Just an FYI - Iris is not Honoria's sister, she's her cousin. As are the little girls that Anne takes care of. They are Sarah's little sisters. Honoria is the youngest of 5 siblings and the only remaining unwed female in her family as they are much older than her.
Just like heaven is my absolute favorite.. Reread it.. Loved it all the same.. And true marcus is my favorite book boyfriend...honoria is very cute too..love them both. And also it's written very nicely and the scenes are simple yet swoon worthy .
The Sum of All Kisses is my favorite Julia Quinn book and for me The Smythe-Smith Quartet series is my favorite of hers (yes, above the Bridgerton series).
I loved the Smythe-Smith Quartet series, almost as much as I loved the Bridgeton novels. Yes….I even have a soft spot for Sir Richard! Whilst I liked all four of the stories, Julia Quinn seems to get lambasted every time she switches it up a bit and brings some tougher themes into her books. I’m not saying Sir Richard started the book acting honourably towards Iris, quite the contrary! But he was a desperate man employing desperate measures to protect his family the only way he knew how. I really liked the way it all worked out in the end, with Iris being integral to solving the perplexing issues, just not in the way anyone imagined. Yes, Sir Richard was damned lucky she was bright, resilient, loving and ultimately forgiving! This was a departure from the usual path tread by Julia Quinn, and I love her all the more for taking the risk. (It brings to mind “To Sir Phillip, With Love” in the Bridgeton series; another of her works which is often unfairly maligned!) ❤
I love how u say oh you can choose which one youd like to read and here am I if it has the name of julia quinn I will buy it. I am only reading the smythe-smith series now because books are hella expensive but that is fine I am at least finally reading it.
The sum of all kisses is my absolute favourite Julia Quinn novel. Have you read Minx, I also liked that one. Great video. I completely agree with your rant because Iris was such a great character it was a shame to see her hurt like that.
Which order should I read all the books I had decided reading the Bridgerton‘s first. But I don’t know if I should read the prequels before I read violet’s story.
Richard and his sisters were just HORRIBLE! Iris deserved so much better. The book was mostly tragic and the poor girl was just trapped in a bad marriage
