I know this sounds crazy but to wash hats and visors, put them on the top rack of your dishwasher. Sounds crazy but it works. I have never had one discolor or fall apart. It works great. I always have the drying heater turned off.
I saw a few things I liked there. There is a couple different churches here that have Free days once in a while. One has it just before Christmas where parents can come and get stuff for kids for Christmas. We helped them set up one year. It sure helps low income families. Love the shell and teddy bears shirts.
Had a great day. You are certainly fair in all your dealings and you are just asking that in return. I love it when you speak up on a topic b/c most of the time it is something we all are thinking. Have a great day, have a sausage for me.
I wish you would have gotten that flapper hat. You would look adorable in it. I love the bookends. And I want a candy corn or two like your son that chair! I LOVE IT❣️ Love your channel. The only way I can get out and junk. So fun though.
I appreciate that you didn't take things just because they were free, especially since the idea is to give poor people a chance to get things they need but can't afford.
Members Only jackets is a good brand it is a nice color too.... Nice harvesters design cuo and ceramic blueberry candle holder.... Thank you for sharing:)
My church has a free sale once a year. We don’t sell anything. It’s a nice way to clean closets and get rid of extras and hopefully help a few families in the process 🌹
London fog coats. I wore those in the 90s. They were vintage old men’s coats. That what I used to call them! Almost 50 now. I am old now! Would like to have seen digging for some vintage clothes.
Church rummage sales are fun. It's ironic for because I find temptation to buy a lot of things for me, myself and I...temptation right there in God's house. 😁 But at the all free day, I like to go and find blankets and towels for the homeless people. Thanks for sharing your selection of nice items.
I have several sets of those sailing vessel bookends...in different style ships...some are cast iron, others are bronze. Have six of the larger doorstop ships as well.
You have great reserve , so many things you looked at I would have gotten , Really like the trivet you passed on . The first thing I thought when you got the mug was good for candy corn and pumpkins , guess great minds do think a like .
@@PaperandMoose I found the tutorial online! it’s really fun actually! The dyes from the fabrics print onto the eggshells and they just look so cool! This will be our third year of making them that way and I can’t wait! I’ve been collecting interesting neckties here and there all year for it! Lol 🙂
I went to Goodwill today. I found one item I wanted. The lady behind me had a cart full of clothes and purses. I said I don't go to Goodwill unless I donate a bag or a box. Tina
Hi, yes free is the best. I like when I see a woman wearing a vintage coat with a man's name on it. I think the Cathay tea cups (too large for saki) may be from Cathay airlines. Bookends are a great find as well. Tfs
Love your videos. I use to work at Target in Bethlehem on airport rd. I lived in Allentown. Love catching glimpses of back east. In MT now. Happy picking!
That Target is always packed! During the holiday season, forget about trying to get in and out of that parking lot. Hope that you are enjoying Montana!
The blueberry basket...I have one on my stove right now. My mom bought it for me and herself one...also a strawberry one. Came from QVC and has a big candle insert (came with 2 of them)...smells great!
@@PaperandMoose homeworx by harry slatkin blueberry basket on ebay for $12 w/o candle in holder....came with 2 candles in holders, qvc on ebay like this $37 retail $44....
The red handled tableware was bakelite handles. Collectable! Some places that you donate clothing to bale it up to sell to places like India who recycles the fibers for threads to make cloth to make other items.
Hi! The Harry Slatkin candle is sold on QVC for $25 or something like that. He used to design lovely candles for Bath and Body Works. I love that brand of candles!
Just wear the jacket with Harry on it as it is. It’s cool. Or give it to a guy named Harry or sell it to a guy named Harry🤷♀️❤️ There’s a Harry that wants it.
I'm surprised you passed on some really nice items that were worth good resale value! That flatware set and the frosted cake stand for example. You could have potentially made some money had you grabbed them.
Love the Harry jacket! That was my dad's name. I would leave the patch on. When I was in high school all the guys had Member's Only jackets. Free! That's awesome! It sounds unheard of actually. I'm in the 4th largest city in the country and have only ever heard of one church having a rummage sale and I'm sure they wouldn't have given everything left over away. It seems like you live in a great place. ☺
The 3 bears shirt... In Holland we have got the golden books. I think (maybe I am wrong) that's a illustration from one of the golden books. Love from Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Did you have the whole place to yourself? I would have thought it be packed with everyone grabbing and jostling. I like to grab now, think about it later. lol
If it’s an iron on patch, put a hot iron on it, be careful not to burn it. You should be able to iron it until it won’t stick anymore. Then you can put your moose over it. It shouldn’t be too hard to replace the elastic on the Phillies hat, a clothing alteration place might do it for a reasonable price.
I used to have a cool, blue uniform shirt with a name patch and I loved it. I really liked having the name on it. Harry is a cool name. I love those bookends. Tea, not sake, cups. I love the huge piece of candy corn on the chair behind you. heehee I'd be happy to help with any research.
@@PaperandMoose Please tell me did you not notice the dishes @6:13? They are worth quite a bit. I was yelling grab the dishes, NO WAIT GO BACK YOU GOTTA GO BACK THEIR WORTH GOOD MONEY LOL LOL LOL
I like to go at the end of the day to get craft items. Broken games, puzzles, old ribbon and yarn are fun. Tina
Members Only, 1980's big time. You're adorable!
I think that name patch - Harry - makes that jacket 👍

That's a great idea! I'm sure that this church will donate what remains to a local charity so others can enjoy the items.
Those dragon cups I would use them for nuts or trail mix. I like that size for snacks. Also could be used for Jello or pudding.
Wow!! Wish our local churches would offer a free day! I wish you would have taken that cute flapper hat! That would look darling on you!
My husband worked for General Electric for 38 years, he had patches just like that on his uniform clothes that he wore to work, his name was Harry.
I watched this once, and this second time I see PaM putting down bakelite-handled cutlery, a copper trivet, the Daytona shirt etc and AGGGGHHHHHHHH!
Hats come out beautifully clean when washed on top shelf of dishwasher. Great video...
fun video -- my favorite item was at 10:13 and the cream colored vintage crochet hat you left behind...
Stay Safe... Hugs...

That Harry work jacket is great 👍, I would leave Harry on it, those are hard to find, good job, & it was FREE that is the best
members only jackets fetch good money they sell between 30 to 50 $ each for ones in good shape.
MEMBERS ONLY!!! ALL THE COOL GUYS WOULD WEAR THEM 1/2 ZIPPED...THEY WERE IN HIGH DEMAND IN MID. 1970s-1980s DISCO ERA!
Nice looking over your shoulders. Lots of things. You did well. My husband was watching and loves your rock wall. ~ Texas
FREE, we always like free! Good start for your Etsy shop. I am sure it is a difficult decision what to list.
You are getting to be a favorite of mine. So many cool things and I love your comments. Thanks so much. Lots of fun and for FREE!!

Please can you ask your church if they are willing to help me out with some of the closest for the poor and homelessness kids!
Members Only is a good company. They made nice jackets.I'm glad you picked up those two jackets...
I saw a lady make a skirt from old ties it was so quirky and neat. Steve's Jacket was grey. love the video.
I can't imagine how that would look if I attempted to make a skirt from ties... disaster! Hahah. I can see how it would look pretty great though!

I picked up a vintage Saddle shaped bag from Dior from a free yard sale at a church. One of my best finds.
All that free stuff. Wow I saw all kinds of things I loved. I’d become an instant hoarder I’m afraid.
Pam, Thank You for all the work you do! Cali. 🐾❣
So nice they offer items for free rather then throw it away.
Kay DeFreese,
Never thought of that, but it’s still better THAN going to the landfill.
hopefylly doesnt end up in goodwill

Your house is beautiful! I'm originally from Lancaster, PA and I recognize the style. :)
I'm dying over all the free clothes. OMG.
Oh my goodness. Never heard of a Free day. Here in Texas it would’ve been Wall to Wall people. Crazy it’s so quiet.
FREE!!!!!!! Congrats on the shop
That’s so cool!! I would have loved a free sale
You showed great restraint.
Put the had in the dishwasher on the top shelf will come out great
I love the t-shirt "we can do it". Wonderful that they give items for free instead of through it away. Your Harry jacket is cool.
Members only jackets are from the 80’s. Very popular back then. Black was the most popular color.
Toss the leather jacket in a warm dryer with the Gain sheets. Just until it warms slightly then put your petroleum on it. Like new.
Thank you for the tip!
We actually use neckties (silk ones) to dye our Easter eggs! They turn out so cool!
Never heard of using neckties for that, how interesting!

Renee, you are the coolest. Keep on being you.
Shopping free is great.
Clorox bleach pens work well on things like the visor. You can bleach only the white part without it bleaching out the colors on the visor.

Why aren’t there more people there! I would be!
I use to live in Kansas City & now live in Albuquerque. In both places, there would be so many people you couldn't see the items!
The blue jumper and the motorbike white tee was pretty cool
The Harry jacket , with some artistry... you could paint the rr-s into pp-s and be Happy! Glad you got the members only jackets!
The red handled tableware was bakelite handles. Collectable! Some places that you donate clothing to bale it up to sell to places like India who recycles the fibers for threads to make cloth to make other items.
Wow those Bakelite forks Woulda jumped in my hands!
I thought that too! She could have sold them.
I was shocked she put them back!
Looked like plain plastic to me.
Danielle Fry they were modern reproductions
They did look like Bakelite, but they were just a cheaper version. They didn't have the usual weight that bakelite does.
Do be careful. Most enjoyable thank you x
That was Franciscan Desert Rose at 6:21. Free is the best price!
I caught that one too!
ME TOO. I WAS WTH.???? LOL LOL LOL DOES SHE NOT KNOW WHAT SHE JUST PASSED BY??
I'm glad you took the Harry jacket !
I would leave Harry on the jacket lol. Makes for good convos and then youd have Harry traveling with you.
I would also!!
Yep I agree
I was going to say that too!
Nice items for free. Glad you saved the mug.
It seemed quiet, did not many people know about it? It must be fun digging around in what’s left. 🤗
They had a sign outside saying "Free Rummage". I was there in the afternoon, so perhaps more people stopped by earlier in the morning.
But still nice. You picked out some good things. 😃
Hi! The Harry Slatkin candle is sold on QVC for $25 or something like that. He used to design lovely candles for Bath and Body Works. I love that brand of candles!
I would have grabbed that beautiful tile! lol
Members Only was hot stuff in the 80's.
Still $25-ish on ebay
Salto Del Puma 4:00. Members Only is a jacket. Very Popular in the 80’s.
It had a comeback in the 2000's, but prices for retail are actually are low now.
Glen Talbot I was thinking the same thing!! Seen that Jacket and brought back memories 🤣😂 I guess they still sell them too! Just not that style!
My stepdad used to work for Bethlehem Steel for many years in Massachusetts before it was Raytheon.
The blueberry ceramic had a three or four wick candle in it that burned down. But it is adorable for decoration even without the candle.
Love that blueberry canister too
Leave Harry on ! It would be a hoot! Make up some funny history!😃
I so was thinking that
Cool finds
Just wear the jacket with Harry on it as it is. It’s cool. Or give it to a guy named Harry or sell it to a guy named Harry🤷♀️❤️ There’s a Harry that wants it.
Happy Easter
It was so quiet. In my area people would have been there like the Bumpass's dogs on Thanksgiving day in A Christmas Story!
I was at a book sale this past weekend and whatever was left was free on the last day....found lots of vintage books.
How nice! I always seem to miss the book sales, I have to be on the lookout for them more!
Members only!!
Use a hot iron to loosen the glue on the name patch. I would put an old cloth on top of patch, just in case the glue or threads melt.
I thought the red baker lite cutlery for one was really nice x

I put hats in the washer & they come out okay.

Love to been there for the free stuff
How fun to get for free. I would be first in line. You would look cute in the flabber hat.
