The only thing she put top hose on the back and a go's on the front of the strut

Torque is applied to the nut not the head of the bolt

I rim flew off my car a couple months back due to my lug nut bolts stripping. Got everything replaced but the strut on the driver side where it came off . Whenever I brake fast my car sways to the right side a little bit . What could that be ? Everything looks good on the knuckle so I’m guessing it’s the strut

Do you need to replace the sway bar link when replacing the struts ? A mechanic told me to buy them but he didn’t even look at my car.. is he just trying to get me for more money ? (I was going to do the work myself anyway, just wanted a expert opinion)
