I'm totally dumbfounded awestruck...an English accent!? Wondrous! She's such an amazing actress. The Tunnel was an amazing show. Hope to see more of them both
She's very talented in switching the accent. She talks British when being interviewed in British and American when being interviewed in American. Besides, she doesn't have a real French accent which is great!
This girl really made this TV program. In the last episode of series 3 my wife and I felt like we lost someone we loved when she was gone. That truly ended that series. She was wonderful in it.
No, but seriously, bro she's awesome in the movie "in Bruges" it has Lord Valdemort as the Mob boss with ruthless principals, and Mad-eye Moodie as this Bad-ass, Benign hitman. Hilarious and dark.
+dearSarahe Clemence has the amazing ability to switch between an English accent and an American accent depending upon the situation. Both are impressively authentic.
Her speech is astonishing. Almost flawless English. That is just .. not conceivable from a Parisienne. Wow. Huge respect! That must have taken many many hours to perfect.
I just watched Season 2, and deliberately sought out any Clemence interview just to see if she could smile. And guess what? She has a fantastic smile! She has it all - charm, class, beauty, and so much talent! Love her!
I watched you and loved you throughout the Tunnel seasons and cried my eyes out when I watched the final episode of S3, Karl‘s vision in hall of mirrors overwhelmed me. Thank you
She is awesome I heard she also speaks Italian as well. I remember her in Harry Potter Fleur she was great . I heard they maybe doing a Harry Potter series/reboot soon on netflix. I hope they put her on it she's amazing
Lol skyclasp makes this comment re "girlies" on all Poésy's vids. I think he has a screw loose 😁 or doesn't realise there's no such word, or is a voyeur or something....
+pyrostrike uk English-speakers hate everything about France and the French language, that's why she had to learn how to get rid of her French accent while speaking English.
From one WOMAN to another I have the BIGGEST GIRL ON GIRL CRUSH ON YOU YOUR SO AMAZING AND YOUR BUETIFUL EYES ARE SO BEAUTIFUL YOU BLOW MY MIND AND A GREAT ACTRESS I HOPE that maybe I can meet you one greatE day and you know I am Big Big fan of yours hugs Girl xxx From the STATES ⚘✌😊 ⚘ HUGS xxx Anne xxx😊 ANNE R.⚘
MY POV --> I think its a bit hard for french people to speak English because french have soft alphabets and english has hard " But she changed my POV "
To Clémence if you're out there, you ought to audition for a few roles: 1) The voice of a new Disney Princess. 2) *Star Wars*. 3) If there was a live-action remake of *The Aristocats*, you ought to be the voice of Duchess the cat. 4) *The Terminator*. 6) A Christopher Nolan film. 7) *X-Men*.
While I appreciated her portrayal of Elise Wasserman for the most part, I found it very frustrating that she often garbled her words and spoke under her breath. I believe it must be possible to portray a quirky, subdued character like this and still allow your audience to hear your dialogue! Thank God for subtitles or I would've given up altogether. On the whole, a job well done.
I assume by "she," you are referring to the character, not the actor. The storyline never actually defined Elise's "condition," but only alluded to it. But, my point is the same - I am watching a performance and, therefore need to be able to hear the character's words.....If the writer didn't want the words to be heard and understood, what would be the point of her having actual dialogue? I think, with better effort or a different approach she might have accomplished it and still conveyed the quirkiness of the character she portrayed...
@@carolinej3661 Yes, I was referring to her character, and they made it quite clear that she had something along the lines of aspergers, they don't need to outright state it. Have you watched any of her movies? She can act, and she perfectly embodied Elise's character. Her mumbling simply made her character feel more real, and i'm sure a lot of people with aspergers can relate. And how condescending... What do you mean by "better effort?" It was clear the actress gave it her all, and she did so perfectly. I doubt the mumbling bothered anyone else, i hardly even noticed. It really shouldn't be all that difficult to make out what she's saying.. And you know, people who have aspergers can't just "not mumble." That's really not how it works. I'm glad they chose a more realistic approach to Elise's character, instead of trying to cater to people like you who cannot appreciate realistic depictions of characters, as well as great acting...
You are very invested in defending this portrayal. Ultimately, though, it comes down to personal preference. You seem to believe that your opinion is "right," and mine is "wrong." But, that's not how art works. The fact that you thought the performance was flawless has no effect on my opinion of it. Nor does any other performance I might or might not have seen by this actor. My comment was on this particular performance. And, if you will go back and read my original comment, you will see that I said I appreciated her performance for the most part. I did not appreciate being unable to understand much of her dialogue. Nor did the other people with whom I watched the series. And, finally, I have decided based upon your rantings that you are a bit of a know-it-all and a bully. Of course, that is my opinion.....
+Alexandra K. I'm french. I was just surprised because in this interview she speaks english very well, but in the show she has a terrible accent, which means that as an actress she had to fake her french accent.
She speaks well of the One True King, so she has my respect.
Jon Irenicus Who is the one true king??
Anna Jolie Stephen Dillane (Stannis Baratheon, Game of Thrones)
Knarf Nil
You talking about his late older brother?
I'm totally dumbfounded awestruck...an English accent!? Wondrous! She's such an amazing actress. The Tunnel was an amazing show. Hope to see more of them both

Oh she does the Gillian Anderson thing
This girl really made this TV program. In the last episode of series 3 my wife and I felt like we lost someone we loved when she was gone. That truly ended that series. She was wonderful in it.
The final season of The Tunnel crushed me. Brilliant show with top notch acting
Her accent is amazing
I love each of her accent. She’s just amazing
ONE TRUE KING
Talented actress, multilingual, well travelled, politically motivated. And, just for good measure, beautiful and personable. This woman is angelic
Stephen Dillane was BRILLIANT in every respect! I so look forward to seeing his next project!
She is....i got no words to describe her... oh god
she was awesome "In Bruges"
Eddy Yaeji Bro... She's AMAZING everyfuckinwhere! ;)
No, but seriously, bro she's awesome in the movie "in Bruges" it has Lord Valdemort as the Mob boss with ruthless principals, and Mad-eye Moodie as this Bad-ass, Benign hitman. Hilarious and dark.
***** Yeah, she played Fleur Delacour
+Hermione Jean Granger up to this day I still don't know how to pronounce Fleur
It blows my mind that she has an "english" accent.
Perhaps when she speaks English it's that accent. I'm French, and whenever I speak English, people mistakenly me as an English person.
+dearSarah Moi aussi mais on a toujours des mots à cause desquels on est trahit. Par exemple, Clémence c'est "between".
+dearSarahe Clemence has the amazing ability to switch between an English accent and an American accent depending upon the situation. Both are impressively authentic.
+Mark Lawrence Alicia Vikander does a similar thing depending on who she's talking to or where she is.
The Lord of Light gave her an english accent.
There's hardly a trace of her French accent. I guess she must have practiced a lot.
Her speech is astonishing. Almost flawless English. That is just .. not conceivable from a Parisienne.
Wow.
Huge respect! That must have taken many many hours to perfect.
I had a crush on her since I saw her as Fleur.
I just watched Season 2, and deliberately sought out any Clemence interview just to see if she could smile. And guess what? She has a fantastic smile! She has it all - charm, class, beauty, and so much talent! Love her!
her accent changes in every interview

This lady is a true Actress unlike the bimbos Hollywood is producing. I hav watched all three Tunnel shows and she is quite magnificent.
She speaks better English than me
Elise !!! I hate the final of the tunnel

She has a slight British accent
Elise
The woman who owns the local bike shop in my town looks just like Clemence. So.... does anyone want to buy a bike?
she's English? what happened to her French accent?
I read somewhere that she had to do the accents herself and that she actually speaks perfect English
+Sydney Paolercio it's weird but I love how she just switches accents and looks kinda posh
+Ted Parks me too actually
You have a kind of Italian last name
+Ted Parks oh yeah! I am Italian (and some other stuff)
Daryl Dixon 😭

shes nice , good actress, but the character of this autitistic/bipolar/upset girl in 1st season is just boring...
wait so that means she faked her terrible french accent in the show i'm SHOOK
She is French lol from Paris :) but has a great English accent :)
Either you're being sarcastic or just stupid.
+Alexandra K. ???
FifthFuckingHarmony She's French. If you think her French accent was terrible, you must not come across a lot of French people.

She is so bad compare to Saga Noren, länskrim, Malmö!!!!!
