That was a great stream, I was lurking around through most of it, but I saw some of the great moments too. Like Shane and Jon winning though their screens were black. Great stuff.
I thought that was Toasty and Jon, not Shane and Jon.
Mario Party 4 gets a lot of flack, but it will always hold a special place in my heart. I used to play it all the time with one of my best friends, who sadly passed away in 2019. Even just hearing the music at the beginning of this video brings back memories of going over to his house and playing on his GameCube in the basement.
I mean it's still a fun game, whether you think it's one of the best of the first 8 or the absolute worst, the one thing we can all agree on is that it's better than Super and just like people can have fun with that game, people can have fun with any of the first 8 (and surprisingly even 9 & 10)

@@BlaizeTheDragon I was talking about the ones with traditional board play as their main mode. But yah Advance and 9 are the only ones that I'd feel like a complete waste of time (10 at least had better maps that didn't make you lose half your ministars every 5 rolls making most of the game meaningless and more importantly Bowser Party is pretty fun)
I put them in tier lists of (S: top of the era, A: other favorites , B: fun with friends, C: Some redeeming qualities, D: Waste of Time, (no f-tier but there is a n/a tier like e-reader). 3/6 are S, 8 is top of A, 4 is bottom of B, Super is middle of C, and Advance is in D.

Mario Party 4, 5, 6, and 7 have the best layout, atmosphere, music, nostalgia, etc. Super Mario Party was a step in the right direction, but it would be amazing if we got a remaster of old MP games

6 is better than 7, because 7 has the stupid bowser time every 5 turns. 7 is a much better game if you mod out bowser though.

PBG arguing about who gets to be Luigi is giving me flashbacks to my own childhood. we would literally get into fist fights.
Somehow a lot of people don't get that in the minigame Cheep Cheep Sweep you have to sneak up on the Cheep Cheeps so they don't swim away from you and you can hold the A Button and spin the Control Stick to hold your net in the water and spin around with it.
I was happy to see ProtonJon there!
they know that they dont scare away the cheep cheep if they move slowly? and i think you can hold the button to keep the net in the water, you cant move while doing that, but you can spin around, in case you barly missed a cheep cheep or when one is behind you
