I love seeing cards that have Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl interacting or working together. It shows character and how they are towards each other. I’d love to see like a short anime of them training and fighting together.

Ridiculous how the West wanted it sensored but were fine with kids watching shows with guns and violence in them! Never understood it personally but at least these days creators refuse to censor and companies won't force them because they won't make money if they do sensor. Seems like it's the other way around now tho where we get uncensored versions and the creators have to sensor for local audiences instead

I understand that showing cleavage and stuff isn't for kids to see but neither is watching people fighting and using violence so it's the double standard I never got. Even as a kid I didn't understand how I could watch hours of Dragon Ball Z, where they literally fight to the death but theyd sensor Bulma bending over or something as ridiculous. Just weird how normalised violence was tbh. Not saying it's bad to do so, Dragon Ball Z helped me through tough times as a kid and I'll always have a fondness for it but at least be consistent with what is okay for children and what isnt. I'm just glad these days, anime in general isn't as weird or taboo because now people of all ages can enjoy a show as it was intended without unnecessary censorship. But YuGiOh had it rough with the 4Kidz dub anyway. Such a shame because I watched the Japnese dub fairly recently (a couple years ago) and it was much better. Usually I'm a dubbed watcher if there is a dub but YuGiOh is insufferable to watch dubbed and is like a totally different story.

My Favorite card is Dark Magician Girl & for a VERY special reason. That was my mom's favorite duel monster & we always watched Yu-Gi-Oh together & having Dark Magician Girl a lv. 6 monster & my mom's birthday being October 6th couldn't have been a coincidence. My mom passed away 13 years ago so having Dark Magician Girl in a frame with a picture of my mom & myself makes me feel she's still with me, plus I still watch the original Yu-Gi-Oh on her birthday, Mother's Day, & the anniversary of her death in her memory. When I get married I'm going to try & convince my fiancee to have a dark magician & dark magician girl figure in place of a bride & groom so this way it'll be like my mom is at my wedding

My personal favorite archetype in the game! While I get how it isn't exactly meta rn, I always loved it due to mainly how I always looked up to Dark Magician Girl when I was a little girl and I love how it is based around the magical girl genre. I really feel like the Magician Girls themselves need more support than they do right now.
Actually in Norse mythology what the Valkyrie did was go out and select brave warriors who died with their weapons in their hands from among the dead and if you were chosen by the Valkyrie instead of just dying you became an Enhjierar who couldn’t die while inside Valhalla with a pretty sweet afterlife and increased strength but in exchange for this you had to train all the time and in the case that an event which would lead to the destruction of all existing life in the universe started happening you had to go stop if and the downside of this was that if you died anywhere outside of Valhalla and you weren’t chosen again you would lose your enhjeriar afterlife and any ragnarok event would happen outside valhalla and even if you stopped the ragnarok event before dying it was possible you wouldn’t be rechosen because even though a Valkyrie would decide the first time if the decision was made twice for the same person then the decision was made by a majority vote of a council consisting of Odin and whichever heroes he liked the most and Odin would always vote fairly but his chosen didn’t have to vote fairly and often didn’t want to do if enough of Odin’s chosen didn’t like you for completely unjustified reasons even if you saved all of existence before dying you were still boned.

What I like about this Archetype is that since DMG is Mana herself in a way later passed on her teachings to many of the Magicians we see today. Still Chocolate Magician Girl *Drools*. And I love the 5th Artwork of DMG!
Funnily enough, I'm using a full Dark Magician/ Dark Magician Girl deck on Duel Links. Fruit Magicians turn around and set up the graveyard, and I am running Mahadi as well for potential Dark Magician Special Summons. Boss monster is Quintet Magician, which is why the Fruit Magicians set up the GY, so I can bring it out and wipe the field for a potential OTK.
I don’t get why they have to censor so much things. Is having breast and skin really that bad for anyone to see? Also a pentagram can mean a lot, but just for religious reasons or anything else. I personally really don’t like needles censorship like this all the time

Apprentice illusion magician is more likely mana after she died and....somehow was an inspiration for a card.(No idea how that works.) Been playing a deck that's basically a Magical Academy in deck form. Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl and the fruity magician girls, along with the Spellbook spell cards. Essentially, the OG magicians are the professors, and the fruity magician girls are the students. I also had the monster Royal Magical Library to keep with the theme, and I believe I have Magical Marionette (the theater kid in the academy).

Not Yu-Gi-Oh! Per se, but just U.S. being the U.S. between the prudish culture and the Christianity faith they were never going to let a card game marketed towards children pass with any demonic depictions and overtly sexy designs. Remember back in the day you couldn't even have a couple of actors playing as a married couple like, "I love Lucy" lay in the same bed in any scene. They literally had separate single beds in the show because in reality they weren't married, so it was a big no-no for them to...simply sit in a bed together for any reason. I HATE RELIGION!
Oh the Magician Girl archetype we got pretty women and a cute little baby Magician Girl but the pretty women will always keep being censored in international releases with some exceptions of course. Still what Kaiba said in Dark Side Dimensions made me laugh lol.
i dunno if it holds up for the TCG, but this archetype is pretty strong in duel links, especially with Magicalized Fusion and Quintet Magician being available. personally running them as Dark Signer Carly Carmine with "Offering to the Immortals" and 3 "Yami" in the deck, i get the dual prong of the magician girls being hard to beat out and feeding into Quintet Magician for an instant win, and earthbound immortals that can two-shot an opponent. Yami also just in general bumps their power level slightly. im sure there are better field spells for them, but its the only one that came to mind.
I had hoped the Magician girl archetype would have evolved into the Eyes of Blue Archetype for Dark Magician. An archetype revolving solely around supporting a very famous ace monster. Dark Magician Girl is his apprentice and I always got the sense that the rest of the Magician Girls were a part of a dark magician fan club, with Dark Magician Girl at their head since she is his apprentice.
My favorite magician girl is Apple magician girl and magician's valkyria AND dark magician girl the dragon knight I like apple magician girl more because I love the red color on her

That is the reason why I have my magician girls with some Dark Magicians, Apprentice Illusion Magicians, Black Fang Magicians, Purple Poison Magicians and Chronograph Sourcerer to help the Magician Girls and Dark Magician Girl's effects. The deck easily maxes out to 60 cards but I love using it for casual matches and so show off what they can do when given the time to fill out the monster zone field.

While I get how it isn't exactly meta rn, I always loved it due to mainly how I always looked up to Dark Magician Girl when I was a little girl and I love how it is based around the magical girl genre. I really feel like the Magician Girls themselves need more support than they do right now.

Actually in Norse mythology what the Valkyrie did was go out and select brave warriors who died with their weapons in their hands from among the dead and if you were chosen by the Valkyrie instead of just dying you became an Enhjierar who couldn’t die while inside Valhalla with a pretty sweet afterlife and increased strength but in exchange for this you had to train all the time and in the case that an event which would lead to the destruction of all existing life in the universe started happening you had to go stop if and the downside of this was that if you died anywhere outside of Valhalla and you weren’t chosen again you would lose your enhjeriar afterlife and any ragnarok event would happen outside valhalla and even if you stopped the ragnarok event before dying it was possible you wouldn’t be rechosen because even though a Valkyrie would decide the first time if the decision was made twice for the same person then the decision was made by a majority vote of a council consisting of Odin and whichever heroes he liked the most and Odin would always vote fairly but his chosen didn’t have to vote fairly and often didn’t want to do if enough of Odin’s chosen didn’t like you for completely unjustified reasons even if you saved all of existence before dying you were still boned.

What I like about this Archetype is that since DMG is Mana herself in a way later passed on her teachings to many of the Magicians we see today. Still Chocolate Magician Girl *Drools*. And I love the 5th Artwork of DMG!
Funnily enough, I'm using a full Dark Magician/ Dark Magician Girl deck on Duel Links. Fruit Magicians turn around and set up the graveyard, and I am running Mahadi as well for potential Dark Magician Special Summons. Boss monster is Quintet Magician, which is why the Fruit Magicians set up the GY, so I can bring it out and wipe the field for a potential OTK.
I don’t get why they have to censor so much things. Is having breast and skin really that bad for anyone to see? Also a pentagram can mean a lot, but just for religious reasons or anything else. I personally really don’t like needles censorship like this all the time

Apprentice illusion magician is more likely mana after she died and....somehow was an inspiration for a card.(No idea how that works.) Anyways, the name "apprentice illusion" just seems to fit pretty well.

Been playing a deck that's basically a Magical Academy in deck form. Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl and the fruity magician girls, along with the Spellbook spell cards. Essentially, the OG magicians are the professors, and the fruity magician girls are the students. I also had the monster Royal Magical Library to keep with the theme, and I believe I have Magical Marionette (the theater kid in the academy).

Per se, but just U.S. being the U.S. between the prudish culture and the Christianity faith they were never going to let a card game marketed towards children pass with any demonic depictions and overtly sexy designs. Remember back in the day you couldn't even have a couple of actors playing as a married couple like, "I love Lucy" lay in the same bed in any scene. They literally had separate single beds in the show because in reality they weren't married, so it was a big no-no for them to...simply sit in a bed together for any reason. I HATE RELIGION!

i dunno if it holds up for the TCG, but this archetype is pretty strong in duel links, especially with Magicalized Fusion and Quintet Magician being available. personally running them as Dark Signer Carly Carmine with "Offering to the Immortals" and 3 "Yami" in the deck, i get the dual prong of the magician girls being hard to beat out and feeding into Quintet Magician for an instant win, and earthbound immortals that can two-shot an opponent. Yami also just in general bumps their power level slightly. im sure there are better field spells for them, but its the only one that came to mind.

I had hoped the Magician girl archetype would have evolved into the Eyes of Blue Archetype for Dark Magician. An archetype revolving solely around supporting a very famous ace monster. Dark Magician Girl is his apprentice and I always got the sense that the rest of the Magician Girls were a part of a dark magician fan club, with Dark Magician Girl at their head since she is his apprentice.
Or they all could've been his apprentices.

That is the reason why I have my magician girls with some Dark Magicians, Apprentice Illusion Magicians, Black Fang Magicians, Purple Poison Magicians and Chronograph Sourcerer to help the Magician Girls and Dark Magician Girl's effects.
The deck easily maxes out to 60 cards but I love using it for casual matches and so show off what they can do when given the time to fill out the monster zone field.
