Best advice ever, focus on design thinking rather than software knowledge, that’s why I follow you and I try to learn and practice more.

Exactly! Because a lot of designers are missing the essence of design gradually and focusing on secondary issues… design thinking is what differentiate a pro designer from a rookie one… softwares are tools to bring that thinking to life and that is it.

@@enahabel157 But i still feel like having a good grasp of the software will help trigger that creative idea to life. Being very familiar with the tool births creativity in a way, i think.

This is my graphic design university channel. This my favorite graphic design mentor has empirical and de facto knowledge. I was thinking the professional skill I acquired from a graphic design training center was enough until I met Satori Graphics. I can boldly say that I'm a graphic designer because Tom took me from zero to pro in graphic design through his TH-cam free courses. Thank you for helping me to go to the graphic design school through you. I couldn't afford the design school but you did that on my behalf. It means the world to me.

Hey Satoori I have a question ⁉️ I have learnt design and its principles (+elements) very well in two years period. Now I am being offered a job as DESIGN HEAD at a company. Should I take it ( I have no experience with client and proejcts yet) or should I work on personal branding and posting content as designer on social media platforms to get clients as fresher.....❓

kudos to your career thus far.
I haven't seen your portfolio, the company who are hiring you, or what basis they hired you on. If they have seen your work and concluded that you are right for the job, then why not? It will be a learning experience if nothing else, and you have nothing to lose in taking it.

If you got a job as a design head, it means that you have a really good portfolio. Many times in life, we are not always ready for that big leap forward. Sometimes you have to learn on the job. But this is just my opinion.
You should certianl pray to God and ask His will about it.

The advice about purpose always was tricky for me. I always thought that if I only added things that only serve a purpose, I'd just make a colored background with some words on it, because technically, a graphic design doesn't need anything else, right? I doubt I can think about this that deeply.

the content of the video is valuable to me as always. i just have one request, the speed of the music used in the background contrasts with the calm tone of your voice. the sound in the background was quite distracting and i felt like i had to hurry. music that matches the calmness of your voice may be more harmonious
