Great review as usual. I am seriously looking at adding a DSP to my system and looking at the options. I am in love with the Helix ones but there is nobody near me to install and set it up. I can do the basics but would love someone to tune it properly. Peter at PS is 4hrs away from me! Keep 'em coming!
@@RAW-CAt unfortunately not. I'm in Norfolk 😞 Hopefully, if I'm a good boy, I'll be able to take some time out to make the trip. Keep the videos coming. It's distracting me from everything else going on in the world 😁
I got the Nakamichi DSP installed finally. I’ve been spending a bit of time tuning by ear and I think it’s pretty good so far. I did have to add a ground loop isolator, but other than that I think it is going to do well for my daily driver.
i have the DP-X10b and it works fine. I just run high level from my android headunit to the dsp and it sound great. Even with the bluetooth directly to the dsp no distorion. maybe the one that you have has an issue.
How much did you test that 4channel built-in amp? Is it stable to 2ohms? Just thinking about getting this amplifier to my wifes daily, and utilise the amplifier to drive front door 2way speakers and underseat midbass speakers.
Just got the DP-x10 for my brothers truck, hopefully it doesn’t have this issue. Especially because the 16 channel model is sitting in my cart waiting for when I finish my wife’s car. My first DSP the Dayton dsp-408 had a very similar issue and it was awful and inconsistent.
If you get the chance to buy or are offered a Pioneer DEQ-S1000A2, I think this would fit perfectly in to compare against your other budget tests. £148 on Amazon currently with mixed reviews. My mate bought one who was going to go for a Helix M Four DSP, he is happy with the sound for his fronts. Sounds a lot better than the stock headunit. Not good enough for me of course but seems like a good budget option. I think perhaps the RCA output for subwoofer is quite low… maybe. He has 2x JL 12W0v3s on an M One X.
DP-X10 is only suitable for analog/height level inputs. Optical input is horrible as well. For example when using a OEM head unit. And real retail price of this hardware is less than $120.
@@RAW-CAtI've bought an x12 for 318 euro, which is a steal. 6*45W class AB + 120W class D. Hertz EBX F25.5 flat sub with pasdive radiator. This system makes you feel like you can fly

The low rca voltage is a killer, cranking up gains and subsequent noise floors wasn't ideal :/

what dsp would you recommand if i mostly rely on low level input as a source ?
How many channels do you need and what is your budget?
2 for front components 2 to the rear and sub
Budget is 250-350 euro
Pregunta siempre está encendido el dsp?
So it has a build in amp, can you dsp tune the 4x speaker outputs too or do you have to have an external amp ?
You can process both, the RCA outputs and the high level.
cool equaliser bars on dash... where did you get it?
AliExpress for £20

Will this DSP make a noticeable difference in a 8.1 channel (oem + aftermarket sub) car with an android HU with built in DSP?
It depends on your goals. Factory 8.1 system is very different from single seat tune.
Thats one big Reeses Peanut Butter cup, lol. Its a really cool looking sub.
That's funny! I was thinking the exact same thing
I read this comment and was like "great. another youtuber showing us his lunch" but then I saw it! Not what I was expecting hahah 😂
Did you ever get the 4 channel amp to work? And can you set a HFP on the high level output ?
The amp works fine, I just couldn't measure it without a certain probe. Now I can, but don't have the DSP.

No, these BLT chips don't like 2ohm loads.

How did it go?
GREETINGS. Do you have something for this Seventour P48E Car DSP
Nope
what bluetooth lac did you use ?
From AliExpress, there is a video about it

You’ll see the screen better if you take off the protective film
As an asian, we are not allowed to
have you found out how to use the high level output ?
Unfortunately after the initial testing this DSP went to the owner, as it's not mine.
6:37 sounds like Aphex Twin, lol
more like venetian snares
Oh man..but even at 150 pounds you're never gonna be able to unhear the sh#%t, as you so eloquently described the controler 😂

так точно)
Don't judge Sennuopu based on dp x10. X11 and especially 12 are significantly better. X10 has clipping on optical input. X11 doesnt
Not judging the brand. Just this specific model. As in the title and the thumbnail.
@@RAW-CAtthere's a russian guy on youtube, who measured x10 x11 and x12. Results: x10 is junk, x11 ok, x12 has great amp with 112 db SNR
