I love what you do and I just want to say thank you. I have had severe acne for 6 years and it was a really hard time in my life as a teenage girl. I was able to cure my acne with accutane eventually but I wish there was someone like you back then when I was struggling with my confidence and appearance because of acne. To anyone who is struggling right now: you are beautiful, with or without acne. Don’t let anyone let you down, you got this. I’m proud of you ❤️
Hormonal acne here too. Whenever I see "dimethocone" or silicone based product, I RUN! It's tricky cuz silicone has a few different names, but dimethocone is an immediate no. I use the app "ClearYa", it's incredible for analyzing makeup ingredients!! And it's free!!! She said in the ingredients this one does have dimethocone, which might have something to do with it. She says "silicone is good for scarring", which I assume she means covering up scars. But personally, I will never choose to coverage if it means more breakouts. Cuz like, that's just MORE scarring... So I know I will skip on this one.
Have you ever tried the haus labs concealer!? I have combo acne prone skin and I saw the ingredients all seem ok. Would you reccomend it? I really need a concealer for my under eyes and spot concealing
I do not have acne per se (i think?) but since i had covid i break out easily and struggle with skincare a lot. I cannot even put makeup on really, it always breaks me out :( so yeah, i live vicariously through you now 😂
Putting this here for anyone who needs it. I hope it helps someone else too. I recently watched a video from the glucose goddess on youtube about 10 hacks for glucose spikes. I highly recommend that. Since I've been doing those i haven't gotten any new spots. Edit: the video's called 10 life changing glucose hacks by glucose revolution
My man has dermatitis and I’ve been searching for the right products to get him on days he shaves his face is immediately red for awhile too doesn’t matter what he uses or how he shaves either. Wondering if this product would be a good start as far as covering the redness.
Cicaplast balm b5 right after shaving, change the aftershave (a lot of them have alcohol which could be irritating his skin more, along with strong fragrances). He may also benefit changing to new razors more often. That sucks, I get dermatitis easily. Maybe trying an unscented, mild shaving cream as well? One of the issues with dermatitis is a damaged skin barrier, so it’s better to focus on repairing that rather than covering with makeup. If it’s super dry and painful/flaky, layer of aquaphor (use sparingly, not great for face). If nothing else, get the cicaplast, that stuff is amazing. Helped heal a perioral dermatitis breakout on me in ONE WEEK (the time before took about SIX MONTHS. 😭). For him I’d say: -new razors -mild aftershave/shaving cream (NO scents) -hit with cicaplast -DO NOT touch area unless hands are washed -cerave moisturizer then azalaeic acid before bed (azalaeic acid is good at killing bad bacteria on skin, is very mild and safe to use but effective) -cleanse twice a day with cool water and soft towels (NO scrubbing 😂 GENTLE) morning and before bed.
I have eczema on my face and my biggest recommendation is to just use an electric razor over dry skin. If you need the clean shaved look, the Phillips oneblade is great. Otherwise, you can still go pretty short, but just keep the length of the hair above the skin so you’re not attacking the surface of the skin. Better on dry skin because wet skin is softened and more vulnerable to abrasion. Razors in general will always exfoliate to some extent and my eczema interprets it as a full blown attack. 😢
@@skincarewithaustin I'm not the OP, but this was really helpful. My husband is suffering from the same issue and what you wrote about the skin barrier makes a lot of sense. Is there a post-shaving product that you find helps the eczema?

Hello, Lavinia. I just want to say that you have helped me build my confidence, and see my scars as a beauty feature. Thank you. ❤

I have hormonal acne as well, but when I tried the cc cream, it made me break out
Same here
Try a skincare analyser to check if any ingredients in your products are pore cloggers.

Erborian cc bb made me break out soo bad 😢
Hey @Lavinia Rusandra , did you try Agnes Radiofrequenzneedling?
@Lavinia Rusanda May I ask what you meant by "deep skin tone" at 5:10? Thank you.
darker skin tones.

They tested your Vit B12 levels? Low levels can also cause yellow skin.
