With the new TEF Canada exam pattern in place from 11th December 2023, it is wonderful news that the CCIP Paris has given us some leverage in listening and reading marks. For the ones who miss writing by mere marks, scoring 428 seems to be a wonderful news too. Speaking, on the other hand, has gone slightly up 456 has to be scored to gain CLB 7. This video is about the new CLB7 grid change. Please share your feedback on the new exam pattern and comment below if you have any further questions.

Thanks a lot for the update! 😊
Please video on the new pattern
How to practice for new format of listening and reading
Thanks for sharing the new update ! Just a quick question here - how many questions do we need to get right to attain the CLB 7 mark in CO and CE ? With the old pattern, CE - 36/50 & CO - 44/60. Is there Any update on the new format ?
Hey, thank you for watching the video. So this is exactly CCIP has not revealed yet. They say that each question is marked differently and we cannot mention how much score is valid for b2+. Bonne chance!
I got 428 in TEF canada exam that I attempted on JAN22, 2024. According to new score, I have NCLC7 but TEF Canada gave me 295/450 in equivalence ancien score that is NCLC6 according to IRCC, it makes not eligible for express entry. What should I do in this case ?
I am a bit confused with the scores for each épreuve of TEF. If we need to score a minimum of 434, 434, 428 and 456 for Comp écrite, Comp orale, Prod écite and Prod orale respectively, then what are the scores you are showing at 3:19 mins? What is the difference between these 2 scores?
So, 434, 434, 428 and 456 you get in your TEF result. Now, when you fill your scores in CRS calculator, 3.19 mins score shows that you are required to fill that way, so that you get b2+ and bonus CRS points.

@@influenceranks Just to confirm - We also get the score (relevant to IRCC) on our transcript, correct?
great news🎉
The scores have changed but the crs calculator shows the old range of scores only, then how would this work?
That is indeed a concern now with IRCC tool calculator. I noticed that Bonus is not yet applied when we enter score mentioned in the video at 3.09. However, I am waiting for result of couple of students this week. As soon as I have it, I will seek further clarifications from the respective bodies. I will keep everyone posted. Merci
@@influenceranks Hey, I am in the same boat. I took the exam after this update, and my result says NCLC 7, but my score would be NCLC6 as per old TEF NCLC chart. So the system is not giving my profile the 50 CRS points for French. If you find out more about this issue, please do share any updates.
@@amolp3434 how about writing to CCIP and IRCC both in the same email? After all they should both work in sync.
@@influenceranks I agree, they should work in sync.
But the only way I found to reach out to IRCC is through filling their webform, and I have done that. Waiting for their response there. I didn’t find any mail id or a number I could call.
Have you ever communicated via email to IRCC for an issue like this? Where can I find their email id? I’ll send out a mail right away way if that’s a venue.
Hello! 👋🏻 Any updates here?
Great 👍
