As a principian your concept is good… however, you need to find a better way to educate more yourself… You have a lovely mountain that you can take a good advance of. God gave us a lot of materials to build. I understand that you don’t want to hurt nature… but there ways to build… look up how our brothers from Egypt built those lovely house of clay and mud… look up how can you take the advantage of building underground house using your same method but instead of being near the stream that can take over your house you should build it around 4000 feet away from the stream… if there may come a flood you and your house will not survive. Read about flooding issues, about mud and clay building materials and how to use it and how to use it between the rocks… how to well lay out your foundation… you need a well set up foundation so the walls of your house resist the climate and everything with it.
That shelter you built is a temporary shelter but you need to build a shelter that can last for many years to come. You can even build a door from mud and clay just you need few tools for cutting, for install and for carry. There are many areas you can check to find albust or small to put on the roof. There in your area should be palm trees that has big dry leave that you can use for roofing… but honestly you have a lot to do… good luck in your sheltering experience keep us posted ❤🥰
