- I reminded Charles that in his book he explained what helped the video take off without realizing it.
You see after calling 911 for Amanda Berry he left his cell phone in his house. So when he left Seymour Avenue. All of the networks were trying to reach him to book him for their morning shows but no one could get ahold of him. He said in the book he returned the next morning to 3,000 text messages and 1,500 missed calls.
Can we get an update on Mr. Ramsey? I will never forget this guy. He is the realest and most genuine person I don’t know.

Amanda gave credit in their book 'HOPE' that Ramsey was the only person that helped her. The other guy walked up to the door then walked away. Amanda screamed to that guy and his mother to help and the mother said Amanda is dead. Amanda couldn't believe she not be rescued. Then Charles came up and helped her kick the bottom of the door in. He gave her the idea to kick it. there were two doors.......the first one opened but the second one was locked but Amanda could stick her hand out and wave and scream like Charles said, pretty white girl going NUTS at the door.
Yes....I keep thinking she only had a small window of time...before Ariel Castro would return at any minute from McDonald's. Who knows how many other neighbors might have ignored her cries for help?

And, then, when Ariel saw the cops were onto him, Onil said he pulled into a McDonald's. Of course, he thought that was strange, because they had just finished eating. But, then, Charles Ramsey was eating McDonald's, when Amanda Berry asked him for help. Same difference, I guess.

Any person who makes the mistakes he has in life and can then admit it to the world and take responsibility should be forgiven. Hes done more than enough helping save those girls and he straight up takes responsibility for all his flaws with no excuses. Thats called being a man.
I like that he admitted it made him uncomfortable and he would have cut it but it was divine timing that it was live because it was honest and real.

Interesting guy. For all his self-proclaimed flaws, he seems pretty honest about himself. I love how he'd use his fame to help his city of Cleveland. I wonder if that one day he helped rescue Amanda & others changed him a lot. Or did that day just allow his thoughts and feelings to be expressed because of his moment of fame. I wish him the best.

Michelle totally deserve to be recognise, considering that people and polices didn’t know. That she was a part of kidnap victim with Amanda and Gina, considering that she was overlooked and taken off the missing case.

i saw charles in the cleveland market .i was happy and i ran for a hug as a fan ,he ran to the register shouting..then shyt got clear and he noticed that i was just a fan and he told me, a dominican or puerto rican,colombian whatever running to a black man in a supermarket ...its either for drugs or i owl some money ,then he said dead giveaway..........lol charles its me from the market

He did a miraculous thing. However, this reminds me that everyone has good and bad in them.
He sure hit home with me about tearing down old buildings that no one is using. And holding slum lords accountable for the horrible conditions their houses are in. When I lived in LV NV it sickened me to look at all the empty houses and at the same time see all the homelessness. Those houses are empty because the rent is so fricken high in not so great neighborhoods. People who can afford high rent would never live in those neighborhoods. So the hoses end up sitting vacant for years.

I've said since the day this story broke, "It's not what you've done, but what you are doing that's important." I've heard people say that we have lowered our standards for heroes. Exhibit A: Anyone ever read the truth about Admiral Peary and the North Pole? He never made it. Not exactly a nice guy, but the world adored him. Of course, they didn't know the truth about his lies, racism and infidelity. Frankly, he makes Ramsey look pretty good because Ramsey has always been completely honest since this story broke. I pray for you Sir Chuck!
