If you spent a bit more time developing software and less time making marketing videos I'm really appreciate it. I got this to work once with media composer, then couldn't get it to connect at all. The EUControl app wouldn't accept the tablet at all. THe installer has several options, yet nowhere in your tutorials do you ever mention that. I get tired of defending Avid to younger editors when you constantly overpromise and underdeliver
If you don't have an Avid control surface, you can only connect your iPad to your computer with the right adapters (I don't know about Android tablets yet). Yes, you need a wired connection if you only want to use the free Avid Control app by itself. This is the only way EuControl Settings will see it under All Surfaces. If you have an Avid control surface, such as the Avid Dock, S1, or S3, you don't need these adapters and can connect your tablet to your computer via WiFi after your control surface connects to EuControl via ethernet. I know it sounds stupid but maybe this is Avid's way of getting you to buy a control surface if you want to use the Avid Control app wireless. @@martinandersson3184 I confirm :). Even with an Ipad connected by Wire with my Mini mac pro 2018 Eucon software on the mac doesn"t see the Ipad. in the surface Tab of the setting of Eucon software
Got it working, definitely has some great features but I would really love it if we could set memory locations with it, when I try to create a memory location I get flashing "ok" or " cancel" boxes but touching on either one of them doesn't work at all. That would be one of my main uses when Im not in front of my computer. Theres just seems to be that one major flaw with every app that really disappoints.
In Cubase 11 Pro only 2 things work incorrectly: 1) Stereo Pan (width control or right knob) doesn't respond 2) Groups (neither link nor track groups are displayed)
Just tried using Avid Control today on ios 15.7, after a bit of a break from it all. Current version connects fine, controls faders, pan, and levels fine. However, I have no meters? I am on Win10 and PT 12.5. Previous Avid Control / Eucon version (unknown which) worked fine. I have disabled Windows Firewall and my antivirus software just for testing purposes, but no improvement. Any ideas as to how to fix or troubleshoot? Thanks ..

Eucon reconoce mi ipad y se agrega y en pro tools 10 lo tengo activado Eucon. El problema que tengo que en ipad sigue la pantalla de la app como que no se ha conectado nada, ojala pudieras ayudarme. Does it support 5.1 panning? and LFE slider for avid media composer? Can't seem to find that. Maybe it doesn't..... I guess if I'm in a 5.1 sequence, I can still adjust clip gain / volume but not access the 5.1 panning features? Maybe there's a setting I have to turn on somewhere?
ah then it showed up in the video... trying it with avid media composer now. hopefully its not only pro tools world......... *time passes looking at the app*..... I wonder if I'm missing something.... I switched to channel mode, parked playhead on a region in avid mc, and then I see Pan, tab in avid control app under channel and its a 5.1 panner looking thing.. but there's NO speaker icons.... just a blue dot that I can not click and drag around... I have a feeling that feature set might work great in pro tools and maybe doesn't work with media composer? I'd love to be wrong though!
Connection was made with media composer. But very strange behavior where mixer on ipad didn't follow the mixer on mc. Retried after one year hoping for better updates, but exactly same results. Ui still glitching on a newer ipad. Same shit behavior with mixer doing it's own thing and not following clip mode on mc. Tried tutorials and videos but there just isn't enough support for mc and this control app.
i would be great if it had a stable support for windows 10. the os crashed several times while setting this up. it has issues with my mouse (when i do left click it seems like it's making like a click and drop gesture) and my internet connection fall constantly. also it was complicated to reach to the pc installer. very poor software development/support. it's like it was launched in beta.
AVID hands down is the worst company on this planet just the worse if you're not on a Mac and have a major studio forget decent support. Just finding anything on their website is a hair-pulling experience. I'm currently running two versions behind because the current version just crash and burns randomly. They assume like Apple everyone is a millionaire and can afford their overpriced peripherals that don't always work themselves so sick of this crap.
You should consider a mac. There's a reason they're in every high end studio. It's about stability. The m1'/m2s in the mini's are powerful as hell and really affordable.
A tutorial video would be helpful as I can't work out how to connect this.

in lastest update i can't make ii work in ableton live windows and ipad...
