  • In this video I explain and share my suggestions and experience I had while filing my PR through Quebec PNP. Although it may be demotivating to apply via Quebec because of linguistic reasons, I strongly encourage you to explore different immigration programs in Quebec as express entry is getting competitive day by day.

      Experience counts only after getting pgwp?

      Hey yes the work experience should be in Quebec. It doesn’t matter if you have 5-10 years of experience elsewhere. It has to be performed only in Quebec under teer 0 or A classification. It has to be full time (at least 36 hours) which you can only do after getting your pgwp. All the best!

    Hello.
    Thanks for the video.
    I am applying for the PEQ travail, but I don't have a CAQ, once I studied in another province and only worked in Quebec with the PGWP.
    Do you know if the CAQ is an obligation in my case? I don't see anywhere saying I need it if I don't have one, but at the same time it's one of the documents they ask.
    But I am just not sure if it is only for those who have one, or for everybody that wants to apply for the program.

    • @thefrenchdesi
      @thefrenchdesi  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi Ruben, no you don’t need CAQ if you apply through temporary foreign skill worker program. You will need it only if you apply through Quebec graduate stream. Hope this helps. All the best!

    Since this requires 2 years of experience, than I guess its better to apply for express entry after gaining 1 year or look for other pnp in quebec

    • @thefrenchdesi
      @thefrenchdesi  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes it does take 2 years of work experience but afterwards, it will be very easy for you to get PR. Looking at current situation, people have been waiting for 1-2 years for an invitation from federal PR so might want to spend 2 years in Quebec and guarantee your PR.

    • @thefrenchdesi
      @thefrenchdesi  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, French has nothing to do with post graduation work permit. You are still entitled to get a work permit depending upon the program of your studies. Not all study programs are entitled to work permit as per recent changes.

    Hello sir, does it is compulsory to learn french for pg diploma degree of network management course from lasalle collage sep 2024

    • @thefrenchdesi
      @thefrenchdesi  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, it is not compulsory to learn French for your course but the government is pushing hard on implementing French courses in all English speaking colleges and universities to get your degree certificate. It has not been implemented though so you should be good.

    • @thefrenchdesi
      @thefrenchdesi  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, since you are coming in 2025 I would suggest to learn some basic French by which you can initiate a conversation publicly. If you can greet and maintain a decent level of conversation then it will be much easier for you to find opportunities here. If you have the right skill set then you dont have to worry about the job market. You will get a job regardless of the time period. All the best :)

    At the age of 49 i applied in Quebec PNP program. I just completed A1 level. It 1:01 will take more 7-9 months to reach toB2 level..Do you think i should continue it at that time i will be 50.Give me advice

    • @thefrenchdesi
      @thefrenchdesi  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi Huma thank you for your comment. It depends on which stream you would be applying for PR. Regardless you will need at least 1 year of skilled work experience. If you are able to complete B2 level in 6-7 months I would suggest that you continue on studying French since it’s something you would be achieving in near future. Once you have your French cleared, it will be much easier to get more points for your PR. Hope this helps. All the best!

    • @thefrenchdesi
      @thefrenchdesi  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@arungoyal4515 you should be able to come here if your CSQ is accepted but I would recommend to check on the website to make sure you really can. If you speak French then I would suggest to apply through Quebec PNP. Right now people are having hard time getting PR through express federal system so definitely would recommend Quebec PNP.
