@@TBassFactory Agreed brother. The revolver seems to move more water closer to the front hook too which I think will give you a better hookup ratio if the fish strike further up on the lure
I don't have either one but I think if I could get one I would go with the whopper popper because if your like me I like it cause it comes in four or five different sizes and plus I want to get it on my line and start fishing it without trying to learn how to use it lol. But it look cool and everything but I'll go with the old school popper for me. Thanks again for all you do sir your awesome and your content your putting out is the best so keep it up. I like the whopper plopper and I've caught some good ones on it but the revolver retrieves so much slower and makes a different kind of noise. I like that the bass are less likely to miss the hook too. I honestly like them both tho.
Tried the revolver in a medium weed area and couldn’t get it to work at all. Went back to my spinner bait with a vile bug trailer and within minutes caught bass
I like the way you fish Steven. That was a good change. Yeah the revolver takes a little practice to get started plopping along. That grass totally messes it up.
I honestly can say the Googan revolver has a better action and slower retrieve speed than the whopper plopped. It makes a totally different noise through the water as well that seems more enticing in my experiences catching topwater bass
What i see with googan baits is the selling of the name not the products. I have a couple of their plastic craws and no luck change over to strike king craws and bam catching fish

U got it on the money with description of the retrieve. U can work the revolver slower and its better for moving water in the evenings. Especially this time of year when the bass are usually deep

Berkely Choppo has worked excellent for me. It thumps louder supposedly then Plopper
I have never actually used the chopping. I’ve always stuck with the plopped. I will have to give on a try now. Thanks bud

I had more fish miss or not fully bite on the revolver
