I went from the 790 UDI to the stealth DHY both into degree and absolutely love the stealth. Both used primarily as a driving iron off the T but the stealth has that extra forgiveness and for me the ball flight is very similar.
I played yesterday, typically when I play alone I play full bag vs. irons only. I hit a perfect drive with my Vice Pro ball, SIM2 head with 65 ACCRA shaft right down the middle and then proceeded to hit a perfect shot with a Stealth UDI 3 iron about 4 yards short of it.
Thanks guy for the interesting review, but I will stick with my trusty G10 7 wood....I don't think I will ever replace it even with another 7 wood , but interested to see what Chris's new 7 wood will be and then if he has any regrets.
Oddly I tried the the stealth udi, dhy, and the p790 udi and the stealth models felt terrible to me and the p790 felt amazing. But that might also come down to the fact that I hate hitting fairway woods and hybrids. Sadly tho the p790 udi is never in stock anywhere and they have to custom order them. Which in my area is like a 6 week back order.
How does that 225 compare with your other clubs? I can hit my 19degree hybrid 210 and I have a 3 wood that is 240-250 but super inconsistent. Need something that will get me 225-240. Does that match your game?
@@reddymi I was also hitting a Sim2 3 wood around 250 on a good hit, but again super inconsistent, so I sold it. This is my first year back playing after a 15 year break, so still early days building the bag.
That’s a good guess John! But don’t worry we’ve already sat her down for the first verbal warning after this terrible mistake today 😂! Hopefully she bucks her ideas up 😅

Currently bagged the udi 2 iron and absolute bullet stingers off the tee and turf. Replaced the 3 wood I had
i struggle hitting 5-iron or lower irons. Have 7-wood, 4 hybrid and 5 hybrid instead. Feel more confident with these clubs than equivalent irons.

7-heaven... Dustin Johnson's new setup is now Driver, 3W, 7W, 9W and then 3i-PW (although he says he often skips the 3i)...
However they are monstrosities. N’est-ce pas?

I have started to play a M2 3h off the tee. It has totally transformed my game, averaging 225yards but 9/10 fairways hit.
