Maybe this was a mistake 😰 - Studio Vlog

  • In this studio vlog, I get the Ergo stand for my Wacom Cinitq Pro 24 and it proves to be a slight challenge when it comes to putting the back piece of the cintiq on. I also work on some Shiba Inu stickers and show you an Illustration I'm working on (Hint: it's Zelda related 😉) I never put the backing back on after I first got my Cintiq for this reason 😩 Once it's on it's great but I really wish the backing had a different method of locking in. The stand is great though! My back feels so much better now!

      Hey maybe I'm a year late, but the problem is that the giant thing isn't drawing enough signal from the USB. You need to connect it with an HDMI cable or Display Port. Leaving this comment here for anyone who needs an answer :)

    Why can't Wacom just make a simple adjustable atand like the one included with the Cintique 22?

    Watching this was one of the most stressful viewing experiences on TH-cam ever. LOL.
    Hey I am betting the problems you are having is that you didn't put enough slack in the cables to exit out of the bottom of the back cover plate.
    If you don't have enough slack, then the back cover won't go down all the way. You husband probably brute force jammed it down.
    Which probably has the connectors on the back of your cable pulling down so hard that it's causing a connection issue with your Cintiq.
    You should probably check right away, because there's also a chance that you might have bent the pins or the connector heads.
    Good luck.

    dang that box was huge... btw when you make your stickers are you printing with sticker paper? and are you cutting them your self?

    • @Mimsbrush
      @Mimsbrush  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know! I print them on vinyl sticker paper and I used to hand cut but now I use my silhouette cameo to cut them.

    doesn't look like it's woth putting the back lid on, as it only ads another heat pocket to it. a lot of people are complaining about the fan noise it's making, especially in warmer days. is it true? is it THAT bad..? I currently have pro16 and it's noisy as a laptop under a lot of stress. all our pro16 in the studio does that.. kinda annoying tbh especially in a silent environment when trying to concentrate.

    Nice video! Very helpful. I use the 24inch XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro drawing display (which is cheaper than the thing you linked) and Photoshop for photo editing and digital painting . It works well for me.

    you made need to update your USB drivers on your computer, since you changed a few things. this should fix your intermittent Cintiq monitor issue. if that doesn't work, HDMI cable connected to your Cintiq may not be pushed in tight enough, which will require you taking off the back again. sorry. be sure to reboot after update drivers though. Also, you never said how you liked the new stand and if it made your drawing on the Cintiq better, worse or same?

    • @Mimsbrush
      @Mimsbrush  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Changing the HDMI cable fixed the issue! As for the stand I love it, I wish there was more ability to set the height to where you want and easier handling. For example, you can only adjust the angle when it's upright. The handles on the side can be a little finicky as well. But I prefer it over the arm one because it's not as shaky.

    • @Mimsbrush
      @Mimsbrush  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s what I’m thinking. It’s just weird because not much has changed unless the hdmi I got just isn’t the best. I’m also worried that with the back part essentially having to be smashed in that maybe it messed something up internally. :(

    How are you finding moving the stand into different positions? Mine is so stiff I have to push down with my chin when pulling it forward and down! I’ve never seen anyone do that in their demos!

    • @rmtagasa

      I find side latches of my stand a bit too tight when I press them. How about yours?

    • @lizprint2011
      @lizprint2011 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      R M Tagasa if I pull up on the handles near the bottom of the screen I can hardly move it but if I pull on the top instead it moves better. Certainly not as smooth as I expected but at least I don’t need to press my head on the tablet anymore!

    I dreeeeam of a wacom cintiq24 touch😭😭😭😭😭😭.
    I'm maching your vid,sorry for ALL the troubles you have,real troubles.
    But I'm still ...😳...dreaming.
    It's not normal to have so many issues,normally,the stand or the arm should be included in the package.
    Cintique IS the most expensive tablet....

    • @Mimsbrush
      @Mimsbrush  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't have the touch one so I'm unsure if there would be more issues. But it works perfectly now! The issue was the HDMI cable that had come with it so once I changed that it solved it. Super expensive but I love it to death haha
