It's been said that the way to make a fortune during the Californian Gold Rush, was to sell shovels. That's what the likes of Amazon did. Supplying the tools for online buyers and online sellers to connect with each other. Making and selling shovels isn't fun or glamorous. People don't dream of making shovels. But it does fuel people's dreams.
@@stevo728822 you're absolutely spot on! Shopify are doing exactly that now by offering hosting for the ecommerce boom. But you're right, people want to find the gold, but the real money is selling shovels
I've invented a product which i think has many USPs compared to the market but I'm struggling to redefine it to be manufacturable at a price point people can afford. Really hard to take your baby which is far superior and dumb it down. I also don't think i know enough to actually do the business side. I'm anti capitalism, anti profit, physically disabled and poor. I can't see my business starting without a partner or at least a mentor. Did you have anyone like that help you?
Sorry for the slow reply! I've never had a partner in my business and have done everything on my own, even to this day. I've worked with mentors in the past but always found the cost to be too expensive and hard to justify so never stuck to it. Bare in mind, you do need to be for profit, but that profit doesn't need to come from an angle of personal gain, but the business does need a profit to operate, evolve and continue to support it's customers. So don't fear profit like it's a problem, but it actually opens doors to allow you to create more and solve the problems of even more people. If you need a hand, shoot me an email at Contact@Murgs.co.uk and I'll be happy to advise the best I can.

@@Johns_busy the way you described a perspective on profit made more sense to me than any other. Thank you.
