300mH, 400m indoor, and 500m indoor.
Klaver's reaction says it all.
Dutch team is amazing. Go girls!❤💪
And she won every 400H after Oly. 32 races this year, now that's an athlete that SHOWS UP unlike our USA athletes
The 400m finishing straight is tough.
She's a beast
Nothing makes you look better than people who do not know how to pace themselves. The first place runner gets the award for the fastest first 100 m in a 400 m race.
i was like, oh that must be like a 5k run. weird, didnt know there are team runs with each run being that long. then i watched the other runners and realized its super fast.
Stunning victory
They Laughed....
The crowd actually laughed..
Yaroslava Mahuchikh (Highjump), Mondo Duplantis (Pole Vault), Keely Hodkinson (800m), Femke Bol (Mixed Relay), all the best highlights from Paris 2024
That commentator sounded so underwhelmed at the end lol 😂
There is another video of this same race with 3 other announcers. It is way more exciting.
0:38 It would be helpful if an arrow were displayed here to indicate that she is third, as it is not very clear now.
