I'd love to see a comparison between the Taylormade DHY and the Adams DHY hybrid/driving iron. It seems they really took a lot of the concepts from the old Adams club for this one, and I wonder how much difference the new tech makes!
Given the same ball, shaft and length, and loft I'd bet solid money you won't see much difference. May be a little hotter on the TM version but not noticeable on the course.
I still have 3 of the Adams DHy Pro. Got the 18, 21, and 24 with Aldila Tour Blues. Great clubs. Everything that's old is new again. Wish TM would come out with the Adams CMBs or a12 Pros. Heel/toe notch weighting works so great for MOI. Loved it on my old Nike NDS irons too.

I don’t quite understand who this club is for. The Taylor made sim max 4 iron is already ready 19 degrees. I can carry that club 260 if I really try and murder the ball. Surely Alex could get it to almost 300. So who are these “utility irons” marketed to?
Alex could you do a comparison of the sim max irons and these near utility irons in similar lofts. In my other comment I stated the 4 iron is already 19 degrees.
@@dannyfree1120 My 2 iron is a P790 UDI, it's great. It's a lot more forgiving than one might think. I would say if you suck at hybrids or don't like them (both of which apply to me) then try these, and also try the p790 UDI. See which one you like the best

The shape reminds me a lot of the old TM progressives, or the Browning 440s. The long irons were so easy to hit.
