So glad to hear a reviewer give “To Sir Phillip, With Love” the kudos it deserves. It’s definitely my favourite of the Bridgerton series and I definitely don’t understand why it gets such a bad wrap. Great job!
Julia was my intro to historicals and I enjoyed her books because they were simple and light and introduced the whole genre to me, I have read around 90% of her books
OMG that’s great!!!! Congratulations 🎊🎉🍾🎊. I’ve never read her books 📚. But I’m going to start reading her very first book “Spendid”. I just got “The Duke and I” just recently!! My Mom’s favorites were Mary Balogh and Julia Quinn.
When you said lisa Kleyas that was it for me.i have read all her books was hooked when I read IT HAPPENNED ONE AUTUMN. went through the wall flowers series. The ravenels. The Harthaways. The Travises. And the rest
I loved the first season of Bridgerton, so I jumped into the books immediately. Colin and Penelope’s story was my least favorite. I loved Colin in all the other books and the show, but found him to be very obnoxious in his own story. 1/5 Francesca’s was my absolute favorite. Although the miscarriage in the beginning did trigger a panic attack. 😞 5/5 Daphne’s would be a 3/5, all of the others are solid 4/5s.
Wow, I love your opinion about the book series!!! I’m currently reading Eloise’s story and so far I’m enjoying it. I agree with Collins story, he had so much temper 💀 and at the beginning I was bored but got hooked after the first 5 chapters. Even though personally I enjoyed their story towards the end.
Eloise’s story is my favorite too but I don’t know if it’s just me but doesn’t Eloise also reminds you of her aunt Billy Bridgeton those two have a mind of their own and can’t really stand still. ☺️
I would bet its not unpopular, especially the third and the second , the first one i felt like the characters like always have depth, but a lot of misogyny involved, like a lot, but still enjoyable. The fourth had no sexual tension, it didn’t really have a main problem that needs overcoming therefore wasn’t the best. Honestly a lot of her books r ruined by certain ideas and how she depects certain make characters, not all, but some I thought really didn’t need to be that - well- “overprotective and possessive “ like it was too much, im talking abt one character called jhon is her second ever book, first ever series, the book was called dancing at midnight, it still has character depth tho- a lot, i still think there were skme improvements that could have been made. Every now and then tho- she comes up with smth like “the other miss bridgerton” “when he was wicked “ im telling you these two are the best books in all series, I reread the other miss bridgerton. I hope she writes more books like this
I’ve listened to every one of Julia Quinn’s books on audible and I adore her books. Rosalyn Landor’s narration is sheer genius! I would be hard pressed to pick a favourite series as they are wonderful but Penelope’s story may be one of my favourites in the Bridgeton books. I began to read her very first series recently and it was really interesting to see how her writing has grown. I love her wit and humour and how it has developed over time but had to stop reading the second book in her first series when there was a violent scene which I didn’t expect - her books have always been a safe, funny and heartwarming place for me so I just let that one go. Anyone sensitive may want to avoid that one too. Still I adore all her other books and especially the recent. Have recently discovered Tessa Dare. Such a funny writer too! I saw the Cavendish book as a bit of an experiment in point of view and it would have been interesting if the two books were in one. (I wondered if it was an editor’s decision to make it two books or because of a publishing deadline.) I’ve really enjoyed it in the past when there have been fun stories from numerous books crossing over in the same scene (a la Symthe Smith musicale) and to wonderful effect. 📚💖
Ps love all the Danbury and smeith smith connections, I’ve also decided to read all of the books, starting on Easter Sunday 2022 finished the last of the novellas last weekend. 36 books + the comic. :) I agree with a lot of what your saying here and just started reading Lisa K so I’ll have to check out your vids on her books next.
I did a JQ read through too, but urgh Mr Cavendish I presume is a 1 star. Far too much repetition between the lost Duke. I love ten things and the smythe smith 1-3 but 4 throws me off.....
hello a quick question as someone who knows all her books please tell me that the main couple in each book is an adult when they engage in intimate actions. I don't want to start a bookn and then have to drop it . I'll be happy if I get a reply. thank you.

Eloise’s story is my favorite too but I don’t know if it’s just me but doesn’t Eloise also reminds you of her aunt Billy Bridgeton those two have a mind of their own and can’t really stand still. ☺️
Unpopular opinion: The Roxby books are better than the bridgerton books.
YES! Me too! I loved all 4

I agree on the girl with the make believe husband well done 👌🏾🌷
edward and cecilia! one of my favorites. i really like the next one, too, with andrew and poppy.
LACEY!!!
I love jack
Everything under the sun, isn’t the hero here also in minx? I was certain he was the same man interested in Henry.

This is very impressive!!
Thank you! It took me way longer than I expected 😂

So are all the book part of the same universe like the MCU or something?

I'll be happy if I get a reply. thank you.
I gave The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever a 1 star review too 🤢 The hero was NOT it and the heroine was a total doormat.
Bruh same it was kinda pathetic how she was so desperate for him to love her and ughh
you finished all her books in just 3 months?! hdkdhxk mine took me at least 6 months 😂.
