They're popping all these pills into my mouth all i wanna do is get the hell out they say "yo man you ain't looking your best. we've all diagnosed that you're depressed" they're popping all these pills into my mouth all i wanna do is get the hell out are you suicidal? are you hearing voices? what can you do when you've got no choices? depression. that's what's wrong with me hopeless. pain is all i see all because i'm screwed up mentally they wanna lock the door and throw away the key jail of depression my life's over and done i fought my mind and my mind won jail of depression
so much of todays hardcore"streetstyle, beatdown" comes from this era of hardcore although it was not called beatdown but todays bands need to recognize that this band helped usher in the tough,hip-hop like hardcore street sound,it didnt just fall out of the sky,i was there, breakdown is my era,i witnessed there sound and style being morphed by the up and coming "beatdown" style that we hear today in some hardcore bands..fuckin love Breakdown, true, streetstyle hardcore
I would also add that this music did a heck of a ton influencing the “bounce” rhythms inherent to nu metal (which are really hyper fast funk rhythms with less busy hi hat work)
umm well. crumbsuckers mocked their fans possibly - because few guys went on to form pro-pain the band, and they had mixed message about anti-current political stance, then , pro governemnt on the downlow, and then mockery. so think bout it . and their orange album. think bout it. desert sands. hippie shit anyone ?
