  • Gravity powered Lego spinning Wheel! extremely high RPM!
    Here’s my Lego Technic device to spin a Lego wheel fast using weights.
    The build stands at 120cm / 48 inches tall which I forgot to mention in the video.
    Thank you for watching and reading :)

    I want to know how fast the wheel was spinning at the tip. My estimate is that if the radius of the 31,778rpm gear was 3cm, then the tip would be spinning at 3cm*2pi*31778/60/(100m/cm) = 100 meters per second, about 220mph.
    I also really want to see a follow-up to the video of attempts to get lego spinning at supersonic speed

      @GazRsExtremeBrickMachines  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there nice thanks for that!
      I’ve been playing about with the supersonic attempt the last few weeks. It drains me a little charging the 60 batteries each time though lol.
      I’ve got over 700mph but the problem is I’ve used some nylon on an axle and visually there’s not much going on! I think the max speed I’ve hit is 730 so still a little short. Another issue is the nylon is so thin It doesn’t displace much air so there won’t be much to listen to either. I will keep trying though :)
