My name is My View My Opinion (MVMO) & I am a Podcaster, on TH-cam. Due to safety concerns on the internet, I do not share my personal information anymore and I ask that others respect this. Also, I'm against the cult of personality & the promotion of self. I have no desire to "make a name" for myself. That's odd in this day & time I know, because most strive for this. Too many folks make themselves the center of attention instead of helping others first & allowing the information they share to be the focus of folks attention. Many crave applause, acceptance, & "fans & followers". I believe in letting the information take center stage.

My TH-cam channel is host to my podcast. However, I do make on camera appearances from time to time & have many times in the past- as this is how my channel started, with me on camera talking about whatever. And for those who always ask, yes, I am a black woman, LOL!!!!

HE’S the only one without sin
My only issue is when I was a member at OCBF ( former now) , Dr Evans read a letter to the congregation about excommunicating an assistant pastor and he specifically called out the sin (homosexuality) to us. Now he wants to keep his si vague. I wish the best for him but that double standard kinda rubs me the wrong way.
God is cleaning house.....all of us need to be repentant of anything in our lives that isn't pleasing to God.
Tony Evans sermons on marriage. Single-handedly turned my marriage around when this story broke I could not sleep. I was so melancholy it's like who do we turn to? There's no one and I honestly feel like this is by design. All idols are being broken down until we all focus on the one true God that's all I can come up with. I just pray that God is raising up for others
There is no such thing as old sin. There’s just unrepentant sin and repented sin.
God has a way of humbling us all.
I have lived in Dallas for 21 yrs & never heard anything but good abt Pastor Evans so I’m shocked. Prayers up to everyone involved.

This is a 74yrs old man , who wore various masks for years in God’s ministry for over 40 + years and needs to come clean and clear. We are all sinners save by God’s grace. Dr. Evans, you need to accept God’s discipline and be transparent or else…Be ready for His wrath.
I stop listening to Tony Evans when he wasn't transparent about who he was voting for in 2020 but telling everyone else what to do. Something so simple as that I knew something in the milk wasn't clean. He's trying to get ahead of the story. RIP Ms.Evans she was an awesome woman of God. Her main concern before she died was how people would view God if HE didn't heal her the way people thought HE should and she didn't want people to loose their faith.

I went to OCBF a few times with an ex who was a member, many many years ago. In order for him to become a member, he said he and others had to stand in front of the congregation so that if any one knew anything bad about him and/or the others, they could inform the church. Looks like Pastor Evans didn't follow his own rules. That's called hypocrisy. This person I dated was always talking about what Pastor said the Bible says. I asked he once if he ever read his own Bible for himself or was if only what Pastor says. I had to discontinue the relationship because I felt his mind could easily be influenced and manipulated because he had this person high up on a pedestal. Pastor Evans was not known at that time to have done anything improper. I know you just don't worship any other human. If you do, disappointment may follow.
Not shocked at all, because I don't follow any man here on earth. I follow Christ and Him only. I stopped listening to Pastor Tony Evans years ago, don't know why, but I just had no interest in his sermons anymore, like most of the mega-ministers, my spirit is just not intouched with them. But as a man, I feel it, whatever he has done or doing, I pray for him and his family and congregation for healing. People stop praising these pastors, they are just mortal men and women. God bless.
You are right,I am seeing alot of pastors that respect longevity and success that Evans has had,and are allowing that to override the morality and integrity that was supposed to be upheld by a man in his position.We shouldn’t play favorites.We want answers from Jakes,and so why shouldn’t we want answers from Evans?

I only have 2 questions, why now? And did he confess whatever it is to his deceased wife and his current wife?
He didn't come forth of his own accord or he would've done it long before the "out of the blue" reveal now.
Church folks always want to say “we just need to pray and mind your business!” Well we WERE minding our business and praying until HE Tony Evans wrote that long letter and mentioned “old sins!” THEN our business became what was put out and now the people need to know the whole truth and nothing else!🤷🏾♀️

Right now is the first time that I have heard anything about this. It's a shame that I can't say that I'm shocked. I don't put nothing pass anybody in these last and evil days. Even the righteous are being easily deceived by the lures of Satan's devices.

This video was well put together. All the questions are valid. He does need to come forth in transparency. While this is unrelated, I think about the church was tight lipped about Ravi Zachariah until he died. His reputation was able to remain in tact until he left this earth. We can't continue to coddle secretacy.

Tony's statement was calculated to diminish the seriousness of the sin while admitting nothing. It also laid out a now well-worn scheme for a senior pastor to step aside for a short period of "restoration" while maintaining control of his church. A man of integrity would simply resign. Also, nothing in Tony's statement addressed the Urban Alternative ministry that pays him $385k a year and has over $32 million in assets.

9:14 Bingo! There are 2 pretty well-known male 'Theology TH-camrs' who have already said, in their own words, "It's nobody else's business! People are just nosey!" Both of these TH-camrs have some dark things in their pasts--not to say they haven't changed--but clearly, they pick and choose who they want to condemn.
8:12 - This hypothesis actually makes sense. As the recession turns into the Great Depression 2.0, whoever this person is, they are likely feeling financial strain. I suspect it is someone within or related to someone within the church.
A key indicator I've observed is that whenever Carla is mentioned during the service by her husband, Dr. Evans, she deliberately stands up (every time) and starts doing an unnecessary "pageant wave." The late Mrs. Lois would never have done such a thing.

Completely disappointed in his lack of transparency. I thought he was a stand up man of God, especially when he presented his new wife in a seemingly honorable way. These people like to play with God. The church doesn't want to lose all that money.
I agree with the commentary...on a separate note, I had to look up Lois Evans online. It feels like she was this woman who had wisdom and aura of peace around her. Like the kind of older woman you'd like as a friend. ....

I once belonged to a “ministry” where the pastor exhibited very controlling, manipulative behavior. For example, he controlled who/when you could date/marry but then ended up getting a divorce from his wife and saying that he didn’t really believe in marriage. I think a lot of churches are abusive and the dysfunction always starts with the leadership.

I've met charismatic Pastors and Musicians in person trying to say Hello....Tony Evans included that were not very nice in person😢

What? What right thing did he do? He was forced, after MULTIPLE meetings with the elders, to sit down. Which means he didn't want to do the right thing. When someone has to be forced to do the right thing, we don't give them credit for 'doing the right thing'.

Depending on the articles of his 501C3 and his policies, he made not hold the majority ruling vote. Which means, the decision to disclose may not be his alone.

This is the most suspenseful fallen from grace ordeal i have ever seen in my life. His statement is causing more confusion & speculation. I expected better from him. I still think he is a Great teacher and preacher.. but this isn't going away. He needed to get more ahead of it and come all the way clean. I feel myself bracing for the worst.

Dr. Evans owes those faithful members an answer. It is better to tell your story before the story is told for you. I know a Pastor that has been divorced from his wife for 2 years. It has never been announced to the congregation nor an explanation for her absence explained. I really don't understand these leaders. I am praying for all parties involved especially the church family. Dr. Evans and his leadership are playing a dangerous game. They are gambling with Dr. Evans legacy and I think this is a bet they are going to lose.

The truth always come out! He contaminated 20 sheep in his own church. Carla was the 1 out of 20 that he married. God has warned Leaders over a decade to come out of sin! Tony Evans has been preaching and teaching false doctrine since his inception as a religious leader. Being a false prophet is the worst sin any believer can commit and when you knowingly continue to deceive God’s people, your sins will find you out and manifest for all to see that your heart is evil. We must continue to pray for all those who are lost and desire to find and know the way. 🙏🏾💙
