When you smell the leather straps and horses sweat, taste the damper and billy tea, and hear the thunder of hooves down a dusty track, you know you’re in Cobb & Co Country. This is more than a song, it’s a mark in history that captures the pioneering spirit of the Aussie bush.
‘Cobb & Co Country’ was created to help celebrate 100 years since the last Coach ran in Australia between Yuleba and Surat. The clip features locals from both towns as well as Wallumbilla.
The stage was set and the production all made possible thanks to the Maranoa Shire Council and the Cobb & Co Festival being held in August 2024.
