👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 for me personally, this’s one of the best moments from Athletics in Paris 2024 besides Mondo broke the pole vault’s world record 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️
@ciaran6309 @2millionlightyears 27 minuten geleden Yeah if you compare a country with 330 million inhabitants against a country with 18 million. If you however compensate the medals won at the olympics for population than the Dutvh did way better than the USA. The USA would need 275 gold medals to match it. But won 40.
@@ciaran6309 Really? The US got 127 medals for a country of 330 million people. That is 0.38 medals per million inhabitants. The Dutch team won 34 Medals with a population of 17.5 million inhabitants. That is 1.92 medals per million inhabitants (5x as many per million inhabitants!!)
I was one of the 75.000 lucky people who were there! We went absolutely crazy ("totaal uit ons dak"). It was a dream come true and it went even more incredible than we anticipated beforehand. Our little country the best nation on a mixed relay athletic competition and a stunning finish. Can it get any better?
Ι΄m pretty sure that doped undoped she managed to unlock her mind. A very rare and amazing moment that few times athletes do experience in the course of their career.
For any and all of us who have ever competed in track and field at an even marginal level, the 4x4 is everyone’s favorite race, and it’s because of the number of times you see stuff like this happen
The USA and GB (and often Jamaica) keep building their tournament and race strategies to contest each other. The Dutch often profit from this oversight.
Great to see this on such a big stage. This will be inspiring to many young girl runners that think they can't do this because they never see anyone that looks like them winning at these distances.
There is a story behind it....If I remember correctly 2 years before this Femke was the last runner of her team and she fell to the ground a few meters before the finish. She lost the staff so her team got disqualified while she was first before she felt to the ground. This is her comeback and that makes it special.
*_Não podemos esquecer do restante da equipe; foram eles (a) que deram os seus máximos para entregar a melhor posição possível para ela fazer história._* 🤔... *Foi EMOCIONANTE !!!* 🥇👏👏👏...
Amazing! What can you say. Really, this is over the top and so inspiring. All honor to Ms. Femke Bol. Now I shall watch this again, and send it to my friends. Doctor George Whitehead
If Femke had run her leg in 48.8 or so you might say she just did what she always has done. But no, this leg was 47.93, Femke reached a new level and notwithstanding her run in 400mh final, her future will be very bright.
i was like, oh that must be like a 5k run. weird, didnt know there are team runs with each run being that long. then i watched the other runners and realized its super fast.
Haha yes you have to love the American commentator talking about the two US college girls up front and not noticing or acknowledging Femke until they turn into the straight.
Nothing makes you look better than people who do not know how to pace themselves. The first place runner gets the award for the fastest first 100 m in a 400 m race.
2 things: 1.) She spent her "special cartridges" in this race (and got a spectacular *gold* , also for her team and her country... ), while McLaughlin rested, 2.) she thought she could force it against mcLaughlin in the hurdles final, which of course was a mistake...
I've seen it 10x , and it still amazes
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 for me personally, this’s one of the best moments from Athletics in Paris 2024 besides Mondo broke the pole vault’s world record 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️
Probably one of if not the best moment of 2024 olympics.
Spiff Sedrick
Rubbish she only second best to sydney mclaughlin
@@VegasRT500 completely untrue. USA's last runner was the 5th fastest ever in her country
Not even close. Only won the silver. Sydney breaking yet another WR and winning gold while dominating Bol and others far surpassed this feat.
@@Kobebok248 this was gold not silver lol. And nobody cares about McLaughlin
She made it look effortless.
Congrats
Remarkable victory for Femke Bol. One of the best moments of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Absolutely amazing from Bol.
Still lost finals against American women usa are by far the best. We leave the crumbs to rest😊😊😂😂 🇺🇸 🇺🇸

How did she have the energy to do that at the end. That was amazing
Ι΄m pretty sure that doped undoped she managed to unlock her mind. A very rare and amazing moment that few times athletes do experience in the course of their career.
She always does that. She always has a strong finishing spring in the last 100-50 meters.
Femke looks like she is just jogging .. her athleticism is crazy
The long legs do that.
@ no not necessarily there’s plenty of long legs runners out there and often long legs can actually be a bit of a hindrance for running
Amazing strategist. Amazing athlete.
Bol is unstoppable. ❤
Stupid comment kyawkyaboljohnbol sydney mclaughlin destroyed het
Until she faces Sydney.
@Kobebok248 at least bol didn't chicken out for the relay. Got her one gold but likely lost her the other
@@diadorim273…exactly, and this is why Femke is my sentimental favourite athlete.🍀
Unstoppa-Bol
Femke Bol !!! A athlete incredible, amazing, marvelous 🌻
For many people the best race of the Olympics!
That arrow above her made me finally understand what am i watching. Thanks !
Wow! What a kick!
What a fantastic kick!!

It was the best moment in 204 Olympics femke bol was unstoppable
It’s like the others were standing still at the end 😮
Running 400m all out is brutal. The last 150m is grit and determination because you are 100% out of gas.
Yaroslava Mahuchikh (Highjump), Mondo Duplantis (Pole Vault), Keely Hodkinson (800m), Femke Bol (Mixed Relay), all the best highlights from Paris 2024
Absolutely spectacular win!
Femke Bol just doing the most Femke Bol thing ever.
Pace and timing perfection.
The USA and GB (and often Jamaica) keep building their tournament and race strategies to contest each other.

Best race ever seen.

The most incredible race I have seen since Dave waddle
Once she hit her stride she kept gaining. Impressive young woman athlete.

Astonishing
You mean from 4th to 1st in half a lap ....
Just saying she will be by the end of her career maybe the greatest relay racer and the greatest hurdler in Europe ❤
She already is.
For now the 2nd (BY FAR) greatest IN THE WORLD. (just sayin)

Why this channel is not uploading full video of this race.
Its second short video on this channel
That was something else!
0.02 seconds shy of breaking the world record, it would have been astounding if she achieved that as well! Unreal comeback though!! ♥️
I watched the whole thing. The US team was one of the first to congratulate the Dutch winners.
Great sportsmanship.
incredible run
Kipyegon completing 3peat on 1500M will still standout. Proud team Kenya 🇰🇪
Obviously American announcers. They didn't seem too thrilled that Bol won. 😂😂😂
Haha yes you have to love the American commentator talking about the two US college girls up front and not noticing or acknowledging Femke until they turn into the straight.
Real Americans were happy that someone like Femke Bol won.
And she won every 400H after Oly. 32 races this year, now that's an athlete that SHOWS UP unlike our USA athletes
I don't know how to watching this spectacular performance. People are really endowed.
Bloody brilliant 😯👍
SO AWESOME

She could destroy all records, but she holds back too much, and only gives her best at the end of the races.
She just bide her time 😊
Her running is effortless... the leading American looked like she was making a 110% effort and Femke calmly sails past her

The American race-caller ignoring everyone but the American runners until the last 100 and calls it's an "upset" lol.
