Yes. He is using an original Rubik's cube. The one we had didn't work so I bought him a brand new one and it did not work either. I even tried a speed cube but the sensor won't even scan the colors on that one. We tried newly charged batteries, too. Maybe he needs to re-build the flipping arm pieces to ensure it is correct? Sometimes it misses and does not flip the cube at all, but only 1 out of 10 times does this happen. We'll keep trying but if you think of anything else, let me know. Thanks!

Not the fastest but definitely one of the coolest, since it only uses lego and has some very intelligent ways of working

My son built this and it scans and sets up the moves fine. However, when it starts to solve, it doesn't complete a full turn, then when it flips the cube it gets all messed up because it's not squared up due to the incomplete turn. Any advice to fix this issue? Thanks for the great video!

this is sick and i know how he did it the light thing at start checks the colors and he added alll th combonations wich prob took like 5hours and made the motors move in certaent way

How did you pack this 25MB program into 256kb NXT memory?
I didn't. Because i am pretty sure I cant compile a .pdf file into the nxt.
But what I did was using the 0.050MB file and transfer it to the NXT.
LoL, this rxe had 25MB until i changed name and then i has only 50kb
+TheMaxus24 ? Hmm. You mean that when you downloaded it, you got is as a file without an extention, but when you added the extention ".rxe" it got reduced size? Or just the file name? Anyway, sounds wired
i downloaded rxe file which had 25mb, and after changing name it has 50kb
+TheMaxus24 you must delete all other files on the brick then it should work

What method is it using
i have rubik's cube 5,5cmx5,5cmx5,5cm but if i start program it scans only edges and after scanning it have scan error.(sorry for my bad english I'm from czech republic)

Hi. I think that means the proximity sensor thinks the cube is in there already. (The cube must be inserted after the nxt program is running) To fix this, try checking the proximity sensor is working corrently and that there is nothing in front of it. Hope this helps.
