ME TOO OMFG I WAS SO SURPRISED it wasn't my first but i was obsessed with it. I remember i was mad cuz i couldnt get a 3ds game cuz i only had a dsi so my parents were like u like mlp right and they got me that game and i was obsessed lmaoooo

I grew up with that generation and i always loved Minty and Sunny Daze
It was definitely a very round and 'huggable' style. As a little kid I always wanted to reach through the screen and snuggle the ponies.
I couldn't agree more - The Princess Promenade and A Very Minty Christmas were some of my favorite childhood movies, so Minty and Wisteria both hold a very special place in my heart. I think out of all my old toys, the only pony I have actively kept is my G3 Minty.

Man do the sound effects for old computer games just take me back in time. Like, seriously I get trapped in flashbacks. They reused so many sounds back then obviously so whenever I hear them I think of games I used to play like Fatty Bear's birthday surprise, Blue Clues, Jumpstart, etc I also played the heck out of the 101 dalmatian game and barbie games. I miss playing those games. I still got them in a disc case somewhere, but I played them so much back then they are scratched or cracked.

I absolutely LOVE how Peebs used the “Oh It’s You” song from A Hat In Time in the video, I love that song.
I was a huge MLP G3 fan, I loved the animated home media content, dolls, and characters. I played this game at one point and even as a kid who loved MLP, it felt boring to me. The pixel artwork is pretty cute though and the overall cute colorful environment is quite nice to look at. (I think that was intentional for the girly theme just to get young lasses to play these console games)

Well I looked it up (Which I admittedly didn't wanna do) but apparently StarSong is a Pegasus pony that was first aired during a commercial and is (from what I found) only really affiliated with commercials and merchandise and has nothing to do with the actual show

Pinkie Pie's Party is the only Goodwill Game from the entire series that I've actually played before. But only because a kid at a school my mom used to work at (I'd sometimes stop by) stole all my games and swapped her DS for mine without removing this game from it. But jokes on her, I deleted all her save files on it (I'm not joking, I actually did that)! XD
Edit: Don't worry though, I got my games back before she did anything to them.

Ah, MLP G3, the generation I grew up with. Pinkie Pie's Party seems to be from G3.5 when Hasbro decided they were going to focus on only 7 ponies and 7 ponies only.

The music in that MLP game does sound quite nostalgic, it also sounds behind its time (2008) as it sounds like 80s synths, Sega Genesis Music and GBA music (since GBA and DS use the same hardware). I wasn't expecting many games in 2008 to have music like that, I like it.

the youtube tv app was glitched on my living room tv for like a month so that any time i opened the app it played the beginning of this video's audio. I'd always open it and it would be like "Hey everyone! You're looking very sweet today chat :)" EVERY DAY FOR A MONTH

The Putt Putt balloon game uses the same spring sound as bungee jumping in Battle for Bikini Bottom. It’s kind of jarring, to be honest.

I actually got a fantastic collection of games from '93 to about '98 a few years ago. Sim Tower, Quake 2 and an expansion, Descent I and II, Lego Island, Diablo and C&C Tiberian Sun. I figure someone must have cleaned out an old home office from 1999 or so.

I grew up loving gen 3. Like. Adoring it. I had that one Christmas special on dvd and some episodes on vhs… Sunny Daze, Minty, and Rainbow Dash were my favorite. I think I had a birthday episode where everyone made charms with… idk, that purple one who had three yellow ornaments as a cutie mark.
