Tadej has a new coach that clearly knows much more about conditioning. Hes been doing a heep more high intensity training in the mountsins & its paid off. Hes in better condition then years before. 👍🏻🚵🏻♂️🇸🇮💯🇨🇵

its netflix influence even the radio transmissions have been over the top drama. If matteo wanted stage he attacked way too hard on that cliimb hes going to never clear that lactate I get it he wnated to get away from carapaz but if your strong enough to drop him like that work ith him another couple ks you have a common enemy in tadej, and then go that was inexperience and loss of composure. VLB were setting up both scenarios...... if on the Bonette JV felt 'super good' and could escape, they would act as satellite riders to descend across to. As he was on an 'average' day, they were set up to drive it, which they did (mainly with Keldermann) and for MJ to go for win. The only 'potential' issue as you said was if JV needed support he'd be in the shitter, which was a big gamble with the podium. For today's stage if I was TP, I'd put the pressure on RE to make the race trying to get time on JV and take advantage in the finale (if the stage is up for grabs) or at worst, let them both tire themselves for the upcoming TT.
If Jonas doesn't recover before the TT, Evenepoel could very well leapfrog him in the standings.

Carapaz should go to the Vuelta.
Visma LAB had 3 options with that strategy. If Jonas is feeling good he'll have two guys to pull after he bridges up to them. If he is not feeling well the two satelites can wait and pace him. The third strategy is if Jonas is not feeling it before the climb they are going for the win.
What is the difference between pulling him and pacing him? I am reasonably new to racing.

In essence, pulling is about leading and reducing drag in a group, while pacing is about managing effort and speed for endurance.

The TT course is not a typical course.. very slow and technical, I dont think it favors Remco because you cant get into a flow.. its more like a paved cyclocross , maybe MVDP wins with his bike handling skills

That's so lazy. So, anyone who does really well is doing it. Jonas the last two years. Remco. Why stop there, assume the entire UAE team. There is a HUGE difference. During Lance's era there were tons of riders, former teammates, and medical experts saying he was doing it. There was a huge public throw down between Lance and Greg Lamond where Greg said "just tell people the truth." But... there is not one hint of anyone who would know saying anything. There are no former teammates, or anonymous people involved knowing specifics. NOTHING. Given the value of that secret, someone would have leaked it. Every year someone is going to be good. By your measure, every year it is because they aren't clean.
@keepgoinggo6112 Jonas has produced his best numbers ever on stage 14 and 15. Even better than in 2023 when he won. It wasn't enough. Let's see what happens at Vuelta and next year.
