    What a savage review 👏 i love it! Great that someone is actually giving an honest criticism of wacom products instead of gushing about how they are supposedly number 1 by default. Please review any newer or alternate brand tablets you get and show us your desk setup (and your feet! 😆 )

    I have the 24 pro, 15.6 and 13.3 XP Pen Pro. For the price I say go with an alternative to the Cintiq.
    Still I enjoy the 24 Pro, have it on a Ergotron HX arm, seems like the reason why they didnt put the 4 VESA screws in the middle was due go the Cintiq Engine slot. In this stead thry moved the Vesa holes to the far left and far right of the lower back of the cintiq.

    I recently bought a 16hd. And I was shocked by the same problem, it was not at all what I expected. It feels like the screen is dirty, really annoying. No one talks about it. Honestly, I'm frustrated with the purchase.

      fr this girl sounds like a fucking lunatic lol. Everything shes going on about is so minor. At 5:53 she says "I know there's an alternative to hold the pen on screen but I don't want to disrupt the silhouette of the tablet" like wtf? lol who even thinks about that.
      at 6:42 she says "The screen is blemished nobody is talking about this". uuhh maybe because its really not that noticeable or it just doesn't bother ppl like it does to you.
      She sounds like she has OCD tbh.

      @donbartolo1243 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@askinganime6023 I totaly agree with her. I have the same problems with the Cintiq Pro's. There is nothing OCD about it. It's just when you are spending a lot of time with a tablet (i mean like 10h a day), those "little details" are becoming sometimes hell of frustrations. Like she says, it's because not a lot of people are talking about it. And if you pay so much money for a tablet, there is no problem with the fact of listing the cons.
      Now something that could be a problem for one is maybe not for another.
      Next time, maybe it should be better to tell something constructive about the tech instead of "analyzing" the mental health of the reviewer, doctor...

      @@donbartolo1243 not analyzing. More like over exaggerating to make a point. The things she complains about r so petty. Being critical is fine but the way this video was made and her tone turn it into propaganda and a personal mission against wacom rather than a review. I use it everyday for at least 8 hours and I still haven't noticed the screen issues she mentions.

    You just saved me $3000+. Thank you.
    I was about to purchase this unit today. I've been watching videos, talking to artists, reading reviews. I was all set to buy this unit. I was so EXCITED to buy this unit. Thank I found your video. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for pointing out the screen static noise flaw. I would have flipped my shit if I received this unit and found that. That is 100% unacceptable. A few months ago I spent a bunch of money buying the PaperLike Screen Protectors for my iPad Pro 1, getting them shipped to me way up here in the Yukon (which cost a pretty penny), after SO MANY people raved how amazing and wonderful they were. How much they "revolutionized" the iPad drawing experience. I excitedly and carefully applied the protector to my iPad...
    ....and it did EXACTLY what you showed in that video (I have pics to prove it). I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I was. I tried to get used to it, believe me, I TRIED. But it triggered a migraine within a half hour use. At first, I thought, maybe I just need to adjust. So I took a break, gave it a day. Nope. Three more attempts, three more migraines. As a chronic migraine sufferer, I can't have something that LITERALLY makes my tech unusable for me!
    So thank you. Thank you for showing something no other reviewer had gotten into. Out of all the videos, all the reviews, not one went into the negatives. I appreciate your blunt honesty. The second I saw that in your video, my heart SANK. I can't buy this unit now, no matter how good everything else might be. I can let everything else slide... but not that.

    Thanks for sharing this info. I own a 32” Cintiq that I purchased March 2019. After six months, I started to see what looked like pixelation or fixed pattern noise that covered about 1/3 of the screen. I sent the display to Wacom and pleaded with them to replace it. Instead I was told they would repair it with a “refurbished display”. Needless to say I was not impressed with my brand new display getting a used part. But I am very frustrated to hear you say that others were told by Wacom that the dead pixel issue was worthy of replacement. Fast forward to April 2021 and I have again sent my display back to Wacom for the exact same issue! It is deeply frustrating as I am again going without the display for another month and have no assurances that the issue won’t crop up again.

    The main reason I was considering this tablet was 4k display which huion doesn't seem to have any plans for. I have the 221 kamvas atm and when I first got it i hated the blurry 1080 res so much i almost returned it. I'm used to it now but I really want a higher res tablet at this size already, and parallax gone. Thanks for the review

    This is exactly the issue I have with my old model huion kanvas which I purchased about 2 or more years ago and it sometimes hurts my eyes to work with for some reason cause I could see the screen sparkle as I moved back and forth. So I was hoping to invest in a product that maybe didn't have this problem so knowing this problem existed really helped, especially since I haven't seen anyone else mention this problem!

      I mentioned it elsewhere that Huion has a new 24" Pro 4K display tablet. It's not THAT much cheaper than the Wacom, but it's got smaller bezels, no fans, and the option for VESA mount.

    HI there, do you have any recommendations regarding a better alternative? I just got the cintiq 24 pro touch and the grainy screen is very noticeable and bothersome. For my line of work I’m looking for crystal clear quality. I’ve had to break out my intuos and work on a gaming monitor for better accuracy and color quality. Does Huion or XP-Pen have the same problems?

      Huion just came out with an amazing looking 24 Pro 4k! But, it's not that much cheaper than the Wacom and I wonder about reliability. I wish XP Pen would come out with something similar as XP Pen seems to have better support.

    1:15 I have no idea why other youtuber who review Cintiq pro 24 did not complain about this
    last week I bought Cintiq 24 pro , everything is perfect, I amazed by a build quality even the USB cable was very thick, but I notice the screen is not perfect, there is something like rgb/multicolor pixel dot.
    it's not very visible in dark colors but it is very annoying when you draw in bright colors, I thought it was defect but I try search on the internet I found some people have the same problem, it's a shame considering the price isn't cheap, now I have no other choice but to get used to it

    • @Psil0
      @Psil0 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Other youtuber did not complain about this because it's been a thing on every Wacom Cintiq. It's a necessary design decision in order to give the tablet the feel it has. I've been using Cintiqs for years and personally it's the reason I'll always choose a Cintiq over another tablet. Drawing on smooth glass is horrible in my experience, and ''mate screen protectors'' aren't much better... (sorry, yeah, I know...your comment is a year old lol. Hope you got used to your Cintiq)

    For canceling glare and making it feel like paper, use a screen protector! No seriously, hear me out, there's a brand called paper-make or paper-like that is a screen protector that feels pretty darn close to paper. I use it for my iPad pro with apple pencil, it's amazing! Wacom should just provide a screen protector on it when you buy it, it seems a simple solution but... well... since when is anything simple?

    They had the same screen noise issue on the cintiq companion 2. I don't know about these, but on the cc2 it was a layer on top of the screen. I couldn't take the speckled rainbow when looking at white canvas. Was able to peel it off, the adhesive as super strong, took about 2 hours to get the layer off and required a wild amount of force. Almost broke the glass. The chemical smell from the adhesive stuck around for 2 weeks. But the screen was crystal clear after that. Rather trade the glare reduction and matte feel for the clarity.

      I don't think that its the same with cintiq 16 because it doesnt have the etched glass (only the pro line has it) But does it still have the noise on the screen? I also want to know about your experience with it because I'm looking to buy one

      @@tahaesat2569 I have the Cintiq16 (not Pro).Bought it 3 months ago and It does have rainbow grain but I don't know if it's because the low res or anti glare screen.
      PS: Now that I am moving my head over It I can see that It's a screen.I remedy this problem by looking further away from it( helps with my posture too:D) and checking my monitor which has a better resolution and color gamut.

      Yeah I just literally sent my Cintiq 16 back to amazon today. A Pro 24 is coming in the mail tomorrow. I will have to see for myself. I enjoyed using the Cintiq 16 while I had it. I just wasn't happy with the resolution. I wanted 4k resolution and a little more screen space.
      Using it for my upcoming Character Modeling course at Full Sail University. I plan on using it with Maya and Zbrush. I mean I think anything that doesn't have a completely smooth screen would have some noise. Even my favorite screen protector from paper like on my iPad leaves me with a slight amount of screen noise in exchange for the paper like feel.
      I know some people who can adjust and draw on a smooth screen. I just tried for a couple weeks and I couldn't do it. After getting the screen protector everything was fine. Yes, I had to give up the retina like clarity. Yes I see what she is saying about the rainbow effect. I have the same thing on my iPad with the screen protector. Then again I never noticed it until literally just now. I slightly wet my thumb and ran it over the screen while on a webpage with a white background. Then again my screen is generally never wet.
      What I hope is that it sounds like my iPad with the screen protector. I only really hear a noise when I put my ear near the screen when drawing in Procreate. Then again putting my ear that close to the screen isn't something I normally do. I am slightly disappointed at Wacom after seeing this video. Then again I will have to see when my Cintiq comes in the mail tomorrow. If the screen is similar to my iPad with an added screen protector i'll be fine. I have seen many people complain about the legs too. I have also seen them just prop it up with a book or something. I plan on buying an Arm to hold it up on my desk. I am not happy that all these accessories are going to cause me to sell my other arm and leg. Then again Apple products are the same. The accessories are all expensive. Yes, sometimes even being expensive they have issues.
      I prefer Apple computers over other computers. Do I expect that they will never have issues because it cost more? No I really don't. I just like the OSX a lot more than the windows OS. I would rather deal with OSX issues over Windows issues. My 12.9 iPad Pro after a year of having it all the sudden started having touchscreen issues. I looked online and found others saying the same thing. Then again my sister has one too and hers is fine. I would take it to Apple but I am waiting to upgrade to the newest model. I got it through my phone company and was told I can turn it back in when upgrading to the newest model. I am just waiting to see if a new model comes out this year.
      I was looking up Cintiq videos because I was excited about getting a Cintiq tomorrow and now the excitement is gone. I will just have to wait and see for myself. If it's a piece of trash. I will just send it back. Then again I did like the Cintiq 16(not the pro model). So I would hope the 24 Pro would be a step up.

    Hi there .. maybe for some people this is not an issue .. but for me it is .. I was saving gold to buy this thing and now Im having second thoughts .. and scared a bit .. with another feeling that cant describe .. a friend of mine a pro 2d concept artist ..a week ago said exactly that what u described on the vid. I did ‘t believed him .. ‘’meeh u are exaggerating.. u need glasses etc.. ‘’. Im coming from a cintiq companion 2 ( the i7 5xxx with 16gm ram. It cost me an arm and a leg ) and the worst thing this device had is the ‘’SCREEEN ANTIGLARE FILM’’. Gooosshhhh it grany and .. the most similar effect to describe it ..would be .. graband put some vaseline on your fingers ..then go a. Put it over a beautiful screen. Damn! Why whyy wacom did it !.. I think the kaleidoscope effect is pretty way similar , maybe its less noticeable .. ont he 4k .. but people described similar issues on the old 22hd models ..some on the 24hd (The previous version) but with less effect.. and said 9from what I could find) is even lesser or pretty much non obtrusive on the 27 qhd . Interesting to note: i managed to stick out the antiglare film on the cintiq companion 2 and the screen is B e a u t i f u l! Crisp clear ..and I bought one from photodon,. It really did a difference .. and I sam a dude. Did the same thing on his old cintiq 22HD . ..at least you have this chance on those models that don’t have the etched glass ... I suffered enough working looking at the cintiq companion 2 screen .. I don;t want to fall in the same mistake again . For some people who cant take a look at this cintiqs in real life .. its a very appreciated and well regarded info. Thank you very much !
