    - How can I use Staad Pro to design the mounting structure for the solar (photovoltaic) system?
    - If I have an existing industrial warehouse, how can I decide if it can withstand the extra load for the solar panels and mounting structure (around 20 kg/m2)?

    Suppose we have a steel warehouse of floor height 3.0m with a truss of height 1.30m resting on it. So when we check for max stroy drifts and maximum storey displacements, Should we check deflection and drift criteria only upto floor level or also at the top point of Truss .

    of A (area) in F=(Cpe-Cpi)*A*pZ, If I have 30m X 80m building with 6 m
    bay spacing

    For Taper 7 you had providen moment start and end as 0.99 . Is 0.99 a standard value to be given . Can u please explain?

      Moment start and end of 0.99 means that member is suppose to be pin only or it would be simply supported so it will not produce any moment at its end ,however for the model to be stable we choose to release 99% of the moment
