what the fuck are you talking about oompah oompah? If it weren't for bands like discharge, negative approach, YDI and bad brains you wouldn't have cro mags, in fact without early Discharge you wouldn't have the harsh and dark sound coming into american hardcore, and that was all music made by spikey punks, you probably have like heard some of the shittier orange county bands like descendants, there is a lot about the early 80's that punk denying hardcore don't know anything about, a lot of the really extreme sounds in music did not come from metal like dumb hardcore jocks think.
@@johncasarino5627 YDI , VOID, NIHILISTICS, URBAN WASTE, GOVERNMENT ISSUE!! Respect the roots. But alotta of the “hardcore punk” now is watered down bullshit and singing/whining about the same ol bullshit… I guess you could say that about heavier hardcore. Denied NYHC hasn't been active since roughly the mid 00's. Occasionally I've seen a shirt or two pop up in merch swap chats, but you're better off making your own shirt to rep them.
@@Dawidignat I think he means the original lossless wavs. The files you get from download sites are converted to wavs from the TH-cam audio as a source, and it won't be as good as you can't put information back that isn't there.
A lot of hardcore, including beatdown, is really more about the grooves and heaviness that form the tension and release of the song, not so much the melody and chord progressions. Its all about building up the energy and then hitting you with a huge, heavy riff. You're supposed to dance to it or just immerse yourself in the groove and heaviness of it, not sit and analyse the music theory and song structures. It's a different style of song writing than more melodic based music. If you listen to more and more bands like this you start to notice and appreciate the different styles each bands has even if they all tend to play minor/chromatic chug riffs.

I came here when I researched tabs for the band Control Denied, and now i found this gem
that snare is so important
Fucking snare tone is perfect.
The lazy snare is epic man those slightly late hits are perfect and rare.
the best type of beatdown imo. hard as nails and they weren't trying as hard as the newer bands.
