It is impossible to overload on classic cars, losing my voice from yelling at the screen though IS a thing. Me and my ex used to be proud owners of some early 80's Fords..... Fiesta XR2, Escort XR3, Escort 1600, but our favourite was our beautiful Series 1 RS Turbo... Miss that car so much but humans....!
Mecum is one of the biggest auto auctions you can attend. My husband and I watch it all the time on TV. We always want to go to watch it live. We love classic cars. Thanks for sharing!!!
Man I am so pumped after watching this video. For the last 7 years since my grandfather turned 80, i have traveled to Florida to take him to this auction. We are huge car nuts. I have purchased 2 cars from this auction in the past, but this year I am hopefully selling one. Its mostly about spending time with my grandfather though. He no longer fights my suggestion of renting a scooter. He just lets me rent it now, and its hard to keep up with him. He zips all over the place! I think he is the reason that Dana Mecum puts up the "No Scooters Allowed" signs 😂
That was great. Nice to see the "non car" stuff ( there are a couple of channels that literally walk through every car there ). America is truly the land of the car. In Europe, we've nothing even approaching auctions of that size/ scope. And prices sure have taken off in the last 20 years. probably at least 4x here in Europe for classic Americana
For about ten years, a few days a week I drove for an auto auction close to the airport in Atlanta. I never knew what car I would be driving next. Luckily, I have a lot of experience driving manual transmission, which is becoming more and more rare. But because of this many times I got to drive a lot of really cool sport's cars. Or I might drive a car with no doors, no hood, a smoking engine, only to run out of gas or break down waiting in line. Listening and watching the auction? Especially while it's the car I was driving through was amazing. Truly amazing. My auction was Manheim in College Park, Ga, located right by Hartsfield, the busiest airport in the world. Talk about busy. A killer experience.
This is for the Jan. 2 vlog, you will gratefully be missed by me seeing I’ve been watching you for 10 yrs. and always enjoy your vlogs. Seeing I’m ill and don’t around much it’s entertaining to watch you. What I really enjoy is when you have your parents with you.
I heard someone mentioned the Barrett Jackson auction. That should be starting shortly here in Scottsdale Arizona. A friend of mine had a food truck and I helped with it for over a decade. So my husband got to come for free. He would bring his Canon 135. I have no idea how many pictures we have from those auctions. 📸🚒🚙🚑⛽🚲🚀 He would have loved your videos. Because these are the same types of things he uses to like. Thanks Adam 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Have a great day in the of 2024! (Just trying to help you out)😁👍🏼
Definitely something you should come see here and oh it won't be 120 degrees this time. There are several auctions in mid to late January. Some of the wildest movie cars get autioned off each year and it usually is televised on a couple of big cable networks. Jay Leno is a regular attendee for his collections. It is the biggest auction that takes place Jan 20 thru 28. We Will be there the 20th the Orlando the 22nd thru the 27th. Neon + two car garage = Woo man cave!
Forgot this was going on. Last year I didn't find out til the last day. I'm going to try and go Sunday. Love your videos. Been a very long time viewer as a fellow central Floridian thank you for all you document
Ahhh the memories in my husband‘s Trans Am. And yes Micah you could hear it come down the road I always knew when he was coming home. I heard him coming down the street and I knew I could get his dinner ready lol.
So fun seeing 2 non-car guys do car stuff, and hearing your perspectives of them. The little Dodge Omni GLH next to the DeLorean is very rare, and such a cool car. We passed by there last week. The tents were up, but we didn't see any cars. They must have filled the place up fast!
Good morning Adam, nice one today, classic car heaven.Interesting and different looks like you could spend a day there with so much to see.Listening to that auctioneer cracks me up.Take care from Universal Jamie.
I had so many classic muscle cars from age 19-25, starting with a 1968 Camaro, then a 66 Nova, a 69 Chevelle with a 396 engine, and a 1980 Camaro with a 454 engine (not original motor). Then a 69 Z28 Camaro, a 69 Yenko Camaro clone, then after all of that muscle, I've only had a 1946 Chevy pickup with the original 6 cylinder motor for the last 12 1/2 years. And I actually split that cost with my dad, so I only own half of it...usually the passenger side half
You have had some really nice cars..I too wishI still owned the cars I had in my younger days. Happy New Year! (I would kill for that 69 Chevelle with the 396 LOL)
@@streettacokid8823 I even had the 375 HP L78 motor. My whole goal buying cars when I was younger was to get an LS6 1970 Chevelle, so if I saw something nicer than what I had I kept upgrading with the money I was saving. I actually worked three jobs for almost two full years, averaging about 82 hours a week. My only days off were Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas, except the second year I worked Easter morning for four hours too. Never got to my dream car and now the prices are just ridiculous on them in any shape. Happy New Year to you as well!
Fun video Adam. We have a 69 coronet. Unfortunately the transmission went during the summer and kind of having a difficult time finding someone to fix it. Hubby doesn’t want to leave it outside at a dealership waiting to be fixed. Can’t wait to get it out of storage for the summer.
Micah ,having a little Elvis look going on ..Thank you Adam for taking all us along with you.the classic cars are up my alley .i had a small block 350 z28 camero .i have my car picture on my TH-cam main profile .miss my car that auction announcer 😂 it is amazing how fast they talk .dont even rub your nose or scratch . you might be coming home with something you might not like 😂
Love this video. I have always loved old cars my favorite is 66 mustang my Dad had a old El Camino i loved that car also i use to drive it. Also loved the old signs and rides. I'm pretty sure the wax figure next to Trump was the lead guy from the show Yellowstone
I work for a Dodge Chrysler Jeep and Ram Dealership. We have a Dodge Demon in our showroom and a few Hellcats. They are incredible vehicles. We also have a few classic cars too. An old woody wagon. Ford Model T. Old Chevy truck. We also had a Dodge Super Bird just like the orange one in your vlog today. Really enjoyed today's vlog. It would have been funny to see you take a ride today doing those burnouts!
Makes me miss my 91 Ford Mustang Gt , my 91 Pontiac Firebird , fire engine red w t tops and my 83 Ford Mustang hatchback. My first car was a 74 Ford Mustang Ghia. No floor boards in back but it sure was fun as a 17 yr old who bought her own 1st car...I love my Fords. Drove an Triton 10 Ford Expedition 4x4 for over 15 yrs and loved it. Hubby made me get rid of her due to rust problems below. Living in Michigan does that. Now my 19 yr old son loves Chevies. He is driving a Chevy Monte Carlo , red of course. Yes already has speeding ticket. Lol..cops love those red sports cars too ❤❤
Great video Woo. You hinted yesterday that something you have wanted for a long time was possibly going to be delivered today. Man I was really expecting you to come away from there with a classic car or truck 😂. Hopefully that will happen for you one day.
Good morning Adam that auto auction is also on cable station, like Discovery channel. Mecum Auto Auction, it's an awesome 😎👍 place to bid on a classic or mussel car. Thank you for sharing this. Nice to see your friend as well Mirch.
If you ever come back and travel around Michigan, you should to the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners Mi. The place is amazing! They have the first car ever to be made, they have a Tucker automobile - each building is dedicated to a different car company.
23:2022:37 i got a few of those old Uniroyal tire signs as well as others for free when my friend closed his decades old tire shop & needed the signs removed from the building before selling it ,basically got the signs for removing them, got Goodyear, Michelin, Continental, & others & got some cool inside stuffs like Goodyear blimps & metal Michelin trucks & signage too
We loved this video, I think you could do a documentary on this material, Loved a neon sign that had Polly Gas on it with the Parrot, that would have mixed in with a Lilo and Stich theme/Hawaiian theme Mini bar .Great video Adam.
The Phoenix is the bird i believe on the trans am it wasn't made just for smoky and the bandit car but many people believe it is. Those car aren't my favorite im more of a dodge Chrysler mopar fan. Buying a classic car is cool but building one brings more pleasure and just feels good owning and driving something you did yourself, thankfully i had the chance when i was i 18 to get my dads old truck as a birthday gift, it was many many colors and beat up, i did a full restoration on it over a period of time. I loved that truck i was so pleased it came out nice
That truck that you called a little home on wheels, around the 17-18 minute mark....Jason Momoa traveled around the U.S. a year or two ago in one like it. He showed it on Instagram. Pretty cool setup!
Instagram- AdamTheWooATW
Classic car overload but some of those prices were wild. One day it’d be fun to own one
Ohh yeaahh
We are kind of partial to Mustangs, but we really love classic cars in general! 🙂

I cant wait to see you in your very own classis car. I hope its soon ;)
Movie themed cars would be cool, a time machine for Adam and a blues mobile for Mica 👍😎
Hello Adam. This was nice! Seeing Micah there too, made it special. Thank you for sharing this with us! ❤❤❤

Wow, that was a great video! Loved everything about it. I grew up in the 50's and remember a lot of those cars. Those were the good old days.
Love this video. I always wanted to go to an auction like that. Thanks Adam.
Super cool video, never knew they had all those advertisements signs and coin rides.
I loved the auction and antiques. I always think of you when I'm having my caffeinated beverage, and it makes me smile. 😊 Cheers!

Love the sound of the super chargers going off
Mecum is the greatest spectacle of automotive craziness one can experience. I can’t wait to be there for the next 3 days.
Ahhh the memories in my husband‘s Trans Am. And yes Micah you could hear it come down the road I always knew when he was coming home. I heard him coming down the street and I knew I could get his dinner ready lol.
hello again Adam and Micah , so many great cars there, very interesting Vlog as always , really well done and thank you 😊
The American LaFrance Fire truck sold for almost $11,000.00
great video! Love watching the auctions on TV. Someday in person live hopefully..

you need big money to play at the auction.but it is fun to see all kinds of automobiles and other things. thanks for the blog. headed there next week.
Woo!
I love it Adam!! It is so you. You need to come visit the panhandle of Santa Rosa Beach and Miramar beach, fl so you can drive it anywhere but Hwy 98.
You hit a gold mine of a DailyWoo video with the visit to Mecum’s Auto Auction!
Some pretty sweet cars there.
Love old cars
You and Micah are a great duo…
My grandfather had one of those Volkswagen bus and an old classic Cadillac. I always wanted a Mr.Bean car or even a golf cart would be nice.
I think it was appropriate for you to be standing under the “St. Cloud Room” sign for a moment!
Cool
Great video Woo. You hinted yesterday that something you have wanted for a long time was possibly going to be delivered today. Man I was really expecting you to come away from there with a classic car or truck 😂. Hopefully that will happen for you one day.
I swear he's going to buy a delorean one of these days lol
24:37 to 25:02 is an uninterrupted row of my dream cars. Second & third generation Corvettes. A lotta money sitting there!
Interesting stuff! I’d like that “Sinclair” sign 😂
Good morning Adam that auto auction is also on cable station, like Discovery channel. Mecum Auto Auction, it's an awesome 😎👍 place to bid on a classic or mussel car. Thank you for sharing this. Nice to see your friend as well Mirch.
It’s quite an event that’s for sure .

I go there every yr, its a nice day
I loved the McDonald's merry go round ..
You need to come to the Barrett Jackson Car Auction in Scottsdale.
Hopefully you ran into Hoovie!!!
Oh, that Dumbo would be mine! And I'm small enough to still fit in it, ha ha!
geez not that building again, you'd think it was disneyworld being torn down
Was just a place to do the intro and Micah hadnt seen it since was back .
We loved this video, I think you could do a documentary on this material, Loved a neon sign that had Polly Gas on it with the Parrot, that would have mixed in with a Lilo and Stich theme/Hawaiian theme Mini bar .Great video Adam.
So enjoyed this vlog! Used to watch the Mecum auction on tv with my dad. Never knew they so much more than vehicles! Awesome.
67 GTO at 10:03. Candy apple red. Convertible. That's the car I've always wanted... would be nice driving that to Town Center!
Pretty dang nice

Awesome video. You should've taken a ride in one of those muscle cars doing donuts. Just kidding. I would have taken a rain check too. 👍
I thought about it for half a second then came to my senses
Late 60s thru mid 70s Ford truck a good choice, especially for a tall galoot
You should have done the drifting experience! Talk about a huge amount of auction items, WOW!
Micah looks like he's one of Elvis' bodyguards ❤😊
If you go for a vintage car, consider one that has easy parts availability. Mustangs come to mind.
🐂🇺🇸🐱🤠🐎
I can’t wait to see what ends up in the garage at your new place
Awesome video 💯 come on Adam you should have done the drift track it's like a rollercoaster!
Will keep an eye open for my Oldsmobile that I am selling there January 11 :)
