I know I always get so emotional Bc that part makes me think of all the people in my class who have a ton of friends, can get all their schoolwork done on time and just UGHHH
this song makes me feel like i'm not alone in my dark times and it helps me recover from times where i just feel utterly broken. i feel so reassured from this song because twenty one pilots' songs (especially screen) teaches people to accept that they're flawed and that they are not alone when they're suffering. i'd rather be in a room full of other people singing "we're broken people" than have someone tell me that it'll "get better someday" when i know damn well that it won't. if i were to have a list of my top ten favorite twenty one pilots songs, screen would definitely be up there; it's just such a delivering song with a powerful message that's so special to me.

Everytime i hear this i just want to go outside on a warm summer night, and lay in the grass looking at the stars in the sky and just sob because life's so beautiful and confusing and messed up but in that moment everything's going to be fine because nothing can hurt you and you're invincible and all the stress and anxiety doesn't matter because you're fine and you're loved by someone out there that's thinking about you in that moment.

It just makes me think and actually gives a little bit of hope. We're all broken, we're all full of fears, we're all dealing with demons yet nobody wants to admit it because if you do you'll be considered a broken person. Well, we're all broken so lets all just accept it, the sooner we break this huge societal ordeal of denial that we all need help, the sooner we can fix it. "I find over the course of a human existence one thing consists of consistence and it's that we're all battling fear." This line too (obviously in a different song) because it lines up with the idea that we're all scared. It's hopeful to know that I'm not only not alone in this, but quite the opposite. Now, in Screen, during the second verse, you can notice a deep voice singing under Tyler's. THIS IS BLURRYFACE. Occasionally remembered how I was listening to this one when my grandpa had to undergo a really tough heart surgery with low chances of success because not only was the surgery itself difficult but he was also extremely allergic to one chemical that's used during this type of operation. The operation was a success, and it's been 7 years since then and the grandpa is alright, even though his age has started to take its toll. I now live in another city but am soon coming to my hometown to spend time with him and grandma and take 'em to a restaurant in a nearby big city which they haven't done for ages Can't say if this song helped me through this difficult time but it really did sparkle some memories of it when I listened to it once again

i cried the first time i heard this at 'there's some people and I Who have a really tough time getting through this life So excuse us while we sing to the sky.' i am a self harmer and a lot of my friends self harm too, and yeah, we do have a really tough time getting through this life. i had a difficult start to life and im now fostered by my aunt and uncle and i swear to god they hate me. my aunts friend used to take me out every so often, and she was like the mum i never had. last year she got cancer and decided to stop treatment. she died and i was never told properly, and i could never go to her funeral. she doesnt have a gravestone i can visit, instead her friends planted a tree in memory of her. i must admit, i have spoken to the sky on dark nights when im feeling depressed, and the fact that tyler and so many other people have bben through similar things breaks my heart. twenty one pilots lyrics always apply to my life, even though ive only been a fan for a few weeks/ months. tyler, josh, i love you. and i love whoever is reading this. stay strong.

I relate to this song so much its not funny. I'd rather break myself even more then letting other people see me broken. Even if I want or need help I can't tell anyone because my mind forces me to remain silent and instead sob hideously. Then after that I just return to my miserable state or even worse. I get mad at myself for not being able to speak about it like its forbidden to speak of. Like in the song i'd rather sing (or scream) at the sky other then telling people my problems. I'd feel a lot better because, the sky can't judge you. The only reason I can say this here is because no one can really judge me or see me. No one can really judge me because I'm behind a *screen* I always portray myself as a happy go lucky person online to any random person. Yet here I feel slightly accepted because the comments are re-assuring. I'm not the only one who feels like this and uses this music for help. To be honest I'm glad I didn't go through with what I was thinking a longggg time ago. Sad thing is I'm afraid of pain and death to so I can't even end myself if I wanted to now. i feel so reassured from this song because twenty one pilots' songs (especially screen) teaches people to accept that they're flawed and that they are not alone when they're suffering.

That one part of the song really sticks with me so much. It just makes me think and actually gives a little bit of hope. We're all broken, we're all full of fears, we're all dealing with demons yet nobody wants to admit it because if you do you'll be considered a broken person. Well, we're all broken so lets all just accept it, the sooner we break this huge societal ordeal of denial that we all need help, the sooner we can fix it.
"I find over the course of a human existence one thing consists of consistence and it's that we're all battling fear." This line too (obviously in a different song) because it lines up with the idea that we're all scared. It's hopeful to know that I'm not only not alone in this, but quite the opposite. This is why I love TOP, they really help me and give me hope. Love the band |-/

I remember listening to this song about 3-4 years ago. I found it through an animator on instagram. Now I'm in love with tøp lmao.
Occasionally remembered how I was listening to this one when my grandpa had to undergo a really tough heart surgery with low chances of success because not only was the surgery itself difficult but he was also extremely allergic to one chemical that's used during this type of operation. The operation was a success, and it's been 7 years since then and the grandpa is alright, even though his age has started to take its toll. I now live in another city but am soon coming to my hometown to spend time with him and grandma and take 'em to a restaurant in a nearby big city which they haven't done for ages
Can't say if this song helped me through this difficult time but it really did sparkle some memories of it when I listened to it once again

i am a self harmer and a lot of my friends self harm too, and yeah, we do have a really tough time getting through this life. i had a difficult start to life and im now fostered by my aunt and uncle and i swear to god they hate me. my aunts friend used to take me out every so often, and she was like the mum i never had. last year she got cancer and decided to stop treatment. she died and i was never told properly, and i could never go to her funeral. she doesnt have a gravestone i can visit, instead her friends planted a tree in memory of her. i must admit, i have spoken to the sky on dark nights when im feeling depressed, and the fact that tyler and so many other people have bben through similar things breaks my heart. twenty one pilots lyrics always apply to my life, even though ive only been a fan for a few weeks/ months. tyler, josh, i love you. and i love whoever is reading this. stay strong.

I relate to this song so much its not funny. I'd rather break myself even more then letting other people see me broken. Even if I want or need help I can't tell anyone because my mind forces me to remain silent and instead sob hideously. Then after that I just return to my miserable state or even worse. I get mad at myself for not being able to speak about it like its forbidden to speak of. Like in the song i'd rather sing (or scream) at the sky other then telling people my problems. I'd feel a lot better because, the sky can't judge you. The only reason I can say this here is because no one can really judge me or see me. No one can really judge me because I'm behind a *screen* I always portray myself as a happy go lucky person online to any random person. This is just one of those TØP songs that everyone loves and never gets enough of it, it makes you wonder how society breaks us into thinking we are worthless, and this song brings us back from the dead and revives our soul and calms our mind and excites our hearts, they will always be a part of our hearts and remind us that even music can bring people together and destroy sadness. I glad a band like this exists.
