I recommend a Startup tss more fast pace Especially if it's tech or SASS and you'll learn more skills than just design, you will most likely do more outside design.
@@JeremyMuradesign Thanks for the reply! I'm currently working remotely in a real estate startup, but I'm the Marketing team of one, no benefits, overworked, and underpaid, unfortunately. I'm looking for a pivot, not just to earn more but to also grow my soft skills and connections. So you think joining an agency would be a downgrade from what I'm currently doing? I feel so trapped because I was friends with the CEO first before he became my boss. No contract formed, he literally said he's "letting me do my thing." I've asked for a new contract and clear deliverables and still nothing. I've definitely gained different skills from doing different multimedia projects, but not being compensated properly hurts my soul. I know my skills and abilities are worth more. They know that, too.
@@belshares Working remotely is great though that's a benefit in itself. Don't mix work and pleasure, regardless if you're mates you have to get results. But if you are feeling low then change is a good thing but you might have to work just as hard in an agency etc. You have to be more upfront with whoever the decision maker is, like be persistent and keep asking on what you want. How much more value have you added the company can you show it in numbers or something else? Right now the market is rough for some folks, tech layoffs, AI, lots of designers looking for jobs etc. Why not do freelancing in the off hours or weekends? Or do some passion projects to get that creative fire going?
Love your work! You are really talented!
Thank you!
This is very helpful as I am updating my portfolio !!! Thanks Jeremy ;-)

Great mn! How did you do that cool effect of that line showing the before and after?
The stroke I added a gradient on a stroke with 2 black points at the ends and then 2 coloured ones on the middle

Do you recommend working with a digital marketing agency when you’re just starting or work with startup businesses?
