    there is a small delay on the beginning of the second robot, i guess no matter what there would always be a lazy guy at work.

    The company I work for bought two of these about 2 years ago and they've never successfully produced a single part.

    This is the kind of welding I could do. I can know the theory as much as needed. But my arms aren't going to move properly and where they need to go, (I blame that lack of ability on also not knowing how to draw). I'm sure I can program a bot.

    • @kkknotcool

      @@sictransitgloriamundi7033 Bull shit.
      This robot is not smart enough to totally replace and QC products.
      The point of industrial welding robots is almost always as a way to increase productivity.
      You take a good welder and teach him programming and give him a robot or two with one of these swivel jigs and he can double his productivity by setting up the material in the jigs and tacking it together for full welding. And when the robot runs out of wire or gas or gets a gummed up nozzle or whatever he's there to fix it for the robot.

      @@kkknotcool exactly. Robots work best when a human is around

    • @kkknotcool
      @kkknotcool 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mwanikimwaniki6801 I'd go so far as to say the vast majority of the time robots ONLY work when a human is around.
      Most industrial robots are glorified CNC machines,(no feedback or logic, just machine paths and error sensors) somebody still has to babysit, even under the best case automation scenario.

    Why is it so slow on the approach and retract movements? And why for the delay?

    • @superdude9077
      @superdude9077 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So they don't put much stress on the servo motors?

    • @davidrichards3605
      @davidrichards3605 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +capnthepeafarmer It is slow because it is in teach execute mode which is about 25% of full auto speed.
      The delay between the 2 is usually because with synchronised robots one is the master, the other the slave so the master controls everything and gives the start signal and you can get a slight delay from the slave robot receiving it.
