Spent half an hour lying on the ground trying to figure out what was wrong with my plug. Watched this video and fixed it in 5 seconds. What an idiot. Thanks for posting this 👍
Brilliant. Thanks for your help. I was at a loose end till I sat your video.
You're a life saver! Thanks!
Thank you mate. You made my day. 👍
Hitching up yesterday and socket would not go in (had been a bit iffy a couple of trips prior - rant/rave/roar for 20 mins - deep breath - review situation and could see collar and case are 2 pcs search including YT and here we are. To be fair screwdrivers did not budge it but inserting and twisting in the truck socket and good to go - silicone spray once back at yard and review hitching up in future and maybe get the tool if next trip out is still sticking - thanks for helps and heads up
You saved my a... :-)
Whats the solution if the car fitting moves out of alignment ?
Unfortunately, this means your socket is broken. The inner part of the socket has come away from the outer, and will need replacing.
@@GTTowing67 you were spot on.
I replaced that and the actual bracket that holds the socket in place too.
it was really poorly made and rusted away
