Rules of interpretation.

The video looks at statutory interpretation in detail covering the the rules of interpretation generally, these are divided in to primary aides of interpretation which include 1. literal rule 2. golden rule 3. mischief rule & secondary aids of construction which are divided in to intrinsic & extrinsic aides of construction. Intrinsic aides include: 4. einsdem generis, 5. Noscitur sociis, 6. inclusory words & lists, 7. the interpretation Act 8. dictionaries 9. punctuation & marginal notes & 10. the Hansard.

Hello Akiror. That's a latin terminology that is used to mean in English: "The expression of one thing is the exclusion of the other" in other wards, that when one thing, term or word is used to refer to something, it means that those not included are not part of what has been stated or included.
